I'm glad to finally know that the lash thing is on purpose. I think it looks terrible, but I was seriously beginning to question the mascara application skills of some of the makeup artists. I think the Twiggy effect looks better drawn on - not so clumpy and spidery. I suppose it doesn't matter so much, since we rarely get shots that are close-up enough to be able to make them out. I like the blacked out eyes, I think it would make the mask look better. But since the mask is so huge on her face, and the costume goes all the way up to the neck, it would be too much. I doubt the whole effect would look very good. She needs to do something about those mesh, fingerless gloves, though. It's ridiculous. And maybe go with a lighter lip since there's so much black happening.

I'm hoping they won't break up (or break up for long) this season, because I really want to see their happy times together. It sucks that the good times always come during hiatus, but I don't know if that will ever change. I don't think people who think this is too soon are whiners or wrong necessarily, but these two have been working together for years, in love for at least a year, and living together (and probably spending nearly every waking minute together) for the past five months. I'd like to see it, and it would be beneficial for the audience to see it, but not seeing doesn't make it less true. I don't think it's too soon for Oliver to want to make that commitment, especially since it seems like he's gotten everything he's been longing for for such a long time. It makes sense that he'd want to lock that down. Regardless, I'm glad it's going to get interrupted. I don't think this would happen, but I also wouldn't mind if Felicity found out that he was going to propose and they had a little talk about it. Taking time is good, I'm all for it.

No one here is saying that it's permanent though? Just that he wants to propose, and might propose by the finale. An engagement doesn't equal marriage and him being "a lighthearted jokester/family man." It's taking a step toward having a family and the normal life he's thought he couldn't have for the past three years. It's growth, which is the whole point?

Plus, he's already been there, done that. What a retread. No thanks.

Well, I hope you're wrong about that. I've had about enough of that guy. What's the point of following his story if he doesn't grow?

The EPs say that he's happy with Felicity, and that obviously lasts past the first episode (if spoilers are anything to go by). So it doesn't seem like he's realizing that he can't be in a relationship and be Green Arrow, it seems like he's learning how to be in a relationship while he's Green Arrow. He was ready to propose to Felicity as Oliver Queen, I wouldn't be surprised if he's eventually ready to propose to Felicity once he balances being Green Arrow, too. Green Arrow might be one of the "darker ones" on the CW, but the EPs have said they're lightening him up. That's one of the complaints about this show sometimes. He won't ever be Barry, but they're turning him into who Green Arrow is - a happier guy, not a miserable one.

I wouldn't be surprised if Oliver and Felicity eventually get married, but if they don't, I'm content in knowing that he wanted to marry her. At the end of S2, I honestly never thought any of this would ever happen.

SA and the EPs have teased that the FB wig will go away.

The CW promo monkeys fail in that they got a shot of the pics we have already seen, but alas, not the one where Oliver's wearing a teal shirt. PROBABLY NOT THEIR FAULT, BUT I'M BLAMING THEM ANYWAY.

I'm pretty sure that's what's going to happen. Obviously he actually isn't going to propose to her in the premiere. He was ready to do it as civilian OQ, but he'll need all season (or longer) to get it together enough as Green Arrow to ask her again.

Don't worry. He's not going to get around to asking her - Thea and Laurel show up.

Why would the mask be in CL's trailer? Seems like they'd keep that in makeup.

Well, people are going to compare Laurel and Sara whether Sara is alive or not, so that ship has sailed. And Katie doesn't have a say in what they do or don't do with Sara, so I'm not sure why anyone would try to sell it to her as if they had to convince her to go along with it. She doesn't have a choice BUT to go along with it. I don't see why she wouldn't keep the Black Canary name, since she didn't take it up out of any affection or need to honor Sara. Quentin used it to make fun of her, and she goes by it because comics. Maybe it was also in part to take Quentin's nastiness and turn it into a positive thing, IDK. Katie's been pretty clear that she wanted the mask, and she has it now. Sara's being around was part of the reason why Laurel didn't get it sooner. Since Laurel has the mask now, Sara's resurrection isn't going to impact that in any way, and she's getting shipped off to another show, Katie probably doesn't care about it that much.

No, HighwayFlower was speculating that Nyssa was responsible for bringing Sara to the LP. I agree that Nyssa would go along with it. The only thing I can think of is a) to get her help against DD's people that they can't seem to defeat, b) to get back in Quentin's good graces, or c) because...well, she can and she wants to. It seems from the interviews that were released today like c) might be the reason.

The members of the League would've been more loyal to her when she was still heir to the demon, though. It would've been easier for her to slip Sara through then than it is now. Maybe, but then where would this fit in? That doesn't make it seem like Nyssa has anything to do with the decision to LP her.

I think if the LP was an option in Nyssa's mind, she would've used it when Sara first died.
