  1. While the image of the Headless Horseman is very much ingrained in Sleepy Hollow and the show version, with the right storyline, the show can survive without it. I was also hoping they'd abandon the whole founding fathers theme, but given that we're getting a sexy Betsy Ross, I doubt that will open. Out with the OLD and in with the NEW I say. The show needed to be revamped and they're doing just that.
  2. http://www.tvguide.com/news/mega-buzz-sleepy-hollow-spoilers-headless-joe-corbin/ So, Headless is officially out as well. How do you guys feel about that? While I am disappointed, I am only mildly shocked. Abraham is just another casualty of Crane Family Drama. Tying the Horseman of Death to Crane and his wife was a mistake and everything having anything to do with that is being purged and rightfully so. There was no way to bring back Headless without bringing back Abraham and then that would lead to what no one wants, more talk of Katrina and Headless possibly continuing on with his vendetta to avenge Katrina’s death at the hands of Crane.
  3. I saw the season two recap clip on Hulu as well and was shocked at how little of what season two was really about was featured in the video. There are two more clips I’d never seen either, but someone on Tumblr said they weren’t new. They feature Tom and Goffman talking about the season ender. Hopefully scenes from the S2 DVD will start making their rounds soon.
  4. I'm still laughing at MsRafaelBarba calling Mark Goffman Goober.
  5. What makes you all assume the show will stick to the version of Betsy Ross mentioned in previous episodes? I surely don't think they will. Betty's only link is to Ichabod and it will be Ichabod whose hip she will be attached to. They could have brought in a neutral woman to lead or advise the witnesses, but nope, they have specifically brought in someone attached to Crane romantically for a reason. Expect that itch to be all up in the mix and in modern times. There is no way she's a show regular but will only be featured in the past. She's going to play a very big role in the show from here on out. Very big.
  6. Why is Friday and Saturday considered a death sentence in TV? I know it didn't use to be that way. Lots of hit shows through the years have aired on Friday nights. Is it just assumed everyone is out at the club on those nights? Have the execs not figured out the world is full of ppl who stay home. I personally don't do anything different on Friday and Saturay nights that I don't do Sunday through Thursday. My butt is usually home 9pm at night.
  7. Well damn, when you put it like that I feel like driving past his house and egging it. LOL
  8. I just peeped Mark Goffman's timeline and wow, people are being really mean to him. I almost feel bad for him: https://twitter.com/search?f=realtime&q=%40markgoffman&src=typd
  9. By the way, I pronounce Ichabbie as ICK-uh-bee, but I heard Tom Mison pronounce it as Ick-AB-bee in an interview. To each his own, I guess.
  10. To see what is being tweeted to someone on Twitter, go to search and type in @theirname, or in this case, @ccinnuendo. https://twitter.com/search?f=realtime&q=%40ccinnuendo&src=typd
  11. Abbiebod sounds like a robot or some sort of Frankenstein type monster. No. Ichabbie is perfect
  12. Yes, Sandra and her ilk are still tweeting him and the official Fox account and the @sleepywriters account. They aren't giving up on their epic love story. They are still fighting for Katrina to return and for Sleepy Hollow to become Pride and Prejudice. LOL. It's a handful of them over there who are really obsessed with colonial and other old time love stories which feature dainty, feminine women who sit around waiting for a man to show up and give them a reason to live. It's scary reading their tweets to one another. It's like they all want to live in a real life fairytale world.
  13. I never can understand why the number 18 scares some people. Hell, I wish Sleepy Hollow had 22 episodes like The Good Wife. That's the way shows used to be back in the day. They'd also have season finales in May and come back in September, 4 months later, not this nine month thing some networks are now doing. If a group of writers can't craft a quality season in 18 episodes, they should find another profession. I'm glad the show was renewed for 18 because it shows the network has faith in the show. To have knocked it back down to 13 would have shown a lack of faith in the writers and especially the new showrunner.
  14. Katrina is dead. Ichabod gutted her like a fish. Ichatrina fans can't possibly win with half their ship incinerated. Even if SH isn't renewed, Ichabbie was still end game. Oh sure, they're hoping for cancellation out of spite, but that won't bring Katrina back or take away from the fact that Ichabod chose Abbie in the end. Plus, Sleepy Hollow will be renewed. Like Ichabod, I have FAITH. :)
  15. I just checked, #CancelSleepyHollow is a dead tag. No one appears to have used the tag in 3 days. At least that's what I'm seeing on my iPad. On the other hand #RenewSleepyHollow is breezing along nicely and the petition is almost up to 3,000 signatures. 34 is all we need. If you haven't, please sign now. http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/renew-sleepy-hollow/
  16. I’m not happy with Goffman or Tom’s recent interviews about Ichabbie. Though I agree they should not become a couple right now, I am concerned with Goffman always claiming the mission needs to come first whenever Ichabbie becoming ‘a thing’ is brought up. He hasn’t cared about the mission all season, hence why we got so much Crane family drama. The mission took a back seat all season to Crane’s familial problems and of all things, the Cranes having a date night. Anti-Ichabbie sentiment is really anti Abbie/Nicole sentiment and the downplaying of the Abbie character is essentially what has sunk this show. Likewise, I woke up this morning to Tom saying Ichabbie should remain buddies as anything else would again ruin things. Like, WTF? How much worse can things get? Everyone knows the public loves Ichabbie, and clearly want them together, so how could their pairing ruin things? Ruin it for who? The Sandras of the world they’re still pandering to? I wish I could have faith in these writers, but I don’t. If they get a season three expect more male and female cock blockers being brought in to keep the Witnesses away from each other. It’s like these fools never learn.
  17. If the writers ar smart they'll skip Crane's man pain. No one wants to come back to a new season dealing with old problems. This is why I feel a time jump would be awesome. That way Crane will have mourned and the audience can be spared the needless drama. Season three needs to start with a bang and three words need to never be mentioned again: Katrina, Henry and Abraham.
  18. I can't belive how universally happy everyone is. I really expected more complaining about the ending. I'm glad so many ppl see it the way I did. The ending leaves the door open for anything to happen and I love that. The writers can do anything - even a time jump. I am so excited. So very excited for a third season.
  19. Tom and Neil Jackson are going to be at Birmingham Comic Con. That is great news and may be a sign the show will be renewed.
  20. The meltdown gas already began. This Gavin dude from Spoiler TV in my opinion is telling everything while trying to act like he's not telling anything. He's running his big mouth all over Twitter. He's given away the entire plot if you ask me.
  21. The only person's opinion you should be listening to is mine. If I am happy, you will be doing a dance at 10:00 pm. You know me.
  22. Just watched Tempus Fugitive a few hours ago. My take is at the link below. I enjoyed it and am looking towards the future. I'm excited and hope we get a season three. This show, this cast, deserves a season three. With the right folks at the helm, Sleepy Hollow has positioned itself to finally be something great. I didn't think they could pull it off, but they did. The powers that be put together a great finale that sends a message to both Fox and its fans. http://brownsista.tumblr.com/post/111613960559/i-just-finished-watching-tempus-fugit-and-here "Tempus Fugitive," damn autocorrect
  23. I pretty much agree with everyone who says this episode seemed slapped together. The Ichatrina break-up was unbelievable, as was Katrina's overly quick acceptance of dark magic as her true calling. However, given the ratings and Fox stepping in requesting changes, what else were the writers to do? The Crane family drama had to come to an end one way or another and I guess this is just what they came up with. It was ugly and messy, but so was most of this season. Next week's episode needs to be flawless to keep what few fans the show has left excited about a third season. Katrina needs to be killed off next and something needs to be set up for season three. Hopefully we get some Horseman and a hint of what evil our Witnesses will face in the fall.
