    What actually annoys me most about this show, and takes away from my enjoyment of it, is that as is typical of FOX shows, half the routines are spent panning to the audience and the judges making exaggerated faces and gestures. It's passable for Masked Singer because you can still hear them singing when the camera isn't on them. But you can't see the dancers dancing. And since at least half of each routine the camera isn't on them, it kind of defeats the purpose of the show.

    I'll honestly be surprised if this is renewed for a second season.

    There was also a quick shot around when he was burning the license plate in acid of what looked to be someone in a helmet standing next to him and I thought the same thing, when did she become his accomplice? Definitely a figment.

    I can see cotton candy being an ice skater.

    Last week, I thought the moth was Marla Maples because of the clues given last week.  This week, I did think she was Elizabeth Smart based on the clues.  She also plays the harp beautifully so I was convinced when she said that she plays an instrument and didn't have black hair.

    It's weird that they showed Group B again instead of Group A.  Since they showed how the final 6 is determined, it doesn't look like there is a Group C.

    I think they find the zebra entertaining.

    I think Cotton Candy is someone from gymnastics.

    All the sports balls (partnership with Erin) reflected in a mirror (mirror ball), the 18 on the movie clapboard (the season he won with Meryl), down on his knee proposing (Peta) and baby Sloth (Shai). It's definitely him. I just haven't figured out the boombox over his head clue yet!

    I hope he gets to let loose and really dance before this is all over!

    I think it's Maks from DWTS. Accident when he was young, Glee toothpaste (Heather Morris), D.R. on the name tags (Denise Richards), red Solo cup (Hope Solo), Mickey Mouse reference, the voice and accent when he said Broadway.

    My mum and I are both in love with Brian Geraghty and think he is a total hottie( the actor who plays the truck driver) and decided to watch this show because we heard he was in it.  Brian was great as Officer Sean Roman in Chicago PD and Commisioner Teddy Roosevelt in The Alienist. It is great seeing him as a killer as I have only seen him play good guys before.

    S05.E01: Forty: Part One/S05.E02: Forty: Part Two

    At first I was put off by them bringing the pandemic in so fully.....after all, there was no pandemic in the finale last season when we first saw a lot of those scenes.....but I quickly came to appreciate it and it made me remember how much we've all been through in these past six horrible months and how we got to where we are. 

    So glad the show is back!

    Season 1 Discussion

    So glad to see some of my DWTS friends here!

    I just finished Season 6 last night. I binged the whole season in less than 24 hours after discovering over the weekend that it was available via In Demand. So sad that it's over. 

    I did the same thing after each episode.....came here to read what others had said. Holding out hope for a movie or spinoff of some kind. I already miss the show!

    Tyra won't last.  I'm pretty confident of that.  But when she inevitable leaves Disney will I'm sure have long past realized that (they may already be seeing her just as a transition) and already have a strategy ready for the next replacement.  And while they'll have zero hope of completely recouping the lost audience, I'd wager they'd get ENOUGH of it back due to Tyra no longer stinking up the joint that they'll publicly position whoever comes after Tyra as a victory, even if it's not.  It will be spin, admittedly, but the viewership has been declining ANYWAY.  Actually one wonders if they won't simply retire the show instead, since it's VERY expensive.  That may seem unthinkable to many, but every show has a natural lifetime and this one may have exceeded it, Tom or no Tom. 

    I don't watch it, but what about Simon Cowell? Didn't he leave and come back?

    I think it's going to be more a matter of getting rid of Andrew Llinares. He's really stunk up the joint starting with the athletes season. Everything he's done has sucked. Hopefully ABC will rid themselves of him after this debacle. Then I could see them kissing ass to get Tom back.

    No, pretty sure they were already engaged when she got pregnant. I always figured that was her condition for letting Maks knock her up --- that he had to give her a ring first.

    Peta did the same thing. When Maks dumped her, her friend Mark took her in and let her live with him in LA. She and Sharna also became very close with some guy named Beau. As soon as she and Maks started speaking again, she moved out and dumped Mark. And shortly after she got pregnant, both she and Sharna dumped Beau.

    A lot of people were shocked she picked Nicole as her maid of honor over Sharna but I didn't think it was any big surprise. After all, Nicole is fam, Sharna is not.

    I like Derek and Len, and, under the circumstances, I'm okay with Derek as a stand-in (though I won't actually be watching). But I also gotta admit I lost some respect for him with those overly effusive remarks in the announcement. Man's gotta earn a paycheck, I know, and spew the company line, yadda yadda, but... I don't know, ignoring the elephant in the room (Tom) isn't a good look on anyone. Not surprised on the ignoring, though.

    I thought the exact same thing. Derek could've at least given a shout-out to Tom and Erin. He worked with Tom for how many years? And he knew Erin not only as a co-host but as a contestant. If you never watched it, the Outside the Box thing he did with her, Maks and Nicole back in Season 10 it's gold.

    Everyone seemed to back away from Peta and Maks after they got back together. Sharna's hung on more than anyone but not like before, and even less so after Peta picked Nicole Volynets as her maid of honor rather than Sharna. Although she apparently has done some workout with Peta for that dance app the fam is shilling.

    I noticed a few months back that the entire Volynets family has stopped following Maks on social media, though they all still follow Val and Peta. Maks purged his social media awhile back of all his former partners except Erin, Meryl and Heather.

    If Tom and Erin were smart, they'd start up a weekly podcast and just mock the hell out of the show.
