  1. Kanye should have respected artistry and dropped out of performing at the 40th Anniversary Show.
  2. I wouldn't call an 8 second clip a montage. They didn't even show the best part of that sketch where he imagines the bird ordering things with his credit card.
  3. Can you utter Conan O'Brien's name on NBC?
  4. With Fred Armisen on the tambourine.
  5. Chris Rock hyped Eddie Murphy for longer than Eddie Murphy appeared.
  6. No Lonely Island for the musical montage?
  7. This segment took a turn for the awesome.
  8. Yes! Jason in a track suit!
  9. David Spade works in a few more seconds of screen time.
  10. Was that Christopher Lowell behind Garth and Kath? That's the only way I made it through that segment was trying to identify him.
  11. They skipped Bill Murray too.
  12. Cecily's "Why are you surprised? It's on the cue cards" was the line of the night for me.
  13. Wow, this is a great way to start
  14. Holy Jon Bon Jovi. He's been bathing in the fountain of youth.
  15. Sandler has been listed in the promos.
  16. I'm happy to see Dave Chapelle, but has he ever done anything associated with the show? I wouldn't mind if he shows up in one of the sketches tonight. It's been far too long.
  17. Oh man, they were still 40 minutes over with material. I hope they release all the pre-recorded stuff they had to cut.
  18. lol, that Dan Akroyd still thinks Kristen Wiig and Fred Armisen are on the show.
  19. Oh the awkward of Sarah Palin next to Alec Baldwin.
  20. I mostly agree with their top 30, but not necessarily in that order. It's tough to rank the entire cast without some polarizing opinions (Norm being the prime example, and Bobby Moynihan being a surprising one... I didn't realize it was possible to dislike him!) but the one that's throwing me off is Cecily Strong. What has she done on the show that's so remarkable? I think it's because she's ranked just above Molly Shannon, who had such an iconic presence on the show, while Cecily has yet to make an impression beyond, "sucks to lose that Weekend Update desk."
  21. Watching Buck Henry's episodes in the rewind marathon, he was such a clutch host. I know he popped up as Liz Lemon's father on 30 Rock (perfect casting) but has he done anything SNL related since 1980?
