  1. Yeah, he was! He was kind of a lecherous old bastard, and like another side to Turd, really. The "Hanger On Dirty Rotten Scoundrel" character this guy played to a tee! Love that you pegged him as a "Hanger On", Aquarius! Right on the money!
  2. You had me up until St. Hope. I never could stand this character, and I was not sad to see her go, to be honest. I thought that whole storyline was contrived and stupid. Hope was just such a one-sided character, and in the whole scheme of things, Victurd didn't learn a goddamned thing during his time with her - he continues to be a vengeful, douchey asswipe. Plus, he ended up turning on Adam anyways, and constantly manipulated him. Not that Adam wasn't a piece of shit on his own sometimes, but Turd was the catalyst that helped push Adam over the edge, IMO. Completely agree about Vic's pal, Col. Austen. If I remember right, wasn't that Turd's boozy old running buddy? He was like the Greek Chorus for Turd when he'd go off the rails. You know, like the time he locked an adversary in the basement? Gah! I liked watching his interactions with that old fart; there's nothing more satisfying than seeing someone who knows who Turd is REALLY, raking The Old Rusty Black Knight over the coals with a glass of scotch in his hand. Good times! Shit, missed opportunity to not have Murph Dawg slip into this role, dispensing half-crocked advice to Turd!
  3. Yep. He can put damn near anyone to sleep with his bullshit. Plus, if they get bored, he can always hypnotize them into thinking they're part of a marching band, the one where he plays the air trumpet. And much to the chagrin of viewers, he's now dicknotizing Hilary with his close talking and tribal tats. Joimiaroxeu, the writers DO seem to be dusting off old scripts. I swear, there must be a board somewhere in the writers' room, much like the one that Ronan (Ramen Noodles) and Chief Kolbassa Paulie used a couple years back at the GCPD, that the team of red-assed baboons on the writing team uses to string ideas together. Idea A plus Idea B equals Idea C. I'm sure they recycle stuff all the time, because as a viewer I'm constantly like, "Haven't I seen this before?", and it turns out I HAVE!
  4. Ji Minh (sp?) was a good match with Jill also. The character brought another suave, savvy business player into GC, and he and Jill had chemistry. He was also wasted as well. Another character which was not developed as well as he could have been was Tucker. Stephen Nichols did a good job with him, though they didn't write the character very well. Another wasted opportunity. What's even sadder is that they could have done it right TWICE, with Original Recipe Tucker (William Russ) OR Stephen Nichols. I consider the waste of the character of a Tucker as another example of MAB's reign of terror on the show and why she needed to be shown the door as showrunner.
  5. Damn, just watched today's Canadian, and Jackie and NuKelly are breathing so hard when they lock lips I thought one of them might be having a coronary. Just one cheesy moment in this big block of Swiss today.
  6. I want her to start speaking about herself in third person, like The Rock used to do in the WWE: "Do you smell what THE Abby Newman is cookin'?". "THE Abby Newman is gonna stop you right there, Mariah....and stick her left foot straight up your candy ass!". Tell me THAT wouldn't be entertaining!
  7. C'mon now, you know there's gotta be a line of boner pills that Tricky Vic's R&D department developed - Viva Urge!
  8. Indeed. Plus, I would like to think that Ian Ward, as a figurative moustache twirling villain, would have better taste than to choose Battleship Doorass, Sharin's Ma. Old Ironsides is a shrew, and I think she would have talked Ian into hibernation (maybe this is why he needed psychobabble) during pillow talk, what with her bullshit and judginess. The woman had not a kind word for her daughter, no fucks to give, and absolutely zero forgiveness in her heart for Sharin. She's a terrible character! Keep it classy, Doris! I can't stand them either, but DAMN, that's harsh!
  9. I think that PB has been an anchor of normality and restrained acting on the show. After being paired with MS and having to play the straight man to Countess Jazzhands Windmillerson as well as other characters like CrazyCakes Patty, he's always the compass that reels in the crazy. Jeez, he even makes EB look good with the laid back performances. The only thing I don't care for with PB is the Patented Taut Jack Jaw. It's an embellishment, but not nearly as bad as MS' Crazy Eyed Fists of Fury. He does tend to overuse that move, though. Past that, I think he's perfectly classy in the role, and makes it look easy to play Jack. As far as Sharin', I wouldn't hold my breath on her going away anytime soon; she's central to a couple of big storylines, and like it or not, she's in there for the long haul. She's sticking around, and is a fixture, just like Turd's 'stache! Yeah, Ol' Dullard looked like he could go all K-Bar Army Knife Training with that Ginsu knife on Ian there, thus setting up the inevitable "Whodunnit?" with Ian. I hope they don't do that, as Ray Wise is hitting it out of the park as Ian Ward, but they'll exit the character, no doubt. That's sad, because a long term feud with IW would be great for any number of characters on the show.
  10. Well, of COURSE Nana Von Flatjacks will awaken once these two get together, and this will inevitably lead to Auntie Jackie, Lady Who Lunches, being in a triangle with NuKelly and NuPhyllis! Jackie will be stuck in a sl with the two newbies, and will have to suffer through the ire of his family, because a) he hooked up with Kelly, and b) that he dumped Phyllis while she was comatosed. Dude can't win. You're absolutely right about the Moofia arriving and wreaking havoc. Bobby Scorps (Coloncleanse Assby) will not be able to pay his debt, and Princess Lil and Junior Dingo will have to swing into action. Which should be boring to watch. Those two characters are boring as hell anymore, and Lil has one mode lately: bitchy. Oh, wait. TWO modes: bitchy, and judgy. And Purseholder Cane is also beyond useless. All he does is leer at his wife, make half-assed romantic gestures, and take his shirt off while sucking in his gut. Once again, Colin will be wasted as a character, and we'll have to suffer the indignity of more CK/DG scenes. Blah!
  11. Anyone else laugh at Hilary's impassioned speech, telling Leslie to "go to hell"? The way she was carrying on, I half expected her to scream, "KHANNNNNNNNN!". Damn, that was pure Shatner there for a moment!
  12. Wait until tomorrow, when they have a Hot Dog Date at Red Claws Memorial Park. Ditch yanks a flower, roots and all, RIGHT FROM THE FUCKING GARDEN and gives it to her. He also looks at her with a grin that threatens to melt IQ points instantaneously as he does it. That being said, this pairing looks like it may go places. Yeah, I sorta get the feeling The Big Reveal about Jock Itch is coming soon. As in, he's not squeaky clean, obviously. They've dropped a billion hints about it. And how they're going to have You Must Be This Tall To Ride The Rollercoaster Billy save Mop from Ditch, which is where I assume this might be going, is beyond me. Maybe if Stitch tied one hand behind his back, I'd buy this. But if this happens, I simply cannot pick up what they are throwin' down. DT's Billy looks like he couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag.
  13. Sadly, no amount of brainbleach, amnesia, or medication can truly make anyone forget the character of Phyllis. She's like burn-in on your tv, only worse!
  14. QUOTE OF THE DAY! And you're absolutely right - they should rename Stitch Big Pimpin'!
  15. THE SIXTH SENSE. Jesus, even the movies this show refers to are dated these days!
  16. Ok, here's another unpopular opinion: I can't stand the character of Tracey Abbott. I hate that they trot her out every once in a while, and that she has two modes: judgy and saintly. I also fucking hate that she can barely have a scene or appearance in which the Sacred and Holy Name of Saint Colleen is not invoked. My fiancée and I are always like, "....wait for it.....there it is!". I swear to God, you could make a drinking game out of Colleen References. Also funny how Tracey managed to get a twofer by mentioning both Colleen and Brad at the shitty engagement party!
  17. Serious? I've never heard this before! I'm intrigued!
  18. ....or, Reacharound, as it should have been called. That sl got dropped quicker than Nick's pants after a visit to Sharon at the Tacky House on a Friday night.
  19. Well, I'm guessing that folks that go to Ivy League schools for business aren't exactly morons. :) He also learned at the feet of Turd, mogul extraordinaire. The examples you cite are calculated moves to mess with others, all the while furthering his own cause. Even after his supposed demise, he is still worth multimillions.
  20. Ah man, I love this show! I used to watch it in high school years ago during its initial run, and I was shocked that CBC let so many things slide! I also had the good fortune of seeing these guys live on stage, and I had good seats - about 5 rows back. They are as good, if not better, live, than they are on the show. These guys are amazing improv comics! My favourite sketches are many; "Mad With Power" ("Perkins! Get under your desk!"), "Bear Attack", "Worker's Compensation", "Are you laughing at my car?", "The Jean Jacket" (the one where the guy trades his jean jacket to Satan for a weed dreadlocks), and anything with The Sizzlers. So many I can't remember here, so many classics! This show was consistently great....there were some duds, but most of the time it was awesome!
  21. Bwahahaha! Daisy Duke sure doesn't look like Daisy Duke anymore. I realize we all get older, but DAMN Catherine Bach has not looked good in any recent appearances, and she needs to step the hell AWAY from the Botox. It looks like she's the Michelin Man's Surprised Wife. It's creepy. DoppelCassie is also a one-note character as well, I agree. The actress that plays her (Camryn Grimes, I think, as it's the same actress.... "always been Cassie" ?) is just terrible. I realize that the character as it's written right now doesn't have tons of latitude, but Christ, she's as wooden as Steve Burton standing in a forest, FFS. BRUTAL.
  22. Um, because Paul needs his GCAC Restaurant/Sammich fix when he works late. And Bug is like Pizza Hut - delivers to the door in 30 minutes or less! Also, she needs to occasionally brag about her Super Important Job.
  23. No. Working with Syphyllis was probably the height of his stupidity, but the Sharin' 'ship seemed like a good match, IMO. I interpret the "dumb" part as always seeking validation from PeePaw Vic all the time, even when he was feuding with him. Adam could just not cut the daddy issues loose. For a shrewd businessman, who was so much like dear old dad, he did some dumb shit in regards to Victurd.
  24. I'm laughing so hard right now I'm just about to spit out my soda!
  25. Agreed, but the writing seemed to relegate her "advice giver".
