  1. Like to know myself not to mention the fallout of the scandal of season 1. It has gone to: "You don't want to play by our rules, we will ruin you." Been going on since season 1. So, that hasn't changed. Peter wouldn't do things for the Olympic Commission of Chicago. They let his sex with hookers and favors get out. Season 2: "Either support Peter to be SA again or you are out on the street." Season 3: "You can't divorce Peter, it will ruin your career and family." Season 4: "Either drop out of being governor or we'll ruin your rep." Season 5: "Don't like working here? I'll ruin you." Season 6: "Either drop out for the greater good of the party or we'll ruin you after working to get your position and don't think your former running mate didn't take a bribe!" Also: "You will help us take Bishop down or we'll send you to jail!" Remember kids, the moral of the story is, take the fall or you are screwed!
  2. The problem is, the show keeps spinning in circles. Alicia is thrown under the bus for "the greater good." The loser can't lose so he has to set things up to be an investigation. No one can tell the PI guy to take his kids to daycare or they aren't talking to them. Idiots talk about how smug and super smart they are and then are shocked that someone recorded the conversation on a cell phone. Grace can't realize by now that her dad was a cheater, her mom fell in the same trap due to being lied to. Of course, in Alicia's mind, Grace sniffs glue. Everything with Geneva and the trying to take down Bishop has become a joke. You won't play ball even though I'm sorry you got framed to get Bishop. Yet I'm going to press to another person to either get Bishop for me or they can go to jail. Because no matter what, I'm right. I was with the judge, I need a drink after all of that.
  3. Funny how people think that the ending to this episode is so graphic its shocking. Let's just say the final scene is from the comic books but instead it ended with the guy having his arm taken off by Fisk and him bleeding to death while laughing.
  4. Something that was talked about early in Daredevil was that
  5. Great work introducing Ben Urich and Fisk at the end. That opening was really shocking. You felt bad for guy but at the end, he knew what was the right choice to protect his family. I actually liked this being less Daredevil fight until the end and actually working the court scene more. I was afraid we would be waiting longer for some nice court drama. Always loved that aspect of Daredevil, Owsley continues to be great.
  6. Especially when Nancy Travis is older and larger body structure both up to and below. Of course Vanessa feels she has to talk about what black people she "likes" so she can stay friends with her neighbor and "inner city" school principal. I wish they would also drop that the school is apparently in a bad part of town because despite a school set. Anyone from the school apparently is very culturally mixed and somehow isn't the same high school that Eve and the girls went to previously. I scratch my head at just where Vanessa is commuting to teach. Of course, Eve still believes she has to be a "boy" to please MIke. News to writers, a girl can be a tomboy until they are grandparents and realize they don't have to be "boyish."
  7. I also agree, if there is a season 2 then this sets everything to move forward but at the same time keep everyone under the same roof to keep the dynamic of the show.
  8. Since season 2 all the characters went down hill. Vanessa the most and then recasting Kristin, Boyd and Ryan to bring "the drama" and Tim Allen's political views. Vanessa however has become the worst. I mean what happen to the smart but wise mother who was just a little out of touch with current trends. Now she is: "I don't know. I'm not a doctor." Mike: "Umm... yes you are? Who are you again?" Of course Mike has become very borderline racist and Kyle has devolved into: "Duh... which way did they go George?"
  9. Also, as pointed out, its a retread of why Cristela waited to become a lawyer to begin with. Her father died and then Ama got sick from the situation. She dropped out to take care of Ama with Daniela and to help with the kids since Felix said he was working more then. All of a sudden, Daniela is out of the job and Ama apparently pays all the bills for the house and makes the money so she tells everyone they have to return, drop out and get this money. I agree, why couldn't Daniela get the sweeting job at the beauty shop? Also, since Daniela was fired, she can get unemployment. It was the classic: "Change the characters so the story will work when it doesn't make sense." Also, as said, why is keeping another excuse from happening in 6 months when taking the bar exam again?Ama can get off her high horse and get a job!
  10. Oh I completely got the mother's reaction, as they told her, she lived, she escaped the villiage. Yet, she still thinks that way. The biggest problem was is how the sister lost the job. I was in the same position years ago as I started earlier but they let me finish the full day and then took me to the office and told me I was being let go. Of course, I've heard worse where a friend of mine was about to come in on a Monday and was stopped at the front desk. Told to wait and then were told they were done after three years. Saying they were doing away with his position and they were putting two of his co-workers to share the responsibilities. He was not happy and even told them why did they not tell him the previous Friday instead of waiting until the moment he walked in the door. They told him the decision as made weeks ago. Yet they waited until Monday morning. Of course the people who made the decision are no longer there and they were also told: "We don't need you anymore." As Andrew said: "When is someone going to worry about what you want." I hate to say this, by why can't the mother get off her butt and get PT job?
  11. The story was a little too close to life. I was in the same situation back in 2010. We lived with my in-laws and I was getting ready to take a very important test. Then I lost my job and my in-laws were all: "You get a job!" "You have a kid on your way and the test can wait." I didn't spend the money for it but the test was radically changed a few months later. As a result it took me 4 tries before I passed it after everyone told me it was a walk in the park. But the test had changed so dramatically they had to retake it for recertification and their reaction was: "What test is this?" "This is extremely hard!" I hated the forced cliffhanger though, just let us know if they passed.
  12. The show has fallen so horribly. I mean, Vanessa has gone from intelligent to funny to: "I have to keep showing our neighbors that I like black people." Yet, they said they hate it. As for Eve, I have no problem seeing her think that is how Mike wants her to be but in season two and part of three, Mike said he didn't want to be like that and hasn't. Also, they show Mike as being pretty reasonable showing how to golf or play other sports. Now, Eve is saying its too hard being a boy. Then Eve, stop doing it, start dating and just say you don't like girly stuff but enjoy being a woman. I'm also surprised that Vanessa's "inner city" school is apparently a very nice place that isn't any different than a regular high school these days. Wow! I get they can ship Ryan off to driving a truck some place but they feel they have to use Boyd by spinning around until he throws up. Apparently his ADHD is back in full swing. What a useless character and Kristin just isn't funny.
  13. Oh I completely agree, especially if you see what all the male actors have done since. Sadly it translated to angry or having issues that would border on abusive or people you don't want to know IRL.
  14. The only way it could have was if Manny had knew his mom was going to pull a fast one of them by either realizing it was just water from a bottle that was rinsed out. Or he had seen what she was doing earlier. Let's face it, Luke has no brain anymore, I'm surprised he can get dressed in the morning with how stupid he has become. Seems to happen with the Dumphy kids except for Alex. The get stupider as they get older.
  15. Taylor was just power hungry and loved it when he got his way and the town just fell over agreeing to his half assed ideas. I mean they were really bad. I agree with Madeline and Louise but that was also due to them working on other shows (two which failed and two which they got fired from). Why Colin and Finn were brought into the series too. They wanted Logan to have the 2.0 versions because they wrote off Rory and Paris's roommates becoming the "new" Madeline and Louise despite positive reaction from critics and fans of the show. Because they wanted to focus on the affair and Paris losing it from Fletcher dying. Of course as we saw that was a big disaster in the end and when the actresses who played Madeline and Louise were busy with other shows Colin and Finn were shoved front and center and then Rory got her college sidekicks.
  16. I don't either it was more of Dean coming off as not wanting to speak up until the entire dance marathon where he finally had it. Which, I could understand, it was about making Jess jealous and Dean finally couldn't take it anymore. I think if he would have stopped being so angry about what he knew was true or Lorelai would have just told him to either speak up or tell Rory to stop messing around and deal with it. It would have been a different situation. Not singing: "You are the wind beneath my wings."
  17. I also thought Logan was the best out of all the boyfriends. If Jess would have gotten over himself, he would have been good for Rory and Logan wasn't being crazy jealous and not saying anything like Dean was. Or a moron like Tristan was. I do still hate the "slept with the bridesmaids" part of the character. Proving that the writers wanted to create drama just for the sake of it. Even if it was in character for Logan, it just was very off putting on the character. I got more of his party life and not wanting to give it up and be like his parents and grandparents attitude a lot better.
  18. Eve wants to date? She gets a boyfriend and they either want to change her or she complains about them all the time. Why bother? Just have her graduate and go to college and then she can worry about it. Oh wait! All the girls either get stuck at home or go to college and study at home. Never mind, go right ahead Vanessa. Maybe we'll see this amazing "inner-city" school that you work at finally.
  19. Unless they bring her back, who knows. It was like Kristin's anti-vaccine stance, never resolved and never heard from again. They want to do these types of stories but never follow through or completely change character's history to make them work. Its like Vanessa as an "inner-city" school teacher now. We never, never, never see her in the classroom. They want to build an add on for the Outdoor Man restaurant but heaven forbid they do a school classroom set. Since this was: "Vanessa's Dream."
  20. That was what the spin off was suppose to be for Jess but as we know, the show didn't happen.
  21. I agree there the only thing that still gets me is yacht gate with Logan skeeting off to Europe all summer with a hand wave from the courts and how much priors he had. Yet Rory got everything thrown at her and even though Logan offered his lawyer who had gotten him out so many times. He was almost smiling on how Rory worked through all the community service like it was a joke.
  22. Oh exactly, most places that are branch areas owned by the same company there is more of a barrier (movable wall or gate) that keeps things separated because it looked pretty easy for even a kid to run over and grab a $50+ item and make off with it.
  23. Its like the reveal last week that Geneva was really behind Kerry's framing and the Bishop investigation from the start. Also Castro telling Alicia she can't stop it and shouldn't try to stop it. I was like: "She has all the power in the world as the SA. She can do that." If anything, Alicia can even point out that Geneva went through unethical means to get Bishop and it also makes it looks like Bishop had Castro on his payroll. Trust me if Alvarez wanted an investigation stop, she could with a snap of her fingers. She is the SA, not Geneva. Also, when Alicia told Bishop if he named his Lts he be set then he argued he couldn't. That was even stupider because if Bishop does plan to go: "straight" his other guys would fold fast without his backing and money or be eaten up by other kingpins. The Kings have no idea how it works in the legal system, political system or even the drug trade.
