The engagement day (Oct 6) would have been the day Jill was traveling to Austin for Gold school. So she was for sure out of town. Unclear where the rest of the Rods were.
We don't know if they drove back to Ohio from their time in New England and Jill flew from there, or Jill flew from New England and the rest of the Rods were on their way back to the barndo.

No Rods were present at the engagement. Just Heidi's family.

In the latest People magazine article (i saw screenshots of the magazine on reddit), Jill says both Israel and Sam are in school.
I know we've debated if they were in school or not (I leaned towards not, based on the info we had), but it's nice to have confirmation one way or the other, and I'm glad they are in school.

I remember at the time Jill also said she now knew what it was like to be a military spouse with your spouse gone for long periods of time. Right. Becuase your spouse being gone ONCE for 2 weeks is exactly the same as what a military spouse goes through. *eyeroll*

I remember the local news here doing stuff on that when the info on Josh first leaked. A U of A professor was interviewed and said that there was nothing illegal in that release. It was badly redacted, but they were not required to redact anymore than they did. The sisters likely would have gotten more mileage out of advocating for a change in the law than suing the people who released it as part of their job and didn't violate any laws in the course of doing that job.
The judge found that the release was illegal, but that the sisters did not meet the burden of proof on the invasion of privacy/being harmed.
The judge noted that the officials were rushing to meet the FOIA deadline and didn't properly research if these records could be released.

SpoilerIn their sudden rush to release the reports, Defendants failed to adequately investigate the applicable law. Neither report should have been released, even with redactions.
The Arkansas FOIA is not all-inclusive, which is to say, other Arkansas statutes contain provisions that either expressly or effectively allow additional exemptions and exceptions to the FOIA. The individual Defendants were seasoned government officials tasked with the responsibility of deciding which governmental records should be publicly released and which should not.
Yet all individual Defendants were seemingly ignorant of the privacy rights Arkansas affords to sexual assault victims and to families that are identified as “in need of services.”
Under Arkansas Code § 16-90-1104(b): A law enforcement agency shall not disclose to the public information directly or indirectly identifying the victim of a sex offense except to the extent that disclosure is: (1) Of the site of the sex offense; (2) Required by law; (3) Necessary for law enforcement purposes; or (4) Permitted by the court for good cause. (emphasis added).
In the instant case, even though the Springdale Police Report and Washington County Incident Report contained redactions, both reports quite obviously identified the victims of a sex offense.
The redacted reports revealed that the victims were the minor children of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, that the perpetrator of the sexual abuse was also a child of the same parents, and that the victims lived in the same home with the perpetrator. Moreover, the disclosure of the reports was not required by law.
Because the Duggars were the subject of a FINS case, the police reports affiliated with that FINS case were specifically exempted from disclosure under the FOIA, pursuant to the Arkansas Child Maltreatment Act, which states: Any data, records, reports, or documents that are created, collected, or compiled by or on behalf of the Department of Human Services, the Department of Arkansas State Police, or other entity authorized under this chapter to perform investigations or provide services to children, individuals, or families shall not be subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act of 1967, § 25-19-101 et seq. Ark. Code Ann. § 12-18-104(a).
The Court finds that the two statutes quoted above—§§ 16-90-1104(b) and 12-18- 104(a)—are clear and unambiguous.

You just triggered a memory. A few weeks ago I was looking at my property on the county website to get something, and there is a sidebar on the website showing schools and daycares in the area. One of the daycares was called Joyful Noise and I had to do a double take! 😂😂 I was so confused at first since I spend so much time on the Rod threads.

Yes, every line is a more accurte description than every verse. It's almost like the counting became their own lines he did it so often.
As more and more of the kids become adults, it just becomes more apparent how dismal their education/upbringing has been. The boys were given no chance of success.

Yeah, so weird. On my phone i looked up jessa on my IG app and still no song shows for that post. Odd. But regardless, I now get the comment about Taylor. I don't think Taylor does witchcraft!

Thanks @ginger90 that makes more sense. I was looking at the post on my laptop, not my phone and it doesn't show a song.
I checked on my phone and no song is showing for me there either. So either i can't see it because I don't follow her or she removed it.

I don't generally go to her IG, but I went to get a summary for you. It's a 4 slide post, one picture of each kid playing in/near a stream with the caption "It's been a good summer".
One person commented "I heard Taylor Swift does witchcraft. I stop listening to her songs!" which is baffling since the post has nothing to do with Taylor. Very weird.

Same. By the time 2026 rolls around, she will be 44. Possible she could still have another. I hope not for her sake. John won't care though.
I wonder if Anna is somewhere deep down releived to never have to be pregnant again. I know she thinks having babies is her duty as a wife, but maybe deep down she's glad she doesn't have to be pregnant again.

Priscilla should be on track to have another one in 2024 too, so I'm sure she'll be announcing any time in the next 6 months. I'm sure that'll make Anna even more mad. The 3 of them always seemed to rotate who was having a baby, Anna in the odd years, and Esther & Pris the following even year, then Anna again in the odd year. Rinse and repeat for a decade.

The wifi covereage of one device is specific to what is included with the plexus cruise prize (room and board, meals, wifi for one device, etc). On their normal cruises it would be whavever is listed on the cruise lines website, but this is part of the plexus prize. What's included is all in the plexus cruise FAQ

Jill's been a Senior Gold since 2021, and I think she reached Gold in around 2017.
You can search the Plexus website for a list of Ambassadors by rank. I know it's been checked before and verified that she was Senior Gold.
I'm not sure if they had Gold School in 2017 when she first acheived that rank. If they did, I don't think she went.
But the email says you can also qualify if somoene in your downline reaches Gold or Senior Gold rank. So that could be how Jill qualified this time. She did recently post that one of her downline had her best month ever. That could be it. Of course Jill makes it all about her and makes it seem like she acheived something.

Took me a minute to find her. If you click the link for "social media" in the second paragraph, it takes you to a reddit post. Then if you scroll over to the second picture in that post, she's in the back next to Priscilla. Beige/brown dress. I didn't recognize her at first, but I looked closer and I'm pretty sure that's her.
