For me, covers are really important. Of course, when I want to buy something, I pay attention mostly to the short annotation, but still, cover matters. And I don't really like illustrated covers. Like the first example you provided. The original one is good and I'd buy such a book. But illustrated version is just not that attractive

I read The Connellys of County Down and I really liked it

I finished Act of Oblivion by Robert Harris and can't say I liked it. It has a pretty good rating, and some of my friends also recommended that book, but honestly, I finished it just because I can't leave the book without finishing it. I also have Fatherland but I've not started it yet. Maybe, someone has read it already? Now I read Devil in a Blue Dress by Walter Mosley and after reading half of it I can say that the book is great. The plot is interesting, and there is intrigue, which I love.

I'd been playing for a long time, and the game is great. But now I just don't have enough time. And when I have it I prefer doing something else. But I really want to go back to old good times and play for couple of hours

Fantasy is one of my favorite genres. I've read different books and series, and for now, The Faithful and the Fallen by John Gwynne is my fav series ( Ruin I loved the most ). Recently I got A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas, and today, I'm finally starting it
