Ballpoints work very well. And.. somehow I'm back to pens. Is there a full moon tonight?

We have about a million remotes so for us it's pens. For some weird reason, my husband hoards pens. If one runs out of ink, another magically appears. I say "Where the hell are the pens?" and he just shrugs and looks mysterious.

I've seen complaints that there is no sarcasm font.

Lol, my son got a whole pork shoulder. Same type of deal. I think it weighed around three lbs. He was thrilled.

Funny story. Our mailbox used to be about two blocks down the road from us. One day a mail carrier brought a package to the house and remarked on the distance. I agreed. She said "Listen if you have a box or something, I'll just bring to your house." I have a small Igloo cooler so we decided that would work. I put the cooler on our front porch. For a couple of years that's what we did until our renters next door wanted a mailbox closer to their house so my husband cemented in two mailboxes on a nice stand at the end of our driveway and that was the end of that chapter. Weird, huh?

This seems to be the state of affairs these days.

Oh, these are women? I was picturing old dudes. Maybe they can play canasta?

You never know, they might just get all hopped up on all that caffeine and go on a rampage at the Early Bird special!

I'm sorry you're not sleeping. That is such a hardship, my DIL suffers from insomnia and it makes life harder than it should be.

Well, it does have a partial view of the lake but so does my son's apartment. But his is a one bedroom, one bath and it's 2K a month.

Seattle is no better. The condo next door to my son is going for 5K a month. 2 beds, bath and a half, no pets.

Seattle gets brushed with the same dirty brush. I swear there are people who think Seattle and Portland are on fire all the time. It's so ridiculous.

Maybe they're in gangs! These old lady gangsters have been trying to take over our peaceful sidewalks and tea shops!

To me, loud means angry.

The hassle part comes with as Blue Skies says "crowding around, and talking loudly". That would make me uncomfortable and what if you happen to say something they don't like? I worked in a restaurant in high school and we had the same old guys who would come in every day as soon as we opened and sit at the bar all day long. They never said one word to anyone but they drank all day. We made money off of them. I'd rather have them in my shop than the angry coffee drinkers.
