  1. Eventually one could, theoretically, live in the farmhouse and the other in the perfectly respectable second house Matt is currently building, but neither Jeremy nor (especially) Zach seems to understand how to play the long game.
  2. Oh, brothers! 😂
  3. Like Little Bulldozer with anger management issues would let someone pick her up against her will and not say anything at the time? Right, Amy; pull the other one! Lucky for her good-natured Chris is such a credulous dumb-bunny pushover...
  4. That looks like one hot mess, even by Amy's standards. That's a "garden"? Let's just hope this isn't the area of homemaking or homesteading she ventures into into next in her quest to be Martha Stewart.
  5. Sounds like the questions she's soliciting are strictly Grandma-related. She's loving every minute of this Grandma thing, but is Chris? Yes, that's "normal," but her main pleasure, I have a sneaking suspicion, is rubbing Matt's and "Chi-Chi's" faces in it... Amy and Zach are two spiteful, vengeful little bookends with a common enemy. Yes, they're all that boring. Or that entertaining, depending on your perspective.
  6. I haven't read Amy's memoir and don't plan to, but I take everything Amy says - verbally or in print - with a large grain of salt and a pinch of garlic powder. She's definitely not above prevaricating and creating false impressions with vague statements, from what I've seen over the years, so "a text that isn't appropriate between coworkers" isn't proof of a physical affair in my view, for instance. As for her digestive issues, I well remember the trip to Michigan with Chris during which there seems to be a concerted effort including her brother to convince him that her anger management issues stemmed from a lifetime of being bullied. She at that time claimed to have gotten a stomach ulcer from the stress of it all; there was no mention of ulcerative colitis (an entirely different disorder), a surgery, a device, etc., and it wouldn't have been like Amy to leave pity points on the table. It worked, BTW; Chris was shocked and sympathetic and forgave Amy her bad temper and rageful outbursts which had looked like they might derail the budding relationship shortly before this. It was surprising that even Zach was shocked to hear that Amy was bullied as a child. Really? She wouldn't have shared that with him??? I, for one, find that hard to believe had it really happened. Maybe that one guy picked on her, but I wouldn't put it past Amy to exaggerate it for effect. As for currently wearing an ostomy bag, she's worn very tight two-piece swimsuits since meeting Chris, so I doubt it.
  7. I distinctly remember reading (and posting here) that Matt raised the countertops and made all necessary repairs to the attractions before putting it on the market, which any savvy seller would automatically do (it's unlikely another dwarf family with five children is going to wander by and buy it) and any decent realtor would advise a seller to do. The Arnold-Kleins did the same to their custom-designed house before selling and, as I recall, that took a while, too... Maybe some buyers don't want the notoriety??? The market for it, of course, would be as a bed-and-breakfast which, ironically, was Amy's "dream job" for most of her life. There are ample fans to keep it in business. But I concur that he's probably just testing the market and maybe also trying to light a fire under some of his progeny who CLAIM to want it so badly. If they're sufficiently distressed at the prospect of losing it, maybe they - and their wives - put aside their differences and come together to make it happen. That would be an ideal solution. But Zach's impulse purchase and then Jeremy's finding the perfect forever home/farm put an end to that scheme. Now I'm sure he's just waiting out the contract and figures if he gets $4m out of it or close to it, it's all good. It's not enough to just "stop pumpkin season"; he wants to retire. Just keeping up that property is a full-time job. Heck, I'm ready for a condo myself, and I own a little tiny house!
  8. "Hearing problems" is a good excuse, but there are simple enough ways to determine that; when they say her name, even when she's across the room, she responds with "EH?" so it's pretty obvious that she can hear perfectly fine... She was also fussy from almost Day One and late to hold her head up, so she just seems more severely developmentally delayed/disabled than Jackson. Apparently it's a crap shoot with dwarves; they may be perfectly healthy like Amy or face a lot of various challenges in life; it'll be interesting to see how "Sigh Sigh" does and if they have more kids.
  9. I don't believe in ragging on J&A since I'm generally a fan and, also, they're no longer on the show, but that is just gross. Ick.
  10. So Zach can drive the kids an hour and back to Amy's house (I guess the new go-to daycare when Tori kicks him out of the house on a daily basis so she can do - what, exactly; Tweet in peace)? But severely disabled Matt who's still working full-time has to "make the effort" to see them? It takes considerable effort for him just to get in and out of his vehicle, as we've seen recently. And Grandpa and Cha-Cha who also kept them overnight several times a week (wow; parenthood is easy these days!!!) can no longer keep them...why??? Nice! I only hope this is all scripted... As for what was said by whom in the "argument," we have no idea unless we were there. I wouldn't call any of them reliable reporters, although I tend to believe Matt. I would've said Chris until he became Amy's mouthpiece and hand puppet. I also noticed Matt saying Zach said no to the deal, so I gather from that he offered them the house sans the woods for Zach's offer, but Zach got in a snit about the woods which, yes, I'm more than sure they could've continued to use for their father/son campouts without the disadvantage of being responsible for the upkeep of the trees, which can get quite costly when arborists and trimmers are involved. But that's how dumb Zach is!
  11. Strange! It looked white (or whiter) on the show. Special filters? And egad!!!
  12. I didn't say there would have been a show if it were just Matt. I said there would have been no show WITHOUT Matt. Amy didn't object to her children's "loss of privacy," either... I'm sure back then both saw it as an advantageous opportunity.
  13. I notice she's got Zach and his family front and center... How much is she loving suddenly becoming the "favored" grandparent and rubbing it in M&C's faces???
  14. How much did Zach and Tori just spend on their house? They can't run down to a big box store and get a ride on mower, either? Seems they were GIVEN not one, but two of them! I don't blame Jer if he pi$$ed about that, but he's not asking for a freebie (or two freebies); he's shopping for a used one. Anyone with common sense does the same rather than buy new when you don't have to. #TeamJer&Auj
  15. I noticed both Zach and Tori using the word "chose" regarding the surgery, as in "we CHOSE the less invasive (or "intrusive" as Teacher Tori once erroneously put it) procedure." That certainly sounds like the more invasive -- and the immediately effective -- procedure was offered to them and perhaps even recommended; only Tori is attending these appointments, so even Zach is relying on her reporting, which I suspect is bound to be sugar-coated since Tori seems to live in Lala Land. Unconscionable that they would deny him a sure fix for their own comfort's sake.
  16. Tori seems to get angrier and more bitter all the time. Each dwarf birth seems to exacerbate the situation. Wait until they're ALL having corrective surgeries at once.
  17. Well, that would be math (or at least statistics) again. If they didn't understand the true value of the farm, as evidenced by three separate individual objective appraisals, you can't expect them to understand that they have a 50/50 chance of having a dwarf with every pregnancy. There's that pesky reality intruding!
  18. I can't imagine it's very easy for Matt to navigate sand dunes on his crutches.
  19. Poor Murphy! He's really and truly now a "junkyard dog." Their appalling treatment of that sweet soul is even more appalling when your realize that BMDs seldom live more than 5 or 6 years, being particularly prone to developing cancer. I'm sure Caryn didn't enjoy BEING motion sick, but they were being accommodating hosts since "adventurers" Chris and Amy had to ride the bumpy ride while there. A stool wouldn't have gotten Matt up and over the side of that vehicle unless he just rolled in head first; his legs are useless. He had to be hoisted up and over it just as Jeremy used to bear-hug and lift him into the mule; now farm workers do. It was nice of Chris to help. Made with "love," skin cells, unwashed hair, and saliva.
  20. Amy, who is a millionaire married to Chris who's probably also a millionaire now if he wasn't before he hooked up with Amy since he's since sold a house, pocketed and invested the money, gotten a nicely paid side gig with TLC and the farm, and continues to sell houses in the biggest real estate boom ever, can certainly retire. She's just poor-mouthing so Zach won't put out a hand asking her for "help," too.
  21. Exactly; Matt is severely physically disabled, obviously, which makes what he does somehow manage to do all the more amazing and admirable. My guess is he and Caryn have more of an intellectual/spiritual/emotional relationship than one based on physical prowess as evidenced by zooming around on motorcycles or jumping out of airplanes and I don't even want to know what else, a.k.a. "having adventures."
  22. Looks like Lilah is surviving on little bags of those veggie stick snacks from the way she's always carrying one around. It was tragic seeing her struggle with the big bowl of noodles while both parents sat across the table laughing at her. Bet that mess just got thrown out when it was all over! Maybe the crew is keeping her in Chris Craft catered food.
  23. He looks exactly like Matt (just as Lilah looks exactly like Amy, IMO). That's Tori's karma for spending her entire pregnancy with Si Si hating on her FIL. Elementary, dear Watson! No doubt why Tori married Zach. Oops!
  24. I honestly believe they don't - or didn't - understand that what Matt paid Amy was for only HALF the property, since he co-owned it. I honestly believe they think Amy owned it outright and what Matt paid was the appraised value of the property in its entirety. I also honestly believe they don't realize real estate value has doubled and tripled since that transaction took place. I honestly believe they're stupid... They reluctantly backpedaled and agreed to "probably" see her on Christmas Day AFTER they announced that they'd be spending the holiday alone and Amy visibly pouted about it. Probably afraid of losing their new go-to babysitting service...
  25. Matt really can't help it if a dose of reality "hurts, offends, and drives away" his entitled, delusional, unrealistic, spoiled, ungrateful son and his equally ridiculous wife. There's no "nice" way to tell them they're crazy if that's the case. Also, again, Matt's HOPE that one of them would one day take over the farm isn't synonymous with a PROMISE to "gift" it to them while he's still alive and needs money to live on. In spite of being 60 years old, at which point people should no longer have any concerns about finances, according to the Gospel of Zach.
