  1. Kareem finally goes 4 episodes past his expiration date. But does this mean Paul is now the weakest link??
  2. Jon'nae and Kareem have both been circling the drain so too bad it was not a double elimination. I can see producer manipulation to keep him in and am just waiting for the episode where Jessie interviews him and says "you have yet to win" and then like magic, he will win during the episode! So predictable....
  3. Having to incorporate a "whammy" ingredient was so Chopped-like. Someone should have picked Durian (a Chopped favorite) but maybe that market did not have it. And any Chopped viewer knows that when given candy, the chefs just make a sauce out of it so it's really not a sabotage ingredient.
  4. Stephanie is a great chef and I've eaten at one of her restaurants here in Chicago and the meal was excellent. But this is not Top Chef where you make a great plate of food - you have to embrace the randomizer and not just use one aspect of it a single time but multiple ways. Antonia understands this but several other chefs do not; embrace the randomizer not just make a token gesture. Getting rid of East and West brackets and past champions not competing does smack of producer manipulation. Whether that's for Jet, who knows but I suspect they will do whatever to make him a winner.
  5. The only definitive clue I could think of for 20th century: Fox's movie studio
  6. The editing this season pushed a home baker so no surprise who won. Using already made graham crackers is not very creative but yet you win? Even Natasha was throwing shade when she mentioned using graham crackers would be so easy to use. No wonder people think the winner is already determined.
  7. Thankfully they sent home Jonathan. Talk about a mercy killing as he appeared to be in way over his head with the challenges.
  8. Jonathan's team really needed a second character to bring home the story. And the one character they had was unfinished so that killed their chances and unless the other team really screwed up, they had it in the bag.
  9. The editing monkeys show Aaron's talents but also his entitled "attitude." Interesting edit if he ends up being the winner. Almost want him to win so we don't have to see him pop up on another baking show. LOL... And again, someone circling the drain (Hollie) manages to conveniently win right before the semis so the show can say she has legitimately earned a spot. Uh huh...
  10. I just saw the Mediterranean episode and was it really “blind” judging to have her co-host from Ciao House there? He knows her style of cooking and you could tell he figured out what dish was hers. It was such a gimme but funny how lately this season the third place finisher really screws up bad enough that it is really just a two person race. Hmmm…🤔
  11. For those complaining of too much gore and blood, I will take that any day with a deserving final 4/final 3 that is actually based on skill level instead of having a "sob story" like dealing with anxiety or coming out (and in the case of the last PR - I'm doing this for my dead sister").
  12. The host gives away who is leaving when meeting with the teams - teams that are staying get "Great job!" or "Well done!" while the bottom team gets a "Thank you" and you know they are toast. 😉
  13. Just saw the episode where Jose Garces lost. Anytime a judge keeps asking for more salt on everything and gives a tostada with little manipulation of the star ingredient a 19 is a joke pure and simple.
  14. Can they just re-name this Teen ANW and declare one of the teens the winner now? Damn you Drew for making everything about the show now teen focused (it's all about speed) so a teen is guaranteed to win and there will be no controversy with them. Sigh...
  15. The save was not used on Fabio because it will be used on Anna or Brittany so Korto can again rant about the BS judging. LOL. And besides, the outfit itself was worth the auf and he had been circling the drain for too long.
