  1. I think Maks' style works really well for someone like Meryl - someone who is a professional athlete but seems very level headed (unlike Hope Solo). I feel like someone that isn't used to the pressure cooker environment wouldn't respond - you kind of got the feeling Danica would be in tears the whole time working with him and heaven help him with Amy. As abrasive as he can come across, he was dead right about Abby Lee. She is the worst. I threw all my votes M/Ms way this week although it looks like Amy is going to win because she can do no wrong.
  2. Peta can not disguise her emotions, she looked like she was about to vomit all over the stage. Probably because she won't get to grind over James after they are eliminated. Amy killed it in her second dance...I'm just predisposed to side-eye her because of the kid gloves the judges are handling her with (through none of her own doing). I personally preferred Candace and Charlie...they generated more chemistry together than either did with their original partners.
  3. Not sure how to quote on an iPad, but..."The show is totally pushing Amy for the win. I think she's amazing but I vote for the best dancer. In this season, Meryl. Plus King Derek doesn't deserve yet another win." Yep, yep. Amy is an incredible story and I like her a lot but she is not the best dancer, and without Derek's admittedly incredible choreo, she'd be sunk. Abby Lee Miller is one frightful bitch. Each week I find Maks more and more attractive and I feel dirty about it. His face when his grandmother walked in was priceless. Smart choreo by sharna and Mark by utilizing the fact that Charlie can lift right along with the male pros. Candace and charlie had great chemistry! Surprised me a bit, since that tends to be the knock on him (was the big knock on him and Meryl).
  4. Oh goodness gracious. I knew when they casted Oliver Hudson that he'd potentially end up in bed with one of the leading ladies, but I assumed it'd be Rayna. Not sure where they're going to go with Scarlett's storyline now but I'm interested to find out. Her mom is insufferable but Scarlett made all of her bad decisions for herself. I still can't get over Juliette's shitty decision making.
  5. Peta comes across as looking very, very desperate. Not sure if it's the showmance angle the producers are playing up, or what have you, but all I see is her gyrating all over James and him being kind of meh about it. I normally have zero issue with her clothes, but seriously, that was a lingerie set. With they would kill the background dancers - I had a hard time picking out Meryl in the beginning there. I get that Charlie's paso wasn't technically perfect, but I loved the music, intensity and choreography. Glad to see Nene gone. I think its Amy's time to go next. The dances are only going to get harder from here.
  6. 1. I never understood the humor of HIMYM, and similarly Modern Family is so incredibly overrated. 2. I watched the first season of Breaking Bad and never had any desire to continue watching. Many people have told me how much better it gets, but I don't care enough to stick around and find out. 3. I can't get into any supernatural type shows, whether it be GoT, OUAT or something like Lost back in the day. 4. I don't mind soapy shows like Nashville - I love shows like Mad Men but sometimes it is exhausting having to analyze every single thing you see in an episode.
  7. I'm 26 and my friends and I quote this show all the time ("He's so pretty I could die!"). I don't think kids a few years younger than me would not get it. It's pretty timeless and always on re-runs. Besides the fashions, I feel like it has aged pretty well. It's not completely full of pop-culture references that kids wouldn't get or anything.
  8. Phoebe, in The One With Joey's Bag to her father about her mother. "I'm sorry, it was a one time thing. I was very drunk and it was somebody else's subconscious."
  9. I pretend the show ended around Season 8. The last two seasons were really bad, although I did like the finale (I got off the plane). The Joey/Rachel storyline is the perfect example of how stupid the last couple of seasons were. The characters were caricatures of themselves - especially Joey. It wasn't as funny anymore.
  10. Really too many to list. Someone already mentioned moo point. Here are some others. 15 Yemen Road, Yemen. PIVOT Fine, judge all you want to, but married a lesbian, left a man at the altar, fell in love with a gay ice dancer, threw a girl's wooden leg in a fire, LIVE IN A BOX! Gum would be perfection! Joey getting robbed and locked in the entertainment center. Chandler entered a Vanilla Ice look-alike contest and WON! Ross came fourth and CRIED! SEVEN! SEVEN! SEVEN! The One Where No One's Ready was on last night and I forgot what a great one that was. Could I be wearing any more clothes? So, I'm just checkin'. So let me know, or don't, whatever. I'm breezy.
