This felt like a partial remake of the SVU 911-call episode since Maggie's practically turning into Olivia Benson anyway. More Elise is OK with me. I still think she should be Scola's new partner.

I rooted for Margaret though I have nothing against the other 2. But tonight I'll be rooting for Rachael - who I've never seen before - because I can't stand Emily and Jonathan.
-
I'd have been happy for any of them to win but Neilesh might have the best shot at taking out James in Masters.

RIP Diesel. I've grown to enjoy this silly show as a change from the grim and nihilistic USA procedurals. I can't say much for the acting and writing but I like the characters anyway.

Good for Adriana - we'll have at least one woman in the finals. Nice that Will made FJ at the last minute even though it was hopeless.
-
Drew is hilarious - I hope he makes it to the finals. I don't like Will so I'm glad he didn't advance. Some people just bug me for no good reason.

I don't have any strong opinions about Adam either way but I hoped Jen or Paul would beat Will so I'm glad they're getting another chance. Drew and Joey are my favorites of this bunch and Will is my least favorite. I'd like to see Drew advance just to see him pitted against Drew Basile and how Ken would read the names.

I'm glad I didn't know anything about the episode in advance - I wisely muted a preview. That was arguably the best episode to date. Rose did a brilliant Nancy - and I'm glad they don't overuse Nancy. Alas, Richie had to sit out most of the show but he got his time to shine at the end. I wonder how many people thought the show was over and missed the brief tag scene? -
I didn't even notice that was Jubal's son until he mentioned it since the kid is so boring. With Jubal out who'll do the "listen up people" and "throw it up" shtick? They shook up the opening and cut to the dead body instead of the usual murder/rape/torture sequence. Since they referenced Hudson U the show must exist in the L&O universe. The perp was good but he looked kind of old.

Aiken was in two previous Law & Orders and two Criminal Intents and was the ill-fated son of Tom Hanks in Road to Perdition. Though he's 34 now the character was stated as being 24.

Rita didn't seem like the same character here - her lines could have been read by anybody. She was more fun on SVU.
-
She was easy to look at and not much more. She yanked the phone out of Kelly's hand and challenged Isobel. Did she know she was getting in the elevator with Roy? I thought the last guy who was partner-of-the-week was amusing but he belonged in a different show. Opening scenes are getting sleazier - save that stuff for Criminal Minds.

Second episode was no more exciting than the first. Nothing against anyone who likes it but I find it dull and lifeless. The tire shop guy has had about 3 lines so far and is the most interesting character. -
That was a surprise ending. Good for Will - I like quirky players but Tristan didn't do it for me this time.

Elise looked smokin' in that outfit - I wish they'd make her Scola's partner. She's more likeable and charismatic than sticks-in-the-mud Tiffany and Maggie. So was the crooked lady guard, for that matter.
