I admit to crying at the end of this series, with the 3 Queens gathered together & young Elizabeth in uniform, saluting her Elder self for her devoted service. I do not think we will see another Monarch like Elizabeth II for a long time.

Was this televised anywhere (on demand? streaming ?).
Yes, on CBS, and they gave a Lifetime Achievment award to Susan Lucci

Did not know where to put this, but Stephen Nichols gave a really emotional tribute to Tyler Christopher during the Daytime Emmy Awards. They showed a clip of when Tyler won for Best Actor several years ago & Tyler mentioned Stephan as one of the people who helped him in his career...

The scenes with Nicole & EJ were very emotional...I admit I had tears in my eyes when they spread their baby's ashes & then hung the ornament on the tree. Ari Zucker & Dan work well together & I have liked seeing the Nicole & EJ story as a married couple(again) slowly unfold.

The Theme of the day seemed to be "Men's Socks" :) Steph & Jada talking about men leaving their socks strewn around & then Jada mentioned that her Ex wore One sock, lol. Then Theresa & Alex discuss socks for some reason(they needed to hang them by the non-existent fireplace? lol) I did get a kick out of drunk Steph, more interesting than every-day Steph. Calling Harris "Harry" was funny. And how dumb is Brady as a Father?! Giving his son his Gold card to 'go wild with" to impress his girlfriend? Sheesh At least Brady admitted he was a terrible Teen son to Marlena.

I enjoyed the scene between Steve & Jada discussing her Father, Marcus. Steve being a concerned Dad of his daughter, Steph, was nice too.

Lol: Flynn Industries is the name of the shell company that Everett is investigating. I wonder if Billy Flynn had any in-put into that name? :)

Whoopi seems to have improved her 'style" recently. I really like the rasberry colored satin jacket she has on today & yesterday she had on a pretty blue jacket. She just looks more "alive" when not wearing her unattractive frumpy tops that looked like she just rolled out of bed.

Some lame Thanksgiving dinners & Everett is more & more annoying...he was so smug at Julie's house for dinner, just acts like he is part of the family. And I know Doug supposedly ran the Turkey Trot but couldnt they have him at least sitting at the table with everyone. I did chuckle when Julie said she thought she had met him before. Ava & Harris dont seem to be celebrating Thanksgiving. Arianne Zucker(Nicole) is breaking my heart with her portrayal of an emotionally broken woman. I hope Melinda pays for this somehow, she & that doctor are horrible people. I did enjoy that last scene of Nicole holding Eric's baby.

I just watched my favorite movie so far this Season: Holiday Road. It had humor, it had me in tears at the end, the characters were fun & each had an emotional back-story, the romance was low key & not the focus of the movie but the 2 Main leads did have chemistry. I recommend it.

A mention of Sami today: Hmmm. Not sure I understand why Eric wants to name the baby after his sister.

So, Rose's body is just going to float out to sea? I thought for sure her body would wash up on the rocks below the hotel & Lucien would find her & feel guilty. I agree that the scene of the execution was stomach turning & really did not belong in this other-wise 'romantic" drama. I am assuming there is another season since they left many story-lines dangling...

I also enjoyed "A Merry Scottish Christmas"...I always enjoy Lacey Chabert. She & Scott Wolfe did a good job portraying a brother & sister who had grown estranged. Instead of the usual Romance problems, the main problem was the Family & how they came back together: Sister, Brother & Mother. The Romances were low key & believable, I liked the actress who played Scott's wife. It kept my interest compared to many of the Christmas movies this year that seem boring & have the same romantic tropes every time.

I immediately thought of Rudyard Kipling & stuck with my answer, but then when the answer was revealed I was like "Ohhh, yea"

Well, at least Sloan was dubious, at first, of Melinda's plan...she wanted to do the right thing. And when the heck has the baby been fed?!

The 92 year old Grandma who was on today, was a Hoot! She solved the puzzles before her son(it was Family week) and the Final Puzzle was a stumper & out of the blue she came up with the answer! Pat was astounded :)

Joy gave Whoopi one of her coveted Lasagna, Whoopi was very excited but said her family would probably eat it all. Meanwhile, I dont think "you know who" ever got one of the coveted Joy lasagnas :)

Current Plots Discussion II: Discussing Today's Episode and Current Storylines
in Days Of Our Lives
Finally catching up with the week..I love seeing the flashbacks, but it makes me feel old...I remember the original cast members. Seeing all the ornaments on the Horton Christmas tree always makes me emotional and I had tears in my eyes when Doug was crying at the end...real tears, real emotions. The scenes with the 3 couples were nice too...Marlena/John, Kate/Roman, Patch/Kayla...love the flashbacks there too, John & Marlena with the "big hair". This show often disappoints me, but the shows about Family & Community keep me coming back.
