I can't remember where I heard this, but the scuttlebutt is bringing all of Bill Clinton's accusers to the debate was the son-in-law's brilliant idea.

Yes, I read that Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law wanted Bill Clinton's accusers to sit in the Family box!  He was denied by the men who run the Debate Commission.  And what do Jared&Ivanka think of all the Anti-Semitic remarks made by Trump fans?!

    CNN:

Watched (and was infuriated by) some moments of Situation Room this afternoon in which they dared suggest that both candidates engaged in vicious attacks last night. They then showed the clips that supposedly illustrated this, which, naturally, only contained vicious attacks by Trump upon Clinton--since these these were the only vicious attacks that occurred. But no, Wolf Blitzer can't say that. He has to maintain some sort of "equivalency" between them, like it's the 2016 campaign that's getting dirty, not Donald Trump. Gah.

Yes, I hate the 'false equivalency" that the media feels it needs to show...Trump was the one hurling hateful statements...Mrs. Clinton did a good job staying calm & composed

I watched the actual debates on C-SPAN (and was horrified to discover that the minutes of silence before the debates began were so startling to me - help me, I've become  a hapless void that must have my life filled with chatter or I don't exist) and the post-debate pundit blah-blah-blah on MSNBC. Because Maddow and Reid. I so wanted to high-five Maddow through my teevee when she said, as an aside to Wallace, that she can't get behind this "moral high ground" all the late Trump-Train jumpers are trying to hold. It is so transparent and such BS. Those who saw instantly what Trump was and refused to endorse him? Yeah, those people get to stake the high ground. I know, lots of spots left up there, but you do not get a site because you suddenly smacked your head like a V-8 commercial and realized your mistake. It may be petty and unprofessional, but it felt d*mn good to see a teevee pundit express pure disgust at this false "morality" of ditching Trump this late in the game.

Also, I cannot understand why the entire MSNBC panel seems so fascinated with KellyAnne Conway. I think they hope to break through her very plastic, Regina George persona and see if she'll cough up any real dirt. They brought her back live because they "couldn't figure out" what she meant when she said, "Of course I'll stick with Trump...unless..." Golly. I was soooooo sure one of the panel 'o pundits would be able to get her to say, "You broke me. I'm actually an alien spit up by one of the lions Trump Jr. shot and I learned to talk pretty and put on clown make up but...this is...is...too...much...." (cue split pea soup vomit).

I take it back - if they can produce this, then please proceed, MSNBC pundits...

Exactly!  WHY are folks acting like its something new with Trump that he's spouting vile remarks....he has been making vile remarks since he 1st started campaigning...when he insulted Sen.McCain for being a POW(my father was a WW2 POW) I was so incensed!  He has insulted everyone, even a Gold Star Family...why werent these Repubs outraged by that?!  Trump is a vile person & he had the gall to say Hillary had "hate in her heart"!?

Is it really possible, that Mike Pence is more disgusting than tRump?  There he sits, this so-called uber Christian, lying his ass off on national television, lied all through his debate.  All these men care about is holding on to their white privilege patriarchy.  Make America Great, again my ass.  Women folk barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen and a resurgence of Jim Crow is what these bastards want.

I live in Indiana and find our Governor to be a big hypocrite!  We went through all the controversy when he signed the bill that allowed 'religious" to discriminate against Gays.  He acts so Christian but only for people like him.

The minute he had A Zucker hug Donald Trump, the "just going along" excuse lost credibility, IMO.  That wasn't something Donald asked for.  That's something that he came up with and even got a hug for himself.  As I said in another thread, that to me was the bit about leaked audio/video that got to me the most.  The Trump in those vids wasn't shocking.  Even Billy laughing along didn't shock me because I have always felt he was smarmy but making her have physical contact with them both was just so gross to me.

And why the pearl clutching now?  I think a lot of people aren't surprised.  He has pretty much insulted everyone except for straight white men (unless they're a GOP official not backing him). But this is arguably the most lewd audio depicting his misogyny and that plays.  But another factor could likely be that the talk was about a married white woman.

NBC's part in this is curious.  The fact that Billy didn't remember this is either because he was so used to it that it didn't stand out, forgot he was on mic or was trying to protect himself. He doesn't strike me as the kind of guy to risk his career for his cousin's potential career.  But we are also left not entirely knowing what NBC would have done.  I don't remember the specifics so forgive me if I get them wrong but reportedly a producer at Access Hollywood suddenly remembered this conversation or the fact that they had Trump outtakes on Monday.  They started digging through them and NBC started planning a story that they claim wasn't going to air until after the debate but needed to get legal clearance.  Someone at NBC downloaded the video and leaked it to the Washington Post. WaPo called NBC to get a comment and that's when they learned they were about to be scooped.

But I've seen some skepticism that NBC had this but needed legal clearance. So maybe they were going to release it.  Or maybe not.

What was NBC waiting for?  Seems odd that it was 'leaked" to WaPo.  I'm glad to see Billy Bush suspended, hope he doesnt come back...I find him annoying & smarmy, trying too hard to be "cool"

Their FB page is blowing up with demands to fire Billy Bush, he obviously wasn't popular before today, now he's dead in the water. Two birds may have been killed with one stone, Trump and Billy. However, although I'm not a fan of the Bush family's politics, I'll admit Jenna grew on me for the more fun segments and sitting next to Hoda on Fridays. Hopefully, this won't blow back on her.

I enjoyed Jenna co-hosting with Hoda, she seemed to be having fun, Billy is just annoying(this morning with his Spanx routing & then dancing around with Hoda, how dumb) I say "Fire Billy Bush" and hire back his cousin Jenna Bush

Ooh. Kaine came prepared to talk about the Clinton Foundation. And he's turning the tables on the Trump foundation.

BOOM! Another major score for Kaine.

LOL, joke from Elaine. The question was about North Korea. She's not a great moderator.

Elaine is not a good moderator, too much talking over each other & interrupting each other...I'm starting to listen with just one ear...sigh

I realize the "James/Sharna are in jeopardy" claim was probably b.s. -- but it did succeed in making me more determined to vote for him and keep him on the show.

Oh Good Grief, I did not believe James/Sharna were in 'jeopardy"...TPTB just wanted to add to the drama.  I will keep voting for him

I have been loving Navarro since the RNC where she was the only Republican on the who wasn't on the Trump bandwagon. I'm don't agree with her views, but I love that she calls the Trump surrogates on their BS.

Ana Navarro even tweeted to Rosie O"Donnell a "hang in there" comment..I think Ana is disgusted by Trump

Savannah won't be going to Rio for the Olympics because she's expecting another baby!

So happy for Savannah & now Dylan, the weather gal, is expecting a baby too!

I also wondered why Savannah is working so much?  She filled in for Lester Holt several nights while he was preparing for the debate...why dont they have one of the other reporters like Kate Snow or Kristen Welker fill in for her?

So the episode does not end with getting the guy who did it?  I hate when they do that. Or is it a 2 parter.

It was frustrating, 20/20 acted like they had the 'answer" to Lauren's disappearance and yet the show ended and they still did not say who they thought did it.

Yeah, I was hoping the parents didn't see that part (though I'm sure they did) because it just came off as so heartless. A little hard to "move on" when your kid is missing, likely dead, and the circumstances are a huge cautionary tale for all students.

I'm not totally familiar with the details of the case, but it sure seems like her circle of male "friends" know more than they're letting on. Between her being in such bad shape from drugs/alcohol, having a heart condition, and hitting her head hard (did a face plant on the pavement without even putting her hands out to break the fall), I wonder whether she died "naturally" and they panicked, covered it up, and now it's too late to go back and change their story. She could also have been raped and one, or several, decided that they had to get rid of her body to hide the evidence.

Unless there are other factors involved, I do think it's odd that the police haven't released the multitude of surveillance videos they apparently have on file. If the parents are okay with it, what's the downside? In a similar case with Hannah Graham (hope I'm remembering her name correctly), putting the surveillance video out was what cracked the case.

I live in Indiana, and cant believe someone would say "its old news, move on"...sheesh, Lauren's parents need to Know what happened!  And I agree that those boys who were with her know more than they are letting on.
