  1. I enjoyed several scenes on today's show(Tuesday), altho Paulina is really annoying with her screeching & shrieking at people.  The scenes I enjoyed were Wendy & her brother, Li...they have a good sibling vibe & Li did have good advice for her.  I liked Gabi's mature discussion with Li about why they did not work out(at 1st I thought maybe Li was dreaming).  Jada was good today, I liked small but mighty Jada vs. Tall, cynical Sloan, Jada does not understand her sister defending Colin(I dont either).   Rafe & Eric exchanging dirty looks, given their shared histories with both Jada & Nicole.

    Did anyone watch today?

Between the Coronation & the KY Derby, I saw lots of Fabulous Hats :)  But, with the deaths of 7 horses in the weeks leading up to the Race, it cast a shadow over everything.

Yes, it was good to see Joy back, it was funny she brought statues of "David" with stickers over his private parts

As soon as the analyst perked up, I knew that the news of Katherine leaving would lead to the stock price rising, but it was still a good episode.  I hope it's not the final episode ever, but if it is, it ended on a good note.

Yes, it did seem like a 'wrap-up" episode, with the Pika being a success, but if it comes back, they could continue with all the goings on in the office...

  6. That was a wacky episode, for sure!  Rafe hugging Duke was hysterical.  And then Johnny was so loopy & just full of eagerness to marry Chanel.  Eric thinking he was in a priest uniform was funny & Nicole asking Eric if he had to talk to the Pope about taking it off.  Nicole calling Sloan "Sloany-Baloney" is always funny.  I am very interested in what Talia's motive is for poisoning the biscuits?  Maybe that is why she is Not a doctor right now, maybe she poisoned patients at a Hospital, Chanel did not do a good job vetting Talia before hiring her.   The Hallucinations shook things up & moved some characters around, which makes for good storylines.

  7. Gag!  Hope & Harris smooching just made me shudder.  They have no chemistry.  I did like Maggie shooting down Alex & his big "surprise", and that Greek policeman seems very cavalier about selling those prisms to whoever offers the most money.  I'm getting a kick out of Kayla figuring out a way to get out of that cabin.  Meanwhile, the ending was the best part of the show...  To my Fellow Posters:  enjoy a lovely & peaceful Holiday weekend!

I'm glad this show has been renewed until it's 60th anniversary, but it got me thinking about the end and how emotional that will ultimately be for some of us.

So here's my non-DAYS-specific question: What "endings" have made you the most emotional? Whether the end of a film franchise or TV series or book or comic series or video game, or maybe a stage show or musical ending for good, or the closing of a theme park or retirement of a talk show host you watched weekly or daily...any of the above.

I can honestly say I was wrecked by the end of Another World in 1999. After a rough (but compared to DOOL these days, perfectly acceptable) final year, those last few episodes where they resolved plotlines and brought back some familiar faces? Ooof, that was great and hard. It just got itself back into tip-top shape as the curtain was coming down.

Did anyone else watch those last days? With Frankie's ghost revisiting Cass and wishing him a happy marriage to Lila, and then cradling young Charlie in her arms? Man oh man. So needed and so moving. And Carl turning up alive on the beach, to Rachel's astonishment? And Marley getting released and finding love with her lawyer, Tyrone? And being forgiven? And CINDY being forgiven by Paulina?! Come on...

...dangit, getting misty again. Yeah, I loved that show. Saying goodbye was so hard.

I was in tears over the end of "This is Us"...I was so invested in the characters  & could relate to storylines(Like losing a parent when just a kid), I was not ready to lose that connection..I have not found another show that moves me as much...

  9. DisneyBoy:  Steve Burton was fired from GH for refusing to get the Covid Vaccine that was required of all GH employees...which makes me go "Hmmm", also I think his acting is so wooden, I just cant get into his character.   I, too, enjoy Drake's acting, I noticed his hand on Brady's back..Drake is good in his scenes with family members.  And I agree about Deidre...she used to be more animated in her acting.
