  1. She's just so tiny. She would look much better if she gained some weight. I didn't think his body was so attractive. Maybe because I don't find him attractive in the least. Sorry, Mark. I like you but you just aren't appealing to me. There seems to be an incessant amount of smiling on this show. I know, it's supposed to be an upbeat morning show, but sometimes it's just too much. I wonder how these two don't get on each other's nerves since they are together 24-7. It would drive me nuts being glued to my partner around the clock.
  2. When I watch, I only watch the first part with the game/spin-the-wheel trip thing. I'm glad the questions are a little harder recently; I think many times the person selected is just able to look up the answer on Google. In other words, cheated. For me, it was unwatchable. I heard Cher was going to be on so I tuned in. Why could Kelly not keep her mouth shut? I wanted to hear Cher's stories, from HER, but instead here was Kelly, finishing her thoughts and sentences. Not only that, she blabbed the punchline to stories Cher was telling us! I think it was very important to Kelly to have Cher know she read her book. That was NOT a good interview. Cher was very gracious, however.
  3. It's getting harder to listen to Hot Topics because everyone is interrupting everyone else. I cannot hear two or three people talking at the same time. I understand they are passionate about their beliefs, but it's frustrating to have someone start with their opinion and then three others are on top of them. I'm interested in everyone's opinion, but not like this. I notice Anna loves the one-liners, hoping that it resonates with someone or other.
  4. Many of Trump's voters are tuned into FOX, etc. where they hear a barrage of falsehoods about the current administration. They believe that Biden is at fault for the price of milk and eggs, because that is what they are told. They are hurting financially, barely breaking even and never getting ahead. They are hoping Trump will come to their rescue and reverse everything. Truth is, Trump doesn't care about their issues. Voting for Trump is only going to make things way worse. And yes, the price of groceries, gas, homes, etc. are not going to ever be substantially lower.
  5. Yup. Trump voters only cared about the economy, the fact that their eggs cost more then they did four years ago. They aren't looking at the big picture. They are in for a very rude awakening. Not only are food prices going to go up even higher with the undocumented workers being sent back to their home countries, but Trump's tariff's plans are also going to increase the cost of living. Then who knows what will happen with SS, Medicare/health insurance? Trump will blame the Democrats, and his voters will believe every word of it. I think she was talking to the majority of Americans who voted for Trump. I agree with her.
  6. Joan must love the bad boys. Pascal probably was the guy who rang her bell. Exciting, wealthy, adventurous, handsome and a full life. She probably was going to pick him, but when he bowed out she fell apart. I mean that seemed to really rock her. So she had to pick someone; and that someone was boring as-a-glass-of-flat-7-up Chock. There is no way she is "in love" with this guy. It makes me sick too. Joan probably feels the same way. How can she be passionate about Chock? How can anyone be passionate about Chock? I can't imagine if I had to go through that.
  7. I don't think it will last. First you have the distance issue. Chock seems like a horny little dude, he's going to want to be with Joan all the time. That's going to create problems down the road. Then, how is she going to be able to fully commit to this? She has so much guilt within her for "betraying" John, can she really marry this guy? Does she really love him? Could she grow to love him in time? Probably not. He's infatuated right now, but how long is he going to feel that way? They just don't know each other, at all. It's not like they are in their twenties; things get complicated as people get older.
  8. Something else that started to be very irritating to me. Joan had a habit of opening her mouth as wide as she could for any reason. Seeing someone, anyone, it was like a "I'm so surprised to see you!" mouth. But her eyes remained dead. She's not ready for this. Why did she even agree to do this show in the first place, I wonder. From deep grieving, to "hey, let's do a TV show all about falling in love!" And it didn't work with Gerry to completion, so she had more time to think about it, but still, "I'm in!!!" with the new show.
  9. You're kidding. Now that Chock won the big prize, he can feel more relaxed about letting go and telling her to knock it off. GET A CLUE, JOAN. No one wants to hear about your departed spouse anymore, no matter how kind they are. Go and live your live and stop your whining. I have lost a husband too, it's hard, but you have to stop this incessant moping and dreaming about what could have been. That part of your life is over. Get some grief counseling, and don't compare Chock with your husband. That's probably coming. Hopefully, at 61 years old you know better. How long was this whole ordeal? Chock fell, hopelessly, helplessly, crazily in love with someone in a short time (is it a few weeks?) I don't believe that. - and now he is willing to buy an apartment with Joan and have a long-distance relationship. It ain't gonna work. Besides, I didn't see Joan falling head over heels with Chock. It's just a show and she had to pick someone.
  10. I think that's lovely, I would always love to spend time with my parents. I think that it's different for Joan - doesn't she want her whole family gathering with her every Sunday, adult kids and grandkids? That's too much, no matter how close they are. Personally, if my grandkids were older, I'd feel guilty for taking them away from their own weekend activities and friends every week.
  11. Don't her adult children have lives of their own? Working adults have so little free time as it is and having to have a standing obligatory WEEKLY dinner every Sunday with Mom is a bit much. Maybe once a month, but not weekly.
  12. I'm dying to see Joan do something different with her hair. This look she has, it's a look everyone seems to have. It's just a copy-cat version. If she would put it up, it would look so pretty. Actually, I would love to have her pull her hair back in a bouncy pony tail. She's just following the trend; do something new. After all, she's got a whole team behind her who can give her an upgrade.
  13. When these guys are talking to Joan, their faces so open, trusting and loving, I would expect some reciprocation from Joan. It looks like she doesn't feel anything at all. Her eyes don't have any sparkle, love, (or like for that matter), connection. She just stares and says all the right things. Once in a great while perhaps a small smile. It's odd, if I were one of the guys I'd think to myself, I'd better back off. She's sending signals of disgust/hate/annoyance/whatever towards me. But they just act like they don't see any of that. Joan is so wrapped up in her prior life and she is no where near entering a new relationship. I liked Pascal the best. I didn't at first, but now I see a genuine, feeling, kind person in there. I wish he was chosen. The other two just don't have much pizzazz; they're not interesting to me. Chock would be the worst pick imaginable, after having all these great guys participating. And Joan is so devastated that Pascal left. Maybe she felt all along the other two were never her top choices, but of course she had to narrow the choices down to play the game. Maybe it was Pascal all along. That would create tears and loss. She played the game and might end up with Chock, who really was never a big contender in the first place. So instead of her beloved John, she ends up with this guy. Can't stand him.
  14. I used to love watching his shows back in the beginning. Eventually, things changed. More recently the topics changed to news stories, which was never what his show was about. And then, what really did it was his inserting/advertising his and his families goods into the end of his shows. I tried to not make a big deal of it. But it kept happening. His books, Robin's stuff, his Fil in the Blank stuff, his platforms. It's all about money, folks. Even in the Trump rally at MSG, he had to insert his platform in there to get more traction. HE HAS NO SCRUPLES. That wasn't the time to advertise yourself, Phil. I no longer respect his views, his attitude and his opinions. I never dreamed that his focus would move from helping other people to making as much money as he could. He sold out. I wonder how Oprah feels about this clown now. Oh, as a side note - what mom practically breaks down at the mere mention of her adult kids? Man, I love mine but I don't cry every time someone brings them up.
  15. This is one reason the guys are all madly in love with her. They aren't used to someone who agrees and hangs on every word they say. Right. A lot of women at that age may not look like that. So they grabbed Joan, put on lots of makeup, did the hair, and done. She already has the great figure. I'm surprised, though, that a lot of what she wears shows so much skin. A little more arm coverage is not going to turn anyone off. I wouldn't want my arms to show like that. But that's just me.
