I binge-watched this show yesterday. Donny may be a bit of a sad-sack, but I find he did have some redeeming qualities. The very end is a bit of a shocker and reveals some more of his humanity in why he was originally drawn to Martha as someone who needed sympathy from the start. I found it compelling.

I love the premise of this show. Being older myself, I wonder how I would fare in a competitive dating situation. Are they going cheap for The Golden Bachelor? Dinner at a diner? Not even a sandwich - just fries and a milkshake? Also, I think Gerry wears a toupee, and you could really tell from the side shots at the Rose Ceremony. I thought he did, then they had a scene in the Corvette where you could see the back of his hair blowing up in the wind, and then at the Rose Ceremony, again, it was quite obvious. I think they had a stand-in for the "wind in the hair" shot because it wasn't the same color. I had to watch it a few times. I do hope they will have a Golden Bachelorette.

I just can't with that messy house. This is another one that looked like an episode of 600 lb. Life and Hoarders wrapped in one.

Meghan's reaction was incredible when Tina told her she and Jon would have to get their own place. Instead of being grateful for the time Tina let her stay, she whined that "she was family, too", and 'she never thought her best friend would turn on her", and that they were going to end up homeless. Deep down, I'm thinking that Meghan would be homeless just so she could show everyone how "heartless" Tina is by not letting her and Jon stay.
