  1. IIRC, when the Silas-Nina reunion was going on, Alexis told Molly to take Danny to Kellys, and they'd all meet up there. So I figured that Julian was with them.
  2. There are some times that I really like Ava, and today was one of them. I loved how she went toe to toe with the slagbeast and didn't blink. I loved how she called her "your feral ex-wife" to Sonny. And I would love to see a summer of Carly looking over her shoulder and jumping at every sound. I also loved the last scene: Sonny you idiot -- you're taking Ava home with you? The manipulation has already begun. Neither you nor Carly have either the brains or foresight to deal with Ava. I love it.
  3. I think this is what rankles. I imagine that most people here have a work ethic that involves showing up and doing one's job, even if it may not be one's dream job. I think there are a lot of people who have watched his "work" and cannot figure out how he continues to keep his job. Including me. YMMV, though.
  4. When Zachary Garred first came on the show, I looked for pictures of him to see if his hair was real or a wig. As far as I can tell, that is his real hair, but something has been done to it to make it look more wig-like (why, why?). I think it's that pageboy style that makes it look so false. If you're interested, here's a link to his photo gallery at IMDB. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1687624/mediaindex?ref_=nm_phs_md_sm What I can't understand, however, is his motivation for being in PC. If he'd started eating the cornbread and mac and cheese once he was alone today, then at least we'd have known he was a phony. (But, of course, that would be showing rather than telling, so . . . . TFGH.)
  5. Oh, absolutely. After we got through three or four segments of conversation and she was still in the wheelchair, I started thinking that she definitely could walk.
  6. I think we're due several tocks.
  7. I know, and it just ticked me off that it reared its ugly head again. And I'll say the same thing now that I said then: Why not have a story where the girl is attacked, but fights back and escapes? Bookish Molly (and that's not a slam at all) could be just the person to do it: she could have read about self defense and how to fight back, remembered it, and put it into practice. The rest of the story could play out the same -- finding out who the attacker was, prosecution, etc. This irritates me because it's yet another back from the dead story. I'm tired that this seems to be the only way to "honor GH history." And, if memory serves, his murder was really good -- all the creepy Que Sera Sera stuff and finding him dead on the floor with no one around. If I'm remembering the right story, it's just a damn shame that all of that has to be forgotten. Why can't Tuc just be brought back in a different role? Oh wait. That would require original thought. How the heck did Rafe get a car?
  8. Over on IMDB, a regular has posted a whole list of summer story spoilers. If you want to get a little rage-y, then you might want to look for the thread titled "RUMOR: The Veil is Lifted! My Rumor Threads Are Back! " here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0056758/board/threads/. There are too many for me to post here, and besides that, I'm just too irritated at some of them to say much else right now. But I will add this caveat: the person who posted these has roughly a 35% accuracy rate, according to someone else on the IMDB site who angrily keeps track of such things. So happy to have a home here.
  9. In the GH in my head, since there are only one or two patients in the hospital on any given day, the older nurses and doctors at General Hospital probably sit in the hospital cafeteria and chat about when they first worked there -- when they had patients to treat, problems to solve, and linen closets to make out in. Inevitably names get mentioned as stories are told, so the younger staff has learned the names, probably because Epiphany forced them to do so.
  10. Silas: "Let me know when it gets too disgusting." Me: It already has.
  11. Apparently in Ron's universe, not acknowledging the elephant in the room is the same thing as creating a totally surprising plot twist. That's all I can get from the great "AJ" mystery. Since nobody in town ever thought that the letters could implicate someone else, the viewers couldn't possibly think so either. Maybe 1% of viewers didn't scream themselves hoarse yelling at their TVs and were truly surprised, but that was probably because they'd just awakened from comas or were thawing out after being cryogenically frozen. If Fluke is not Bill Eckert, then I don't think RC knows who he is either. He's demonstrated over and over that he can't write real suspense, just heavy-handed misdirects that are often motivated by the desire to give someone the finger.
  12. I'll throw one more name into the mix: Has anyone ever seen Rafe and FauxLuke in the same room together?
  13. That CoeCoe set might have been what was left of Robert Scorpio's apartment. I remember he had stairs like that.
  14. If you insist on watching, then come on out to the barge afterward. Happy Hour will feature Nina Coladas with double (or triple -- your choice) shots of rum.
  15. I liked Liz's dress, although I think the back (or absence of it) outshone the front. I don't know if BH truly designed that dress, but I thought it was a nice reference to reality. She's made a lot of her Emmy dresses herself.
