  1. Just watched the Aus S2, it's absolutely fascinating
  2. I knew Matt Heath as a contestant on season 2 of Taskmaster NZ where he was really fun. but that was all. what i figure is they obviously knew how many Traitors there was, and that when you come down to one you don't have a choice. UK had an "Ultimatum" like that, but they didn't use the word "blackmail". probably should have done this in one post 🤣 I saw the writing by Sam also, i figured this was the producer giving us a wink to Brooke previously saying he was watching other players motion when writing names at banishment
  3. just finished it, same as LakeGal on Crave. it was enjoyable, but it did show some of the trouble of people playing the game who obviously knew it, i assume they would have had access at least to the Australian version prior to playing. It will be interesting to see how seasons 2 in other countries go, and how production adapts.
  4. having now gone through the 3 series, and having truly enjoyed all of them, The Australian one was definitely a better product all around, but i can't rate the UK higher than the US because of some major issue in the production. Though the US has the major issue of having half contestants being Reality players, the UK one had some major events that i took issue how they were handled. First Nicky becoming "suspect" due to the ableism of the production crew- literally she became suspect because they put her water glass on her amputee side. Next the failure to address bullying by John, and to a lesser degree Kieran; as well as to brushing off the mental states of some of the contestant, Aaron's panic attack was hard to watch. At least credit to Claudia for stepping in, later in the game. I also question to selection team in their choices of Traitors. To be honest Amanda seem to be the only one that was equipped to handle it- actually this is one major success of the Australian production, they had candidates that came to play not just produce over the top TV. again i enjoyed watching all of them, and the UK did nail the not faking that people were sleeping at the castle, but whereas i have rewatched the Oz game, same as I rewatch the Mole once spoiled, I don't think i'll ever rewatch the other 2 versions.
  5. Who's Paul? honestly when he appeared half way through I had no idea who that was.
  6. just rewatched the first couple episode see if there was any hint of how it would unfold, was surprised that Liz had more presence than i remembered, mainly as Shonee's BFE, but one thing i didn't see, and curious if that ever came later, "What made her a villain?" Being on Olympic athlete? being an immigrant? Being Russian ? I know the newbie "villains" were based on stereotypes "real estate agent" "new anchor" or minor events "miss Australia supposedly pushing miss Greece", but i don't even know what part of Liz was supposed to be Villainous. Had they stated she was cast as a Villain for having a b%^&$ pout at least that would have explained the casting, but that was Shonee's comment not the producers.
  7. third scenario: what we are shown on Camera is not how it happens a TC. If Jeff picks anti-climatic vote at wrong time he just would put it back in without reading out loud, he always reads before showing, and that is edited out. I still think your first scenario is still the easiest, put all votes per person together, sticky notes which is which- Director tells Jeff if a) do this, if b) that, c) .... . Survivor Franchise has hundreds of TC by now, they have perfected by now
  8. not sure what else the editors could do. They did an awesome compelling job with what they were given. we ended with 3 finalist who just rode their golden tickets to the end. Again the only one who really faced game adversity is Gerry early on. Liz would have been better doing the idol play to save Flick as a power move than her trademark Pout Face. and Matt is a lifeguard. honesty that's all i know about him.
  9. agree, but this time production might have also faced the issue that the other 3 final-4 brought no good TV at all. None of them have played any games other than "maybe we should vote George....... nah!" Liz has one move all season, forcing George to vote Stevie instead of Flick who was never aligning with them.
  10. i get it. in any other incarnation i would be rooting against George, but the other 3 have not even played any aspect of the game. I didn't even see them try the interpersonal game with any of the jury members. to me the only one that did anything was Gerry when he was switched-voted. something i never expected to think in the first half is i wish Simon was still around.
  11. problem is i don't want Liz to win has has been riding the Shonee and George bandwagon. She was again totally outplayed in last episode. Kudos to George to "reverse" and show Gerry, "see i listened to you and voted like you told me", the guy sure knows how to play people. I still think George is wrong, and Simon votes for him
  12. "Flipping on George is a possibility"-Gerry Seriously, what do you think this game is about. I liked Gerry's storyline at first surviving the vote out of the tribe, playing with what he was given, but Nina was so right calling them out for just riding the chance to finish second and third to George. If George doesn't make it to final 3, not sure i'll be satisfied with any winner, but that's Survivor. Only one who actually played a bit is probably Matt because he knew he was liked by his old Heroes. If George makes it to final 3, i think it will be interesting because I think his call on Simon is wrong, but as we know these jury vote can go anywhere.
  13. Stockholm syndrome 🤪 i think George deserves credit for who he kept.
  14. not sure if Jury Villa video is spoiler so in case
  15. i didn't find any contestant redeeming in the finale. i even started disliking the Mole who i liked most of the season. but at least they Moled.
