Are there any nice people on this show?

    • Beth can't be pleasant to anyone who isn't Rip or her dad
      • Firing the assistant off the bat for no reason - I agree with those who say that when she told him to close the door he should have said, "I don't work for you - shut the f'ing door yourself"
      • I was glad to see Beth a little flummoxed by the scope of the project - Guess you aren't always the snottiest person in the room, Beth
      • Beth seems to think being governor is like being a dictator. Plus, isn't her helping a conflict of interest?
    • John decides to run for governor just to keep Jamie from doing it. What about that makes sense? John's whole thing is "don't change unless it benefits me". Will the rest of the state care that much about his turf?
      • Can't believe the affair with the governor won't bite him (and her) in the butt
    • Governor - way to sandbag Jamie! Who does that kind of thing as a professional?
    • Jamie's bio dad - just awful
    • Rip - good to see him finally treating the kid like a human being, not a dog (and he hates dogs!)

This family has a lot in common with the Roy family on HBO’s “Succession”…all awful.

It just occurred to me that we are indeed watching the spinoff with Jimmy - it's happening right in the midst of Yellowstone.  The spinoff is getting the same ratings as its parent show.  I guess the joke's on us.

I, too, thought we were done with Laramie (all this time, and I finally realized that was her name).  I'd like for both her and Walker to hit the road.

I kind of liked it when Lloyd smashed Walker's guitar...reminded me of John Belushi in Animal House when he smashed Stephen Bishop's guitar when Bishop was singing "I Gave My Love a Cherry" on the stairs of the Fraternity House during the Toga party...LOL!

Yes, I think she did mumble something about her previous assistants being killed.  However, she just couldn't be nice about it and explain why she was firing him.   She just had to throw out an f-bomb at him.  Being "decent" is just not in her DNA and she's a sad mess.

I was more upset at the way she spoke to the boy...the way she used the F bombs at him when he came with flowers to apologize...geez...can't she let down her guard for one moment and just be a decent human being?

Jimmy must be a stand-in for some relative of Sheridan's, his father, uncle or brother, and Sheridan is telling his story. Jimmy is not that compelling a character otherwise, so why waste time on him.

Laramie should not be in the damned bunkhouse again! Teeter I understand, because she's branded, but Laramie is just an agitator and that fight between Lloyd and Walker was as much her fault as anyone's.

Yeah...I agree about the whole Jimmy storyline. This whole Four Sixes humongous cattle ranch thing is definitely some sort of Taylor Sheridan narrative. He certainly has inserted himself into a lot of scenes this season. Could it be the writers have been too busy trying to get a Taylor Sheridan scene into every episode this season they forgot to tie up loose ends with Laramie/Walker? She was tossed out but she's back in? Huh? Sloppy writing and editing.

I suspect the Charleston area couple were looking for a right now house, not a forever house.    Either they're planning on building equity, looking at where they really want to live, and have a house for now.     Or maybe they intend to stay, start their family, get more experience for him, and then they move on to a higher paying position.   They might have picked the house for a good resale location.

The are only two ways that I think the wood floors are dangerous, one is if you have mats or area rugs and the edge trips you (I know someone who broke her shoulders - one at a time, about a year apart, and claims she tripped on the edge of the area rug, the first time, and a runner the second), the second is if you run around in socks, and slip on the stairs, or the floor.

I watched this episode on demand and it was cut off before I could see which house they had chosen...so which one did they choose?

Yeah, does dated mean antiques? He was so annoying. I’m sure he realizes it won’t go with the rest of the stuff or style of the house. The first room they saw in one of the houses was planned to be an office but the wife appeasing the husband said he could put the stuff in that room. Basically, it was to shut him up. LOL!!!!! There aren’t many guys attached to old furniture that make such a stink over it. Then he wanted his grandmothers dinning room table in the house, too. Sorry, but it was old and ugly. I suggest one small thing to keep and treasure and sell the rest. It’s time to let it go.

Agreed...when my in laws both passed away several years ago, father in law passed first and two years later mother in law passed, my husband, his brother and my oldest son cleaned out the house and gave away a lot to charity and then divided up the furniture, etc. My son wanted some furniture to fill up a room that was empty in the house he and his wife had just bought. My brother in law gave the dining room set to one of his daughters and the rest was given away. A few knick knack things we took. Most of their stuff wasn't really our style and wouldn't have worked in our home...unlike this husband, we realized that and didn't cling to these things and make it the focal point of a house hunt!

Hahahaha!  If the Dubrows gave away one dollar don't you think they would be bragging from the rooftops about it.?  These are not the people to quietly write checks.  Maybe host a big party that cost more than they raised... but even then the Dubrows would make it a three episode event.

OMG! He was so annoying! Those "antiques" just looked like dated old furniture that for the most part was in bad condition. He seemed to be obsessing on them...I don't think I could handle that for more than 10 minutes let alone to live with full time. Grandma furniture that isn't family friendly nor comfortable but for some reason he had an attachment to the furniture that bordered on being unhealthy.

It’s only 36 thousand dollars.  Chump change.

Right? After all the crap we've been through the last couple of years with some of us having a lot of hardships including job losses, businesses lost, bank accounts drained just to pay bills...it just makes me pissed off to see poeple like Heather and Terry flaunting themselves inside their massive home that looks like a high end Hyatt Hotel...the fact that she could lay down $36,000 for a sushi dinner and then end it abruptly before most had even eaten anything is something that I think most of us on here cannot possibly make sense of. I don't envy them or even want to live like them...they just disgust me.

Shannon’s face looks so bloated and overdone and the long hair doesn’t help. All that alcohol and hypochondria is starting to really show on her.

I used to like Heather but when she claimed to not know how many rooms are in her house, she completely lost me. The pretentiousness is just too much.

Gina should invest in some good undergarments. She always looks lumpy.

I was thinking thesame thing about Gina...she isn't athletic and doesn't have good build. Some Spanx might do the trick.

Adding one more thing.  What about the long blonde mops to the waist that most have, like Shannon for instance.  That look is outdated already.  Shannon walking down the hall with that mop hanging down to her waist looked hilarious.  Her high heels, about six inches were shaking side to side.  Get a decent haircut already.  That stringy look is too young for her.  Her face is another story too.  All lopsided.  Heather too.  The high fake pony tail.  Ugh.  Overly botoxed, long stringy hair, botched up faces, boobs hanging out. WTF?

YES! I was thinking the same about Shannon...that short dress and high heels with the extensions down to her waist...OMG! You're in your 50's...not in your 20's...dress appropriately and you would actually look younger and better. Get a nice blunt bob cut and quit with the dated extensions. I swear, the OC is just trapped in a time warp of women in their 40's and 50's trying so hard to look like the 20 year old from the 80's. And Nicole's "dress" was totally inappropriate for a ladies dinner...I really don't know where that dress would be appropriate except at the Playboy Mansion if Hef was still alive.

  11. Couple of things about this show...as others have also pointed out, it is clear that most of the drama so far seems contrived and manufactured...it appears to be heavily scripted with each "wife" having a specific "role" to play. Nothing seems organic or real at all. It almost as if the producers decided to throw anything out there just to see if it sticks. It's insulting to the viewer...we're not as dumb as they think we are. We actually can determine something is fake especially when it's so blatant.

Having said that...a few observations...Heather makes me want to vomit. Her holier than thou "disciplining' of Gina and Shannon was vomit worthy. Terry looked like an asshole. What was with his outfit? He looked like some old guy trying too hard to look like 30 year old...the all black, the leather jacket and boots...give me a break. He almost looked like he had been cruising a gay bar in West Hollywood. The smoochy smoochy stuff between him and Heather was almost funny. Their vacuous display of their wealth is nauseating. Also, if Heather and Nicole have been friends for a number of years and Terry didn't know anything about it then it just seems unbelievable to me. The fact that Heather did not know Nicole brought a lawsuit against Terry when Shannon knows and other people know seems unlikely. All fake stuff.

Finally, I guess it's an "OC thing for women to put their boobies on full display at every social function...good grief!

It’s odd that Heather doesn’t know that Nicole sued Terry. Wouldn’t you remember even if it was 16 years ago?

It's all bullshit. This show is so heavily scripted it's ridiculous. There is nothing true or "real" about this show.

All that space, huge rooms and the HW's are sitting in a tiny seating area that does not look comfortable.  On the bright side, the camera men have plenty of space to do their thing.

I still don't understand why Heather is shutting things down instead of asking Shannon to leave her house, again.

Heather is a pretentious drama queen and that is clearly the role she has been tasked with. Everyone got a role to play in this scripted mess of a show...Heather was an actress at one time so this comes naturally to her.

I think Mac said 'colored' out of complete ignorance.   She is very dim, but I don't think she's a nasty person, like Amber or Kail are.  There has to be more to it, on both sides.  Whatever happened,  don't these grown ass women have a bunch of children to raise, rather than feed a beef with each other?

I agree…I think Mac isn’t very sophisticated or worldly. Honestly she probably has had very little one on one with people of color…Oklahoma isn’t exactly known for having a large population of diverse people.

Absoloutely...but she did apologize...maybe it was clumsy and not very polished, but the other girls jumped on it and it spiraled out of control. I hate it when women form these strange alliances and beat up on the weaker one. If anyione deserves shunning it's Amber...Maci just seems like a bit of a bully to me.

I did notice that but I thought it might be because Mac didn't do that "family reunion" show, which btw thanks for warning MTV I will be taking TM off my DVR.  Or maybe she did, I honestly didn't pay that much attention.  If the other TMs don't want to be around Mac I'm thinking that probably has more to do with Josh than with Mac.

I reada piece on what's going on with these fine ladies...Maci, Amber, Cate and Cheyenne are apparently a clique now. Mac called them mean girls and but only after trying to patch things up with Cheyenne and was rebuked...the other girls took some potshots at her and started shunning her. From what I read, Maci was one of the main bullies.....surprise, surprise right? Another reason to dump this show and TM2.

Right? Amber who just stomps off the set when one thing makes her mad is a mentor? Anyone notice when they brought the TMs back to the couch the only one not on the couch was Mac? Apparently the other TMs can't stand her and would not sit with her...actually I think they did Mac a favor.

  17. Well...that was an hour I will never get back. What a waste of time. The fact that they decided to piggyback that awful Young and Pregnant show onto the TM reunion shows says alot about both franchises. Y&P probably has the trashiest teen moms yet...yikes! It's time to put all these Teen Mom shows to bed...stick a fork in them and move on...bringing Farrah back to plug the Teen Mom Reunion party or whatever the hell it is just speaks volumes.

From the second Maci appeared I thought she'd probably already had a couple of drinks.

Mackenzie doesn't get it, as usual.  People haven't been against your relationship because they're mean or are haters.  They've been against it because of the toxic environment it created for your kids.  Go back and watch the emotional abuse and instability your kids experienced because of the way you two managed your relationship,  it's tragic.  There is a direct connection between that and the trouble your kids are having now.  You two shielded none of that turmoil from them.  So yes, it would have been better for them to have not experienced that.  It was like she was trying to spin it as if the relationship was troubled because of people on SM.  And I think she might even believe it herself.  Nope, you two messed that up before MTV even came back.  If you want people to be for you, then grow up already.

    Amen to everything you said!

  20. Each episode I loathe this family more than the last episode. They're all awful. Logan is an evil, sadistic SOB. The kids have no empathy and play headgames with each other, their spouses and significant others. They are all incapable of giving or receiving love. They are bereft of compassion or any kind of humanly care or concern. Totally driven by power and greed. Great job Mom and Dad!

I didn't feel bad for Rip because he should have thrown those buckle bunnies out a long time ago.  I will never understand why he and John let them stay there in the first place.  Surely they knew at some point there would be a fight between any of the guys over two women.   It was John himself who said he didn't want an attractive woman working with the men because there'd be trouble, so why let the buckle bunnies stay there?   At least Teeter fit in and was, you know, working.  She didn't deserve to be let go and I was hoping she'd take a swing at Laramie and knock her ass out.

And speaking of dumb ass Laramie, she could have killed Walker when she pulled that knife out of his chest.

Oh well, at least Walker and Lloyd survived.

I, too, don't understand why Carter wants to be like John.

I am not looking forward to more of f-bomb throwing, hot mess Beth.  I'd rather Jamie work with Silver Hair instead of Beth.

I think the whole Buckle Bunny thing was ridiculous...I don't think any reputable working ranch with a payroll like the Dutton Ranch would allow two barrel riders to shack up with a group of working cowboys for an extended period of time. On a real ranch like this Rip would have been called out by the ranch owner for allowing that to remain for such a lengthy time.

Also, why was the medical emergency being done in the bunkhouse with everyone hovering around yelling and creating a unsanitary environment? Why wasn't he taken into the RV that Walker lived in? And yes, Laramie pulling the knife out was stupid...glad to see her go.

Finally...Beth. Her relationship with Dad is unhealthy. Even Dad knows that. I think she is more of an emotional wife to him...but it definitely has crossed some lines...it's weird.
