I really wish I could get excited about this season but I’m just not. Like others, I don’t feel any attachment to last years rookies and I know we haven’t seen the show yet but from stalking Instagram, I already feel the same about this years. Dare I say it but part of me is missing Victoria. At least I know a bit of who she is! 🙈

Holly P has posted an Instagram story today of her performing part of the kick line and jump split as part of a class she’s been teaching. It genuinely makes me sad to see what an incredible dancer she still is and to think how many more seasons I’d have loved to enjoy watching her for!

Is anyone else finding themselves losing interest this year? Possibly due to the lack of spoilers/information but also could be because I have very little attachment to last years Rookies and obviously the show didn’t feel ‘normal’ last year. I feel like them airing the show later in the season is really the icing on the cake. IMO It really takes away from the excitement of the season because isn't dancing at games (and fans all over the world getting to see pics/vids of their ‘world class’ talent) really the point of being a DCC?! Seems so unfair on the girls. Wow I seem to have woken up pretty cranky, sorry for the negativity!

It may be a long winded way of figuring it out but should we start a list of the vets that post about anything DCC or TC related from now and surely this will then leave a shortlist of who may have left TC? I've seen Kristin so far but that’s it?

I know she wasn’t in TC this year so can we assume this number definitely doesn’t include Victoria?

See I find this interesting because I’ve seen multiple posts from new people who say it took forever for their accounts to be activated. It make wonder if Dr M has been waiting a while (and if so, what else could they have shared during this time) or did they somehow jump the queue?

Where did the whole Kelsey Lowrence rumour come from?! And if it’s true, are we sure she didn’t make it? I feel like it would make a great storyline so I’m surprised Kelly wouldn’t have let her through and then cut her just for the coverage on the show?

I always thought Kashara was being primed to take over from Kelli/Judy but it doesn’t seem like she’s been as involved this season? Possibly due to Covid and possibly a complete misinterpretation but that’s my thoughts. I hope we get more inside info this year, especially with the number of spots open, it should be a great year!

It’s just the comment about watching the cowboys beat the saints this year that made me think she was auditioning. It’s definitely mixed messages with her saying ‘short time’ but then about the Saints. I do hope she auditions but I also hope she’s not cut for the drama because she’s a great DCC.

Did anyone spot any DCC’s at Chelsea Chaney’s wedding at the weekend? I know she was only a DCC for a short time but I expected a nod to DCC considering how often she still talks/posts about it. Noticed she had been posting about doing TS on the run up to the wedding too but maybe this was just for a workout?

I feel like a lot probably rides on what the season will look in terms of who will retire as some may hold on for one more season to be back on the field. If the field isn’t an option, maybe more will retire. Hopefully we will have more of an idea of that before it’s time to re-audition!

Hang on, are you another DCC fan in Manchester?? I never thought I’d see the day!! I agree, Amy was a good option for point in my opinion but I didn’t like the split point at all and I also think if it had been Amy on her own, it may have lacked that ‘wow’ factor. But they didn’t achieve that with the split anyway 😂
