  1. Didn't Walter kill his adoptive parents when he was much younger? Isn't that why Sunny kept Walter hidden from the world all those years? Why was Walter freed if he did, in fact, kill his adoptive parents? Needless to say, I'm confused about this. I do like Walter as a character and I really really like the job the actor is doing to bring Walter's character to life.
  2. Lacey Chabert has one scene in Moonlight in Vermont, with Carlo Marks as her lead, that I absolutely love her in. She seems so real which is exactly what you find fault with her for. The scene is she is tasting a delicious bun that chef (Marks) had made and she is trying to convey to him that it is "not all that". As he looks away from her, she is scarfing down the delicious bun and muttering under her breath "oh soooooo good". She is adorable in that scene.
  3. I watched Fit for Christmas. Was this produced by a Hallmark company? I know it was aired on network CBS, but, if I had to bet, I would say this aired on Hallmark channel, especially that Paul Greene was the male lead.
  4. Just curious.......what is it about Lacy Chabert that you are "not a fan"? Others on this forum have also voiced a negative opinion about Lacey Chabert so what is it about her or her acting that you find off putting? I would have cleaned my bathrooms yesterday and would wash the floor when the guests are gone. LOL.
  5. My husband and I visited The Biltmore Estate in January a few years ago. The volunteers were taking down the Christmas decorations but we still got to see many of them. It is a magical experience............. absolutely magical! WOW....that is not the memory I have from visiting the estate. Far from it.
  6. Re: New Format I just changed the text size to "largest" and I think I will keep it this way. It is a bit easier to read, given the text is so light. Also.......since yesterday, a new setting was added to the text size. It is called "Embiggened". I clicked on it but it didn't do anything to the text. ??????????? To use the edit.......click on the three dots in the upper right of the compose box. You will find EDIT and SHARE there.
  7. Re: the format.......I wish the text was darker for one thing. The sometimes blue back round makes it even more difficult to read the text. I have the text size at the "larger" setting. What is with this huge white space after this post? What is with this forum's new format?
  8. New York Egg Cream by Ina Garten........... Pour 3 tablespoons of chocolate syrup and 1/4 cup of milk or half-and-half into a 16-ounce glass. While beating vigorously with a fork, slowly add club soda until the glass is almost full. Add a straw and serve very cold.
  9. I am shocked to hear this news. I never imagined tWitch was struggling with depression. RIP my man.
  10. Anyone who "defected" from Hallmart to GAF should have known why they were leaving Hallmark. This came as a surprise to Neal Bledsoe? What planet does he live on? The reason all those actors left Hallmark is because they agree with CCB's views.
  11. Christmas Bedtime Stories.........I just watched this movie last night. I guess I missed the discussion when it first aired. I liked the movie. Erin Cahill did an amazing job and it was so nice to see Steve Lund again; I really like him. The little girl who played the daughter was really good too......not whiney like some of these child actors. The premise of the movie moved along nicely and was interesting enough but I did not care for the ending. Why would Colby be just standing around at the school and not frantically looking for his wife and daughter or better yet, contact her as soon as he could when he was rescued? I know the ending was done for some sort of effect but I did not like it as it just wasn't realistic (as if some of these movies are, LOL) Agree.......Brooke has gorgeous hair. Isn't she known for her hair? I'm so jealous!
  12. I looked it up too when I watched the movie today. I knew there were no black dancers in the Rockettes in the 50's. Heck, I learned that the first black Rockette was Jennifer Jones, a 20 year old who was the first black Rockette in 1987. Hallmark was being woke with this one.
  13. My two absolute favorite Christmas movies are 1) A Christmas Detour 2) A Dream of Christmas Neither of which made the list. That list is utter hogwash!
  14. I was referring to "these people" as anyone who is not typical mainstream America. I was not referring to those who are typical mainstream America who are tolerant. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear on that.
  15. Diversity is a good thing in the entertainment industry but let's be real; these people are not the majority of the population. Not here in the US anyway. Suspension of disbelief is what is required to truly enjoy this movie. I did that so I LOVED the movie. I didn't even give it a thought as to the obstacles that would have been encountered when registering the baby at the ER.
  16. Watching Three Wise Men and a Baby again. The scene when Andrew Walker discovers the baby at the firehouse, he is wearing sweat pants. He does look thinner so agree with the poster above.
  17. Walker too thin? He looked quite buff to me, especially in the opening scene. NICE!!! Now, Ali Liebert, OTOH, looks heavier than I have ever seen her, without a doubt.
