  1. I'm watching last year's CCB movie, A Christmas Present. Waaaaaaay too much religious stuff with talk of God for me. I don't believe so I find this type of programming is not for me. Could it be over the top with religious talk because CCB is executive producer? Won't be watching this GAF channel any more if all the movies are indoctrinated with religious material. It's like watching Christian programming. Right down to the station identification and their catch phrase is "Faith and Family" programming. Are all GAF movies likethis one?
  2. I went back to check and you are correct. I don't know how that happened but I quoted you in error about Lacey. Sorry about that.
  3. Too bad about your dislike for Lacey Chabert. It's just the opposite for me. I keep her movies on my DVR for weeks at a time and replay them all the time. I don't sit and watch them, just have them on in the house as I'm doing other stuff. I've got my favorites such as Love, Romance and Chocolate and The Christmas Waltz, both with Will Kemp. I also enjoyed their latest movie, The Dancing Detective: A Deadly Tango.
  4. I enjoyed The Wedding Contract for one reason.......the two leads seemed like REAL people. They dealt with real problems in a real way, not the usual Hallmark way. I find it difficult to watch Becca since she did what ever it is to her face but she was watchable in this simply because she seemed like a real person. I liked her leading man too.
  5. Is the actress who is a white woman playing the character as an Indian woman? That I do not agree with but.....if the character is supposed to be a white woman, than what is wrong with I white actress playing her?
  6. Just watched Lacey and Will in The Dancing Detective; Deadly Tango. Those two have superb chemistry on screen. There was a couple of moments with Lacey chuckling and she just oozed that chemistry towards Will. As for the dancing.......Lacey did pretty well throughout the movie. I do believe, however, that Tango at the end of the movie, was mostly danced by Lacey but the close up intricate foot work was danced by a pro. Fabulous dance! Will Kemp, a trained and pro ballet dancer, is always a pleasure to watch him dance. I don't think the mystery and sleuthing aspect of the movie was "too thin" as other posters have said. I thought it was just right. Enjoyed this movie very much and I'll keep it on my DVR as I will watch it again.
  7. Can't wait to watch it. It is waiting for me on my DVR. Saw an ad while watching the HMM channel and Kemp had a really strong New Yawk accent. So funny. I love this guy.
  8. Click on the three dots in the upper right corner. That is where you will find the edit feature.
  9. Not only were they on the shower floor, I loved that the water was flowing over them as Shirley was in her fur coat. Absolute perfection for those two to end the series that way. Thank you for that bit of trivia.
  10. Yes, agree with you that gray hair on some people (me included) becomes wirey. But.......Susie's gray hair was just very curley. Maybe I'm nitpicking. Agree.....Marin Hinkle is certainly thinner than she was in "Three and a Half Men".
  11. The photo with Andy Warhol is not the photo I was referring to in my initial comment. The photo I was referring to is not in the first row. It is in the second row, all the way on the right and the celebrity that is in the photo with Midge has most of his face hidden by another framed photo. Can anyone identify that male celebrity? I really didn't give one thought to Midge's relationship with her kids. I want to know if Midge and Joel ever got together again. Why do some of you think he is dead in 2005? Did I miss something? Was it the lingering look at the wedding photo of her and Joel?
  12. Andy Warhol? My that's a far cry from Sinatra. LOL. I zoomed in the most I could and I realized it was not Sinatra.
  13. Very true. I'm Italian so the pounds usually creep up on us.
  14. Quoting myself................I zoomed in to see that is not Sinatra. Not sure who it is though. Moishe?
  15. Yet, Gordon announced to the audience that Mrs. Maisel will be back on his show.
  16. Correct. Those are not family photos. Is that Sinatra at the far right?
  17. Just the opposite for me. My eyes were misty though most of this episode. I'll miss these characters terribly. I wish it was shown that Midge got back with Joel. They both still loved each other and were devoted to each other. That's my take, anyway.
  18. Two comments about the aging of these two actresses..... Why was Susie's hair that texture and curley? As a younger woman, her hair was thin and straight as a pin. Midge should have put on a few pounds by the time she was in her 70's. She still had that awesome figure from when she was a younger woman.
