  1. So what are the sisters' "dreams" that they're off to pursue? Travel? Seems like they're still aimless spoiled brats. I couldn't stand either of them.
  2. I'm wondering if it was only a 6 episode season...but rejoice! It's been renewed and is apparently doing quite well... http://jezebel.com/rejoice-fans-of-bad-plastic-surgery-botched-is-coming-1616714000/all
  3. I swear, every single year, we have to hear how beautiful Kelli is when she strides into auditions. I know Kelli has an EP credit on this but damn, we get it Kelli, we get it, lol. I'm over Vivian this year. I didn't like her when she begged at the end of last season and this season she just seems so fake to me. Also not sure how much Melissa Rycroft I can take. I wonder if Kelli would be as "proud" of her if she hadn't won Dancing Wtih the Stars. Any other DCC who asked to come back only to quit again would be on Kelli's perennial crap list, imo.
  4. For those of you asking about the real life case Smothered was based on, here's an article: http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/1999/nov/11/boyfriend-gives-background-on-victim-in-du-pont-mu/ In the real case, the mom was a DuPont heiress. My favorite CI episode of all time is Art. I don't know why, it's the episode where CI just clicked for me and I became devoted. I think it was how the murder led to art forgery which led to an even earlier murder. And Goren speaks German. Winning!
  5. I just can't with Tori. Everytime I watch this show, I'm struck by how completely lacking in self-awareness she is, how needy she is, and how narcisstic she is. I laughed when she was whining to Dean that he had "made a commitment" to this family. Yes, Tori, he had. He also made a commitment to Mary Jo and Jack and we all know how that turned out. I'm just gobsmacked that she really truly believes she deserves this completely charmed fairy tale life as if she's the most special princess ever. I do think they're angling for a second season; all of Tori's quasi-dramatic pronouncements of "I don't know what will happen" during her talking heads screamed "Renew us for a 2nd season and we'll string this crap out for ya, Lifetime!" I also hated those talking heads. Is that supposed to be serious, deeply hurt yet brave, courageous Tori? Because to me, it was still more whiny me, me, me Tori. And for all of Dean's "babe I love you!" "Babe you're the best thing that ever happendd to me!" pronouncements, I don't believe him. I do not get this feeling of overwhelming love from Dean to Tori. I wonder if Tori picks up on that and that's why she's such a needy insecure mess. Although I suspect she'd still be one even if he was madly, passionately in love with her.
