The show was pre-taped on Thursday afternoon. When the show opened, it said in a box down in the left corner 'recorded earlier'. I guess they felt that there was no reason to come in on Friday and play to an empty studio while they were there on Thursday. However, "View Your Deal" must've been taped last week at some time, because there was a full audience there and Sunny was dressed differently. They must pre-tape a bunch of these garage sales. BTW, when they were discussing possible running mates for Biden I was shocked that Meghan didn't suggest the ghost of her father! Absolutely shocked!

Many shows are going on 'hiatus' for a while - including Wendy WIlliams. I can understand why (aside from the obvious, of course) - March /April is not a 'ratings sweep' period, so they're not concerned. Nice time for them to take a break, return the end of April and start May sweeps. (JMO)

After watching today's episode (homeless man evicted from garage) I have to wonder: Did Judge Judy really go to post-graduate school for 7 years to hear a bunch of meth heads fight over an eviction? I guess she did.

Someone needs to tell Meghan that pounding your hand on the table, lowering your head, blinking your eyes and yelling at the top of your lungs does not make someone a 'bombass' speech deliverer. By far. Sad to see Joy will be taking at least a week off. Since they don't have a sitting audience, will that mean there's no more Garage Sales (aka 'View Your Deal') since no one can cheer every piece of crap ?

She has that very 'drawn' look many runners have (I work with a woman who runs miles every morning - has that same drawn face). Plus her hair was too bright blond - she needs to darken it a bit, as she doesn't have the right skin tone. And her make-up wasn't good. Speaking of looks - why did Sunny choose to wear a roll of wall-paper on the show ? She looked awful - even Meghan looked better than her.

She was on around a year ago, when she was pushing her memoir. At the same time, the book 'The Ladies Who Punch' was being released, and Rosie admitted to having a crush on EH. I remember they asked her about this on the show, and she professed her offense by this (like she said, if this was a man saying this about a woman he used to work with, the #MeToo movement would be all over it). She opted to pray for Rosie.

I had trouble at times understanding the plaintiff, myself as he seemed to have some kind of dental work or jaw surgery which prevented him from opening his mouth. The mother was a piece of work - she was only 55 ? She looked a lot older, especially wearing Cher's discarded wig from 2000. As for PG&E (and other utiltiy companies) they don't lose a nickel on families like this. The unpaid debt is eventually written off and passed on to other responsible consumers. It was hard to watch her praise her cohosts on GMA and spewing that nonsense 'they bring out the best in me'. Please - you can see in her face she really hates being there, and is not appreciative of Keke being added. Everything she said was way 'too rehearsed'. Someday the truth will come out.

If I were someone promoting a cookbook or my TV show on cooking, I would never agree to doing a segment. Ever. With 20+ seasons for them to look back on, and see what a disaster these segments are, I would do a strong pass.

I was waiting for JJ to interrupt with "I didn't go to postgraduate school for seven years to listen to you truck driving story. Not interested ma'am! ". I was also intrigued by the sister referring to her brother as 'Prince Adam'. I didn't realize the family was part of royalty. Too bad JJ didn't pick up on that.

Both Meghan and Sara looked ridiculous. Meghan looked like she was wearing a Hot Air Balloon for a skirt, and Sara looked like she had her First Communion dress on for a skirt. Whoever told these two to wear black tops yesterday really got it wrong. As for Whoopie, I wish she was talking in her Valley Girl voice to Rocco when he was explaining the Keto diet. I'm sure that would have gone over really well. Or maybe she could have spoken in an Italian accent - imitate Marlon Brando from 'The Godfather' ? I'm sure Rocco would've loved that.

Count me in as one viewer who doesn't enjoy JJ reruns - I only DVR the newest ones. Though a friend of mine DVRs all of them - she loves the reruns for some reason.

Yes - he was very attractive. He could be a male model (though I would get rid of the Whoopi Goldberg harido). That case was so confusing and way toooooo boring to follow. I deleted it from my DVR by the second commercial.

My God, what has the keto done to Rocco DeSpirito? He gained an awful lot of weight. And the cooking segment was a disaster - they all overtalked each other, and didn't give him a chance to speak or explain anything (and you could tell he was getting annoyed). He was there for a reason - to push his cookbook for the keto diet and explain how easy it was to cook, but they turned him into their personal chef as they ignored him and conversed with each other.

Yes - in all fairness, Whoopi only relates the info of what the teleprompter says. Whoever is in charge of putting that info up for her to read (or talking in her earpiece) is at fault - not WG. As for Sunny - she still has a grandmother at 51 ? Most people at 51 are losing parents, not grandparents. (And I'm in my 50s, along with most of my friends). Either her grandmother started a family at a very young age, or longevity runs in her family.

Interesting to hear there are 'mostly black Catholic churches' in America. I'm in the northeast, attended many Catholic churches in my state and nearby states and New York City - not once have I ever come across a Catholic Church with mostly one race or another. It's always been mixed races which make up each parish. As far as Sunny, she herself has said that she's pro-life because she's a 'devout Catholic' and was brought up that way in the Church. I'm sure her religion dictates her beliefs on sexuality, too - as she has said repeatedly her religion has shaped many aspects of her life (including her marriage). Sure, she has freedom of thought - but it appears she'd rather follow Catholicism influence those thoughts. As a Catholic, I'm sure you realize there are more orders than just Jesuits - some which are very strict. We don't know which order Sunny's church follows. She could follow OCSO, for all we know.

The way Meghan likes to adamantly say "I hate Bloomberg!" and "I hate Steyer!" - one of them should ask her how she feels about Sarah Palin. She's never really said a word.

Keep in mind Sunny has always identified herself as a 'devout Catholic', so it should surprise no one that these would be her beliefs on pro-choice and homosexuality. I'm certainly not giving her a pass, but I need to point out that if you're a devout Catholic and follow the teachings of the church to the letter, then this is what you believe. Which makes me wonder - why was she referring to 'her church' as a 'black church' over the Bloomberg segment ? I don't know of any Catholic church which separates their parishioners on the basis of race, which means I've never heard anyone refer to any Catholic church as a 'black church'. Really not sure where she was going with this one. Also, she said her church talks about politics 'all the time'. I wonder if her church pays taxes then ? One thing we have in this country is 'separation of church and state' - which is supposed to mean 'no political talk' , otherwise you will no longer be tax-exempt. (Plenty of Catholic churches in my diocese has gotten into a lot of trouble over the years). Which Catholic church is she talking about ? Maybe the state of NY should look into it, and do a little investigating, because her church may owe them a whole lot of money....

I must say, the turquoise haired wastrel seriously had to be one of the best-looking guys which Judge Judy had on in a long time. Very sexy - and he knew it. A rare breed who could get away with 'turquoise hair'. They should nab him for 'the bachelor'.

Yes indeed - she's hanging up her robe at the end of next season (2020-21). She will announce it on "Ellen" today, which taped last week. According to some media reports, she's sticking with CBS for something called 'Judy Justice' - but it's unclear what it will be, or how it will air. There's a good chance the new project will be aired on the fledging subscription channel "CBS All Access".

I was so impressed today with Dr. Ashton! I've never seen her before, but I enjoyed her very much yesterday. Very informative about the coronavirus, and spoke to the audience in easy terms to follow - didn't speak to us like we all graduated from med school (as some doctors do on television). She was great during the HT conversations as well. The producers should really consider giving her a seat at the table full time - she added class and intelligence to the table (and notice Meghan calmed down while she was there). As for a second day of 'View Your Deal' - how much unsold Oprah crap is still sitting in the ABC warehouse that they needed a second day for a garage sale ? For the past few years, this has really cheapened the show.
