Personally, I'm not really a fan of many of this year's rookies! I'd only keep Amanda, Chandi, Kelcey and possibly Kristin (if she can keep off WW)

Sorry if I missed this, but was Kristin on WW this season, or is your comment speculation? I try to give her a pass because I'm impressed by her as a person, but she came back looking soft to me, even though I don't recall K, J, or C being dissatisfied with her figure.

Totally agree!!! If Katie and Madeline S don't try out again, It will be a shame. I would also love to see Alexandra give it one more shot. I'm really pulling for her.  She genuinely has the heart for it.

Same! I think making TC last year was huge for her and I hope that she used her experience to truly prepare to come back and make the squad.  Genuine is the perfect word for her and I'm pulling for her right beside you.

I highly doubt they will give it to second year ... I dont even think Cassie got second GL until her 3rd (please correct if I am wrong)  and then group 4 leader her 4th year (season 6 I think) ...if there was any favoritism she would have been given group 1 ... again you have to be able to instruct and guide to be a leader not just look good in front of the group.  I am hoping Savannah gets at least 2nd leader most likely being her last year but again I don't know how strong she is at guiding she may be able to execute dancing just not teach them...who knows

I'm pulling for Savvy to get some sort of accolade, too. She seems to be reliable, selfless, genuine, and sweet.

I'm not sure about that.  After not making DCC, didn't she stay with Ice Angels for at least 2 years?

I was thinking the same thing about Vivian. Girl worked her "drumstick thighs" off to come back and earn a spot back in TC. I think she would've relished the opportunity and attempted to come back as a veteran.

Regarding Kalli ... it still bugs me this girl only had 2 votes K&J and the other blonde I forget her name (tried out with Natalie in season 2) ... the poor girl had at 6 yes and a few maybe but K&J no so they went with Kalli Fulterton instead ... so much for vote tally 🙄

I think you're talking about Miranda and yeah. They chuck the rest of those opinions out the window when one of them likes a girl.

1)Kelly looks amazing now with a little fluff! This really shows how well she's aged, surgically enhanced or not!

    3) Can't stand Jay. Or Kallie Fullerton's eye make up. Never saw what they saw in her. Is it just me or does she look older than she likely is?

    4) Natalie Woods is a godess. She seems so poised, classy and real.

It's almost shocking to her and Judy dressed so casually. I'm a fan either way.

I do like that Jay is equal opportunity about his health assessments. He doesn't play favorites and you always know where you stand with him.

I love Natalie's look and attitude, too.  But, I didn't appreciate her making light of the cheerleaders wanting to be paid more.

Too much makeup.  If you compare her to the other girls in TC, it's a lot!

For me, Kalli just resembled some little woodland critter and her face never looked fresh to me. Personality and work ethic-sure. But, I didn't "see" her as a DCC.

Hi everyone! I'm very new to the DCC world and just recently started watching the show. My question is, if a rookie makes show group, does that mean they automatically make the team? I've always wondered how that worked! Thanks everyone!

The explanation given on the show is that a rookie candidate who makes show group is considered an alternate on the show group who still needs to earn her spot on the team.

Welcome to DCC land and if you haven't already, be sure to check out Pluto TV to watch seasons 1-12 for free. You can watch on your computer, your phone, and/or your smart tv.  They just stream the show all day every day. https://pluto.tv/live-tv/dallas-cowboys-cheerleaders

When I first typed that post, I did forget the "Ma'am" part.  I was afraid I would get attacked by a senior vet.

    Found the clip

My first time seeing that deleted clip. I'll take segments like that all day. Actually shows what they can do to make the team. Novel idea.

Here’s the direct link to Jenna’s tiktok video - I like that she can poke fun at herself about the point thing, and honestly she looks awesome...makes me miss seeing her type of performance ability/style In the triangle

    https://vm.tiktok.com/7VNAdt/

I kinda forgot what an amazing performer she is.  Damn, that girl is GOOD!

FWIW, I was never mad at her over the whole Holly/partying/asking Shelly thing. Like many have said, if her boss treated them like professionals then Jenna would've already known the extent of her "punishment" and wouldn't have needed to ask.  She probably just thought that Shelly could've given her some insight into KF's thoughts.  If it was that big of a faux pas, as a seasoned veteran, I think that she would've known better.  That kind of unpredictability from your boss is unfair, toxic, and unprofessional, IMHO.

I totally enjoyed her IG takeover. Not only did she start out the day with no makeup (still looking pretty, all natural), she was honest and vulnerable in her responses. She allowed herself to go deeper than some of the other DCC IG takeovers ("How tall are you?" "Who's your boot buddy?" blah blah blah) Yeah, Kat's play on the fake boyfriend was totally cute and funny. ITA regarding her Christian faith. Good for her!

Yes, there were definitely different questions that Kat was willing to answer. I wonder if others got non-typical (and non-creepy) questions, too, but felt the questions were too still personal to respond to.

I liked knowing her current job of taking care of kids whose parents are in essential services and her eloquence was great!

I'm with you guys. I liked Kat initially, but then she started grating on my nerves a tiny bit. Her makeup tutorial and then her IG takeover won me back over 100%. She comes across as authentic, geniune, and approachable to me.

Learning that she intended to tryout in 2017 and recognized that she wasn't ready shows her self awareness and maturity.

I thought it was unneccesarily rude of someone to post on the DCC IG account that she was unfollowing for the day because she didn't like Kat on the team. It also seemed like Kat's teammates think highly of her.

Season 6’s Eka’s (or however you spell it) blush is so over the top that it could have its own thread on this site! 😂😂 How did no one ever tell her to tone that down?  She looks like a clown 🤡

I also think Aussie Angela would not have made it had she not had that Australian accent.  The accent got her into camp.  She wasn’t that great IMO 🤷🏽‍♀️ #isaidwhatisaid 😂🤫 (She also literally said her accent got her thru the first round)

We must both be watching PlutoTV right now, lol. I agree with you about Ika and Anglea's accent definitely helped her out.

what's this ? a missed opportunity of the DCC ??

    {sorry I don't know how to load the video directly, s here is the link to play the video}

"Frisco Fighters Bombshells perform for residents at senior care center

The Frisco Fighters Bombshells held a special Easter weekend performance for a group of seniors. "

    https://www.fox4news.com/news/frisco-fighters-bombshells-perform-for-residents-at-senior-care-center

The video said that they're a new team for an indoor football team, so I applaud their outreach efforts and that according to the coach, they took precautions when choreographing and practicing the routine, doing so completely online. They looked pretty and it was nice seeing different body types, too.

So since the prep was online thus anyone in ant shape could have signed up, did anyone do this?  Would have been interested in who was teaching, Q & A portion etc.

I just posted over in the Auditions Speculation thread, but I signed up for the online prep class.  Due to technical difficulties, it was basically a live Q&A with Shelly B, Kelly, and Judy.  I had so much fun, though!  A few DCC were logged in and Ashlee encouraged people to try out, regardless of whether or not they felt their dance experience was lacking.
