  1. What did Bran mean when he and Jon reunited and Jon said “You’re a man now” and Bran said almost or not yet or whatever it was. Was that just a random conversation or did it mean something more?
  2. I watched the whole series except for the last two eps during the original run (Lost put me off series finales). I just finished rewatching the entire thing and fell in Love all over again! Such a happy, fun little show!
  3. So..... Drake?? I ended the season disliking both Susan and Rose more than ever before - especially Rose.
  4. Her accent was non-existent, but for me, it's mostly just that Melanie Griffith is WAY too old to still be employing her whole "giggly, flirty, little-girl voice" approach to acting. It was painful to watch, and it made it look like she was flirting with every male she had a scene with - including the one playing her son. If her character was supposed to be some cougar on the prowl, it would've been one thing, but I don't think that's what they were going for. Her outfits didn't help either, most which looked meant for someone 20 years younger. She just didn't come across as motherly at all - and for some reason I really imagined Danny having a tough, no-nonsense east coast style mother, not some giggly, silly person. Apparently, I REALLY didn't like the casting, lol.
  5. Thank you, BW Manilowe, for the explanation. At least there's a reason for what seems to me to be a horrible casting choice!
  6. I just got to the episode "Buried Secrets" where we meet Danny's mother. UGH, who made that horrible casting choice and WHY???
  7. Just watched the first episode and wanted to love it for Timothy Hutton but hated pretty much everything about it - especially Felicity Huffman's character. I agree with the poster upthread who bemoaned the dearth of lighter fare that's still clever on TV these days. I'm tired of dark, "gritty," miserable shows. I miss Psych, Monk and Leverage, to name a few...
  8. I'm having technical difficulties on my iPad. But I think that for Wade, love and love with Zoe are one and the same. Because it's only ever really been her.
  9. I've noticed that Grimm is doing something that several other shows are doing these days. They've casted an actress to play Renard's mother who is only 3 years older than the actor who plays Renard. I don't understand why shows have a such a problem using older actresses that they feel the need to have a 44 year old play the mother of a 41 year old. It is so ridiculous!
  10. She's treating him as much older than the show would have us believe. The things she's involving him in are highly inappropriate for a 12-13 year old.
  11. It's way too much boob. I just don't see a super-powerful female magical being feeling the need to flash so much cleavage. In all honesty, why would a super-powerful female magical being insist on wearing what must be an uncomfortable, heavily beaded mermaid gown with what must be a completely irritating high collar. I just don't buy that a powerful, magical woman would choose to wear something so impractical.
