Just UGH....Episode 801: Does Kathryn Dunn EVER not cry during an interview??????

My appointment went well! Stylist only had me and my Mom in the salon at the same time. She wore a mask the entire time. She sanitized everything btwn us and her last clients (also a Mother and Daughter I think). Changed gloves btwn working on each one of us (we both got color/highlight and cuts). I FEEL HUMAN AGAIN!!!!! 😄

Anyone heard how hairdressers (especially in Ky) are handling clients wearing masks during service? I have an appt in an hour and don't see how in the world the stylist can color my hair with a mask on?!

Anyone from the DFW area heard when restrictions might be lifted enough that the DCC can start their Training Camp? Here in KY/TN/IN/OH they've cancelled the concert I was supposed to go to this fall (Lady Antebellum in Sept in Nashville) and postponed the Reba concert in Evansville to NEXT Summer. Still haven't heard when Volunteers will be allowed back to our local hospital but my co-worker there seems to think it will be a "long time".

I would assume that a lot of the ladies auditioning would use this option if they knew about it. Heck, I actually stayed in a "corporate apartment" when I visited my younger brother at college back in the day 🙂

Are there a lot of "corporate" housing options in DFW? Like apartment complexes that offer short term rental for business travelers etc or hotel suites etc?

Has anyone heard when or if the in person portion(s) of the audition have been scheduled? Here in KY our Governor has rescinded his initial order of no large gatherings to end before Memorial Day instead of after, allowing for gatherings of at least 10 people. Does anyone know where TX is in their letting up on restrictions?

You're in TX? Here in Ky we don't get hair salons until Memorial Day (my appt is that Tuesday) Gov Beshear is allowing Churches to reopen on the 20th but with such strict requirements that larger congregations like mine won't be able to comply

Unless Texas is wayyyyyyy ahead of other states on reopening I cannot see how they can hold in person auditions or training camp or even have the football season. Here in Ky we're in a "phased" reopening. Right now we're in "Phase 2" of the overall "Economy" and no idea where we are in the reopening of healthcare,

If you're talking about the girl that's a physical therapist/assistant (didn't they call on her when TCC Tessa went down?), she's Chinese/Israeli. Only other thing I remember about her is Kelli called her out during the last rehearsal her rookie year for being the "weakest one in that group"

My salon opens 5/26 I assume since that's the day I got my appt. I had an appointment for the day AFTER the cutoff for closing that she had to cancel so I just automatically assumed I'd be scheduled for her first day open. (this should probably be moved to PM or small talk)

Here in Ky they've set the schedule for a "phased" reopening. Salons are May 25
