If I were a betting person on who's gonna win Top Chef, I'd put my money on Savannah. She's coming on very strong at the right time and has really improved her game since she started. Tom and Kristen even mentioned that when they were on Watch What Happens with Andy Cohen a few weeks ago.

I'm with Dan. The phrase "fish BOIL" sounds awful. The only thing I liked about this episode was seeing the "Top Chef All Stars" as they were called, and realizing a mini "Fast Foodies" reunion was going on--Kristen, Jeremy, and Justin were together again!

Good point about getting your kicks. It's just that male hosts of tv competitions never seem to have their clothing discussed. I get tired of hearing about how a woman looks, especially when one is so clearly KILLING IT as the new Top Chef host. Aren't we above that yet?

Why does anyone care what the new host of a COOKING competition wears??? This isn't Project Runway! Kristen is terrific in her new role and has the chops to intelligently judge the food placed in front of her. I do love a good bromance, though. I don't think the "Power Bottoms" will last a whole lot longer, but they're lots of fun like Ali and Amar last year.

Would someone please refresh my memory--aren't most of these chefs James Beard award winners or finalists? Don't they work in Michelin-starred restaurants? And they can't cook popular cuts of beef or fish? I've seen better cooking on Guy's Grocery Games.

Bougie cheese pizza, mini quiches, some kind of crackers and cheese...all those croquettes, a word I haven't heard since the '60s, was weird.

Totally agree. Dahmere stepped up as a leader all these weeks. He was praised by Gordon for his cooking. I picked him to win for his poise, confidence, food, and leadership qualities. Then on tonight's episode when he kept telling Carmen he needed a couple more minutes to cook, she ignored him. So Gordon kicked him out? Makes absolutely no sense.

This show is so fixed it isn't funny. (Other than the Bobby Bones year.) This judges and producers have a favorite, and they ride that throughout the season. I've been watching since the first season, and it hasn't changed.

Yeah, my clock was at 9:59 EST when they started saying who was safe. It would've taken longer than a minute to have said the sad goodbyes, so I knew something was up. You get a trophy! And you get a trophy! Merry Christmas 😂

Dahmere was so kind and supportive toward Atoye after her meltdown. So touching! I thought that was extraordinary and how a real leader acts. Bravo!

Maybe that's why her scores were off. She couldn't see the dances 😂 I don't have a problem with someone singing along while dancing. After all, Jason is a singer, and that might help with his energy and connection to the music. And I noticed that Val and Artem were singing, tonight, too, even after BP said it was distracting.

I miss Len so much. He always told the truth even if/when the audience didn't like it.

ASL simply means American Sign Language. Change the nationality, and the first initial changes. 😊 I love blueberries and think they have loads of flavor. That was weird for her to say they don't!

i've lived in Northeast Ohio for most of my 65 years and have never had a Polish boy. Same with my friends. What we all love is standard American fare--pizza, burgers, fried chicken--but more and more people are eating that diverse food that you mentioned. We have a huge Middle Eastern, Ukrainian, and South Asian presence because we're a major destination for refugees. (Padma would've loved that!) I don't see that being formulaic at all.
