  1. I was lukewarm on the first half of the season but it took me just 5 minutes into the second half to love it. It brightened up my cold Sunday. I think the relationships are starting to gel, even the bad guys are kinda likeable. It's goofy but affecting, violent but zany, and I'm a sucker for a good pun. I really hope it gets a second season. This show NEEDS a second season. If for nothing else, I want to know Walter's back story. Overkill looks and sounds so much like Nathan Stark from Eureka, it makes me automatically like him.
  2. As a fellow Hoya, I've been tracking this. Yes, he has worn a Georgetown t-shirt while lounging around the apartment. And Issa said something once about him wearing a t-shirt with the name of his school on it to confirm to the audience that he went there. I want to know the story behind him driving such a fancy car. As far as we know, he had been unemployed for the last couple of years and I believe we saw the car before he got his current job so he's been driving it for awhile. And a Jaguar seems like such an odd choice for a person his age. I want all of Issa's wardrobe. Loved her outfit at the party.
  3. Ha, I came here to see if anyone else knew for sure. The melody sounds like "Magic Doors" by Portishead but it also sounds like it might be something else I can't quite put my finger on. Every time I see Bobby, I miss Major Briggs. Loved the character and loved the actor.
  4. One of my favorite dynamics on this show is between Dodd and Charlie. Dodd is a soulless bastard towards everyone else but seems to have a soft spot for his nephew. Or maybe he just amuses him? Not sure, but I think he does care about him. I'm eager to see how the botched shooting will affect their relationship. Will Dodd be concerned for Charlie first or just be angry that Ed isn't dead? There's no way Charlie's not going to do time for this, right? There goes school, which will now piss off Bear even more. Speaking of whom, I'm glad he got more to do in this episode than eat and point at people with a turkey leg. He won me over by crying over the news about Rye and for his conversation with Hanzee. How many people live in the Gerhardt house? It doesn't look that big, not big enough for 3 generations of a family, anyway.
  5. Was that Allison Miller who played the Uber woman at the end of the episode? She and John Cho were on that Matthew Perry show last year. I love her! I love this show even more now. ETA: Already confirmed by thuganomics85. More AM, please!
  6. She looks fabulous in them. CD owes a debt of gratitude to Diane von Furstenberg. Having said that, enough already. I'm starting to not be able to distinguish one wrap dress from another.
