Yeah but my point is that they never actually told us anything. We know how Joey became Chandler’s roommate because they told/showed us. We know Ross and Monica knew Rachel as kids and she became Monica’s roommate in the pilot. We know Chandler met Ross in college when they were dorm roommates and they stayed in touch. We’re left to guess how Phoebe came along.

I always wondered how Phoebe ended up in their group. We got How They Met explanations for everybody else but never anything for Phoebe.

Was he still employed at KACL at the end of the show’s run?

Yes, Phoebe wanted to keep it, but Ross allowed her all of 30 seconds before he started yelling at her. Maybe give her a little bit more time, Ross? And I loved Phoebe mocking Ross for caving about evolution. He’d spent hours haranguing her about it. He had that coming.

Phoebe didn’t prolong it, nobody told her, not until Ross stomped in and yelled at her. Ross was an ass for the same reason he’s an ass all the other times. He believes he’s right and doesn’t care if he hurts people’s feeling while he proves it.

Yeah, I’m younger than a lot of you, we didn’t have the hoity toity dress codes like that, though my mother has told me much the same thing about her school dress code growing up. As a Gen Xer, I guess I’d like to thank you Baby Boomers for putting your skirted foot down and demanding pants. Because I hate skirts and would’ve been miserable being forced to wear them. As it was, I did grow up in south Texas and we weren’t allowed to shorts to school. And it was an open, outdoor high school campus, usually somewhere around 100° out but no shorts! The irony is that they eventually tore down that campus, built a new high school that was indoor and air conditioned and also rescinded the no shorts policy. I suppose I could be upset at the unfairness of it all but I look back and realize that the constant sweating was how I stayed thin.

Thought it would be fun to try a time killing game while we wait for the new show to debut. Twenty Questions...think of a person, place or thing associated with the show. Posters ask questions until someone guesses, then the winner posts a new one (or if it gets to twenty with no winner, original poster wins and does another). I'll go first. I'm thinking of a person.
