  1. That's what I'm hoping. Jenkins got sucked off instead of flower. Besides, it would be cruel to have Jenkins stuck there for all eternity watching Isaac and Nigel madly in love.
  2. I absolutely loved this episode. Jay + owl = comedy gold. When the owl circled back and descended on him, I couldn't stop laughing. Like many others, I hope Flower hasn't really been sucked off. Maybe she found a bear den on the property and decided to care for the cubs until their mother emerges from hibernation later this spring?
  3. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8opfoy This is the first episode of Series 5, April Fools. From there the rest should be easy to find.
  4. Sadly, the final Christmas episode disappointed me. It's almost as though they forgot
  5. The episode "Bump in the Night" hasn't aired yet on CBS but should in the next couple weeks. It's easily one of the top fan favorites in the whole series. it's also one of the only episodes that I wish they would adapt (in some way) for the US series. I don't want it replicated scene-by-scene, but the premise is absolutely fantastic and leaves a lot of room for options.
  6. Below is where I ordered it last week, but have not yet received it. It's a quite bit cheaper than Amazon and has free shipping to the US. Someone on another forum also ordered from Blackwells and received it no problem. https://blackwells.co.uk/bookshop/product/Ghosts-by-Mathew-Baynton/9781526669902 Also, Series 4 plus the S4 Christmas episode is now available for streaming/purchase on Amazon. They will probably wait until after the 25th to make Series 5 available because the Christmas episode is planned for release on Christmas day in the UK.
  7. "......you thieving giiiiiit!" I've loved Fanny ever since she tried to explain the 'bees and flowers' to Kitty. Below is a video of Martha Howe Douglas (as Fanny Button) reading a letter that Fanny wrote to White Star Line demanding a refund for her Titanic tickets. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sl_LKXug7as
  8. Yes and I think it was the last straw for him. Her behavior had been so erratic and she threw a tea cup at his head --well she threw it at Mary, but she is a ghost, so it went straight through her and nearly hit him instead.
  9. Paramount + is supposedly going to air all 5 UK series, but they are only releasing 2 episodes each week to coincide with the CBS weekly airings. I'm not sure if I can mention or link this here, but an incredibly kind and sympathetic Brit (on another web forum) shared HQ copies of series 4 and 5 via Google Drive because American fans of the show were denied access to the last 2 series. Does anyone know if we can post links to other forums? Does that violate Primetimer rules?
  10. Thanks for posting that. I had no idea that they tried to make an American version of AbFab. You are right that it did not work. At All. They tried too hard to replicate each character; I don't know if they miscast American "Edina" or perhaps Jennifer Saunders is just in a league or her own and inimitable, but that first scene was just cringey.
  11. Yes! Bring back DHP. I wonder why he isn't interested in returning. He never really explained why, and he is very private so we might never know. I do agree about the abrupt change in Daphne's temperament towards the end of the series. It was so strange and unexpected. But I would still be sad if Daphne died or if they divorced.
  12. The final clip with David dumping the little box of World Series dirt into the plant was hilarious and pulled me right back into the Golden Age of Frasier. It won't be the same as the original -especially with Niles missing - but David is displaying enough of his father's traits and mannerisms that it just might work. IMO, the original series wouldn't have lasted without Niles. His relationship with Frasier brought a magic to the show. They played off each other so well.
  13. Who thought it was a good idea to make Madison the narrator? Cameran's (sp?) narration worked because she avoided most of the drama and functioned more as a detached observer (but with an inside view.) Why did JT go to London to watch the World Cup? Wasn't 2022 held in Qatar? When you are planted in front of a TV, it doesn't matter if it's in Charleston or London. However, if he watched it in a pub to partake in the English bar crowd's energy/enthusiasm for the sport then I (kind of) get it. But JT still has really douchey vibes.
  14. I'd also like to add that they need to find/rehire the old Frasier set designer. Frasier's and Niles' apartments were timelessly stylish. The sets were almost as captivating as the writing. Frasier's new Christian Lacroix couch is blah. Bring back the suede Coco Chanel. I can't believe they ditched it in the reboot
  15. That's my problem, too. Perhaps it is because I've rewatched Frasier so many times that any deviation from the OG feels somewhat 'alien.' Hopefully Kelsey will 'warm up' as the season progresses, and his delivery will be more natural and consistent with the Frasier we knew. It's something I've noticed in most multi-season series. The actors take a while to find their footing and really embrace the character. Of course, Kelsey did play the role for >20 years, so it isn't like he's just now figuring out where to go with the character. I really want to love the reboot so I'll hold out hope that he's just a bit rusty.
