  1. I don’t know why people hate ringers so much. This show is called dancing with the stars not dancing with stars that can’t dance. I don’t know where the concept of having to learn and grow came from. Some stars can dance. Hell, they work in entertainment. I personally would hate to watch a season with completely subpar dancing because everybody’s growing.
  2. I figured Joey was going to win. I think the tennis racks were a bit awkward for even the pros to dance with but great song choice. I enjoyed the Gymnastics in Stephon’s freestyle. I’m not huge fan of the Barbie songs, but great idea. The concept for Ilona’s freestyle was great. She was an actress and dancer tonight. She looked amazing as well. I like that Chandler and Brandon celebrated being the first black couple to make the finale, and I enjoyed their freestyle. I knew she wasn’t going to win, but making history is not too bad. Honestly, there’s no telling when that will happen again. Anyways, Brandon came through on the freestyle, well done.
  3. Can we talk about this because...Yes, this is a huge problem for me as well. Take this episode for example, other stars that are not anywhere near as good as her dance wise had great dances because the music and routine were superb like Stephen's Tango for example. Half the time, I don't even like the music Chandler is dancing to. To me, sometimes Brandon doesn't choreograph well for entertainment and television (music, groove, interesting choreo, choreoing to his partners strengths, etc can be off sometimes). He's doing much better this year (The Rhumba to Billie Eilish was exceptional), but I hope he can pull something spectacular off for the finale because I doubt if she has a large fanbase. Still, I would love to see them win. He's never been this close and she may be a ringer but a bit of an underdog in the fan department imo.
  4. I recently binged this show on Hulu. I enjoy design shows but it’s crazy how many contestants on these shows can’t sew very well , and there were some characters on this show…oh my goodness. I liked the winner even though I didn’t enjoy the clothes in the finale.
  5. The judges pretty much went ham on Jennalyn this episode. It seemed like a direct reflection of how the other competitors felt. Why would that one baker make fake chocolate pretzels instead of making real chocolate pretzels? It seemed odd but maybe she wanted to show more chocolate work. In any case, they really want them to execute whatever advice they get during the advantage.
  6. A bit of a reunion tonight. It was so good seeing the old dancers: Ivan, Kayla and Tucker, Alex, Jasmine, Bailey, and Alexis. Dakayla and Anthony have pretty much been one and two for me all season based on their solos so I wasn’t disappointed in the final two. However, I would have given the win to Dakayla because she’s a little more diverse in movement imo. Overall, I enjoyed the finale.
  7. They have some strong personalities this season. It’s going to be interesting to see how things play out.
  8. Super surprised by the outcome, but I could tell that Alex soaked the cakes too much. It’s crazy that the classically trained European chefs never win. They go far, do incredibly well but never win. Anyways, I like them all so I’m good with any of them winning. I’m looking forward to the glass stain concept.
  9. The judges comments are confusing to me sometimes. I know they need something to say but make that shit make sense. How is Allison basically going to complain about Dekayla staying in character the whole performance? How is Easton supposed to show other sides to himself when he’s playing a character? Anyways, it was nice to have an opening. I liked the choreo for each performance. Mariyah’s solo was one note and Jaylin also needed to use the stage more and show more variety, but I’m not mad about Jaylin leaving because the lack of technique is rough at this point, although he held his own well imo.
  10. It’s good to have the show back. I was surprised they didn’t like the contemporary guy that reminded me of Billy Bell (you know the one). I enjoyed the ballroom dancers at the beginning. I hate the audition eps so I’m looking forward to the end of this process. It’s nice that all the judges are experts in a dance style that will be highlighted on the show.
  11. That would've been a perfect topper for his cake.
  12. Ok, I didn't know the cookies were also assigned to them.
  13. I really enjoyed this group of bakers and would've been happy with any of them winning. I thought Aisha's cake looked the best but dry cake is the worst imo. So, I wasn't surprised that Dru won because his cake also looked like Christmas and tasted great. I don't know why Aaron would cook cookies he's never made in the finale. Plus, he clearly had to rush on the sky scrapers. Jessica gave it her all but she struggled with time as she incorporated a lot of timely elements, making the cake, cutting the apples, making the macarons, etc. Anyways, I look forward to seeing some of this seasons bakers on other shows. It is clear they got along well with each other, and they were so talented.
  14. Bobby kind of threw the last match by doing it by himself. A little help and he probably would've won.
  15. Holiday episode 3 was pretty good. Bobby is really pushing out some shocking wins, but I kind of knew the sides would hurt Brooke's team while they saved Bobby's team. Anyways, I enjoyed the friendly snark between the guest chefs.
