  1. I'm complaining about all the writers that came an went, they didn't give these characters enough depth. I mean, for example, what kind of father is Nick, anyway? Christian could be dead in his daddy's appartment for all we know. It's understandable. They might start dropping hints in April, maybe even introducing some elements and events that would help establish his return, if they'll really resurrect him but as I said, I think that Adam's story will take time, they have to give him a believable comeback story and one hell of a reason for returning (considering that there's nothing for him to come back to, apart from the abandoned plot-point named Christian).
  2. Sharon, Nick, Phyllis, Jack, these characters just don't grow up, there's no developement. They'll just bed whoever comes their way. It's just not realistic and downright degrading for them.
  3. Yes, I agree, let JT get out of town with Mac, to get treatment for his tumor. I don't want him to get killed off, he's a legacy character and I would like to think that he would return one day.
  4. You can't reconcile the old JT with the new one because Mal totally destroyed the character. Josh has to salvage what's left of him and with this brain tumor story I think that he actually stands a chance to do so, fortunately.
  5. How I missed that! That's our Paul! I gotta say, now that Mal's stories wrap up and Griffitth and Morina are taking over, I started watching on a regular basis again. I still can't stand Tessa, Mariah, Summer, Kyle and Lola, though. I don't like the stories, i hate the characters. hate the actors, I hope they'll do something about them because whenever one of them comes up, I just fast forward, everytime.
  6. I'm curious, what do you think was Mal's initial idea with this story?
  7. Well, we had three actors in the span of 8 years, leaving out the child actors: Chris Engen (2008-2009), Michael Muhney (2009-2014), Justin Hartley (2014-2016). Another recast is risky but doable and I agree, it should be the final one. If you get more actors for a character, you risk watering down that character's personality, like they did with Billy, who was played by God knows how many actors by now, all relatively different from each other. I mean how the hell did they think Burgess Jenkins would work after they gave us Billy Miller, who was a god in that role?? And David Tom just didn't cut it as adult Billy, he was great as teen Billy but as a vindictive grieving father, no, just no.
  8. I agree with you, the actor needs a certain charisma in order to appeal to the viewers. I heard some rumours about Andy Shephard being cast in the role but I just hope it's not true. I don't think he would make a good Adam.
  9. That's strange, because before Mal Young, then HW Sally Sussman officially killed Adam off, back in November 2016 in an interview. Afterwards, Mal Young shut down any rumors and refused any talk about Adam in August 2017 when he took over the EP/HW role so I was under the impression that they blacklisted the character for good.
  10. You're not sounding rude. I'm just skeptical when it comes to these sources because Daytime Confidential also reported the return of Adam back in May 2017 and it didn't happen. At that time a number of male actors, among them Jason Shane Scott and Jason Gerhardt were proclaimed by Jaime Giddens to have auditioned for the role but neither one of them was cast and it was never confirmed that the casting was for Adam. As for Justin Hartley, I believe that he heard the rumours just like everybody else. I don't think that he has any inside news from CBS/Y&R.
  11. Okay, let's hope that it's true and he is indeed coming back.
  12. Good point! I think Chloe would be furious to hear that her plan didn't work. But on the other hand, she supposedly has a happy life with Kevin and their daughter, Bella, away from GC. It's not worth it to give all that up just to stick it to Adam. And coming back to GC she would face at least attempted murder charges because of the cabin blast, so again, jail time. It's not worth it when she has the perfect cover (everyone thinks she's dead) and she gets to keep her family and life. I mean, Delia will still be dead no matter what happens to Adam but being there for Bella and raising her in a family with both parents weights a bit more, in my opinion. @taavir40 This whole "Adam returns" gossip is just gossip, at this point. I hardly believe they are reviving him, let alone already finding an actor to play the part... Personally, I'm still waiting for a confirmation from the network, or at least an interview with Josh Griffith, to have a definitive confirmation. So until then, I'm taking everything with a grain of salt.. :)
  13. Well, according to this source, back in 2014 Justin Hartley was announced as the new Adam in August, began taping in September and first aired on November 5th. Personally, I think it's going to take a long time before we see Adam back. I figure the writers would have to wrap-up the Mal Young's long and stale stories first, maybe clean-up the cast a bit and then move on with the new stories. Plus, given the fact that Adam and his family has been completely excised from the show, it's going to take a longer time to come up with a suitable story that would require his resurrection. As I said, at this point there is no need for him and just throwing him into the mix would be downright silly and uninteresting.
  14. Oh, yeah, I totally forgot that there's a Christian "Plot-Point" Newman on the show... Anyway, stupid storylines like the JT's "murder" should never exist again. I mean, sending Nikki to prison for 30 years without any dead body found and with that Nikki acting in self-defense? Who does that??
  15. I dunno.. my two cents is that they won't bring him back unless they bring Chelsea and Connor too. Otherwise, there's no need for Adam now, there's nothing going on for him and throwing him in the mix at this point would just be random and make no sense.
  16. I love Adam but I,m still not buying that he's coming back. Mal Young and Sally Sussman did a great job at removing any trace of the character from the show. His entire family was removed, they're not even mentioned anymore. So this recast, if it's real, it's totally out of place.
