  1. What's up with all the rumors about Mark Grossman leaving Y&R, does anyone know?
  2. Can somebody please remind me why the hell are we supposed to care at all that Adam killed AJ Nobody? And where does all this guilt and soul searching come from? I mean this is the man that committed heinous acts against people that we care about. Why should we all of a sudden give a damn about him killing a character that's clearly been made up only to serve this ridiculous plot point?? Is this the same Adam who stole Sharon's infant daughter, killed an innocent man (Richard Hightower) and framed Nick for it without ever feeling any remorse? Like at all? This is just to name a few of the crimes he's committed. Not to mention running over Delia with his car and covering his tracks before getting ready to skip town whit his beloved and forget all about it. I don't understand, are the writers brain-dead at this point, who is this guy they paired with Chelsea?? I had so high hopes from Josh Griffith regarding Adam's return, especially after Mal Young's boring tenure but seeing the garbage he and his team write for him I just wish they would've left him dead. And not just Adam's story is lame, the whole show is a bore fest. They completely ran out of material and it shows.
  3. Did anybody else notice that Mark Grossman is STILL not in the opening credits? Given Adam's importance on the show, and the storylines he's carrying, I find this odd, to say the least. I mean even Cait Fairbanks is in the credits but not Mark. Is this a sign that he won't be sticking around for long?
  4. Having watched the show regularly again since Mark Grossman's debut, I can finally say that his portrayal of "Adam" just doesn't work for me, I'm sorry. It's not the acting, I can see that he's giving it all but damn it, he's no Adam and he never will be, in my eyes. He's more like Victor's long lost grandson who came home from boarding school, doesn't represent at all what Adam's character once was... I don't get it, there were far better options out there: Jason Shane Scott, Wes Ramsey, heck, even Muhney would've come back if asked.
  5. Wow, is Nick a doormat or what? I don't get it. Why all the love for Chelsea when she ripped his heart out just a year ago? And why all the hate towards Adam when they clearly got to better feelings when Adam was in prison? And what's with all the "second chance" talk when it comes to Adam? Writing team, learn how to count... This is his third chance at life. First he "died" in the river, then he came back and "died" again in the cabin explosion two years later. Unless they're slowly trying to erase the JH era.
  6. Nice touch tying in the new love triangle between Adam, Chelsea and Calvin with Adam's childhood and all the pain and suffering he's been through, I'm really enjoying it. Also, after Chelsea told him that she doesn't love him anymore it's the moment we see how bad Adam is crushed, brought down to his knees. And it's nice to see that for a change, he's been having that criminal mastermind grin on his face ever since he got his memory back...
  7. And what's with Adam's embarrassed face whenever Chance is brought up? Did they have a gay affair or what? Wouldn't be Adam's first. :))
  8. Something tells me they writers are trying to pretend Philly never existed. And if you ask me, that would be the smart thing to do.
  9. My my.. It looks like we're gonna find some intel on Adam's life in Vegas. I wonder where does Chance fit into the story.
  10. He asked but it was soo far in the game it was ridiculous. Like it was the last thing on his mind, like he misplaced something: "-Oh, btw, I used to have a wife and a kid, have you seen them? Don't really miss them or anything, but the script says that I should give a damn, for some reason..." The last time we saw Adam, Chelsea and Connor were his life, he was ready to go on the run for the rest of his life just to be with them, what changed? Wouldn't this be like the first thing on his mind since he got his memory back? I don't have a problem with Mark, I specifically mentioned this, the guy can act, heck, even the story is acceptable. But the way it's presented is too rushed and presented backwards somehow, if that even makes sense. I mean, give Mal some credit, he turned the show into a bore fest but at least he laid the ground for the stories so that you can know and understand what is about to bore you to death.
  11. I mean worst written. Sure, Adam has done worse things in the past but there was usually a reason, a logic for it. Now he's just running around threatening people. WTH? He hasn't asked once about Chelsea or Connor since he got his memory back, nor about Chloe and how she escaped prison, nothing. Did he just forget about his killer?
  12. We agree to disagree. I think this is the worst storyline this character has ever had. The character is weird, doesn't act at all as Adam would. On a side-note, Is EB retiring? Why they're making Victor sick again? Is that why they accepted to resurrect Adam and fast-paced this whole story?
  13. Adam's story is the worst, they should've left him dead. Nothing from his story makes any goddamn sense. The're ruining my fav villain.
  14. Yes and you can see Mark trying to channel that darkness that Muhney brought to the role. It's admirable and it's clear that he's giving his all but the problem is his age. It's really hard to take him seriously. He looks more like a teenager who's angry at his parents for not letting him go out in the weekends than a man that ran down a little girl, covered it up and afterwards survived not one but two explosions that would've burned down any other human being. Come on, we need an older chap for this gig. Wes Ramsey for example, he would've been a better choice. On the second part, I guess we have to agree to disagree. Adam doesn't need any more money, he has plenty. He wouldn't extort his siblings for an extra buck.
