  1. I didn't care for her eulogy because it was about herself, not the deceased. Sophie leaving her fiance at the funeral reception to fend for himself all day was weird too. The ring thing was cringey. I too thought she'd pawned it at first.
  2. Thanks for the explanation, I don't recall any of that, weird, I'll have to rewatch. What a horrible thing to say to anyone, especially to someone who's essentially already "lost" a child in a plane disappearance.
  3. I must have missed something because I don't remember anything about someone wishing Grace to lose the baby, how terrible. How are they going to be able to save all the passengers? Surely not every person on that plane is living in New York, I guess the passengers in like Minnesota or Texas are screwed. I bet the baby is born on August 28.
  4. I want someone to look at me the way Kevin looked at Sophie, oh my heart
  5. I agree. And as a parent myself with three small kids (not triplets, thank goodness!) sometimes you say unwise things when they won't sleep and you just want a break! I could sympathize with Jack in that moment and it also showed me to watch what I say when I'm tired/frustrated.
  6. I was expecting that to be the twist too. But I think the cabin was a better twist.
  7. So the one patient with an "overdose" claimed she was in danger since she turned state's witness. Were the other inmates trying to escape to go after her, or to just escape prison? I know one was in for tss, what were the other inmates in the hospital for? Was it all a ruse, I didn't understand that part. But it's not like most of this show is believable anyway.
  8. Not sure this is an UO here, but it is other places: I wish Deja hadn't been introduced or at least didn't have such a heavy focus on her. I'm not interested in teen drama or angst in my prime time shows. Also, I'm not liking that every single traumatic event possible has affected this family. Well, I take that back, they haven't experienced any natural disasters yet, I guess that'll be season 5.
  9. Also, I'm not a fan of the "kids are going to do it anyway, might as well condone it" mentality that's so popular. I found the scenes with teen Randall and Rebecca hard to watch. It just seemed weird like Randall is taking the role of spouse/partner for Rebecca, in an emotional sense. It just didn't feel right. Rebecca did kind of bring that up, but it seems nothing really changed. She needs a therapist or friend to fill an emotional role for her, not her son.
  10. She's 14. She can't drive, doesn't have a job, they determine when she leaves the house and with whom. They are her parents they absolutely can keep her from seeing him. My parents certainly did in high school
  11. I agree! When Deja was whining that it was so unfair that their "date" was at their home, supervised, my parents would've been like "ok, you don't have to see him at all". I'd have had her cancel the date after that. They weren't comfortable with the relationship anyway, but compromised since they are both good kids. Then to pull that whining crap? Nope, not in my house.
  12. I actually liked Max this episode. I've suffered a stillbirth, and his empathy was palpable, as it was coming from his own grief too. Of course him being by her side the entire time and allowing her in the room indefinitely was beyond unrealistic, but I do like how the show portrayed a glimpse of the pain and feelings involved when a baby is born still. But for crying out loud, close the curtains in her room! The world shouldn't be watching a woman grieve and she shouldn't have to be subjected to the sight of newborns and happy families. Does this hospital not understand privacy?
  13. I think I must have missed an episode, what was the blood stain on the carpet from?
  14. My tragedy bingo card is almost full
  15. This show is getting more and more ridiculous. The writers are laughing all the way to the bank.
