Uhm...maybe on Lie To Me she had standard TV makeup but on CF it's over the top. Gabby's makeup is too heavy fo a firefighter. It's unrealistic b/c they sweat like hell when on calls in their full gear and under the masks. But Dawson is always in her flawless battle makeup even in the hospital after the miscarriage, so lack of running mascara and such doesn't surprise me. MR's pics without makeup are hard to find. I saw some on Twitter but I don't have any links, sorry.

To each their own but to call Dawson beautiful is an overstatement imo. She needs a ton of makeup to look decent...

Someone asked Derek on Twitter if Gabby gets any job repercussions because she went "All Gabby" to Boden about the arson investigation. The answer he gave was NO..naturally..because Princess Gabby can do no wrong... And her awkward high five with Duffy just shows that she is 100% sure she's doing an awesome job.

I didn't notice the hammer. It's a good theory :)... But shots were fired inside the club. The police heard them. Dang writers, hehe ;) They could have shown us more details...but maybe they intentionally made this scene kind of ambiguous?

My thoughts exactly! It's getting ridiculous at what lengths the writers go in order to include more Gabby's close-ups. How the hell did she get to the club so fast? Does she have a Casey radar or we're supposed to believe that Antonio called his sis to inform her where they've found Casey?!Speaking of Casey, in one of his pre-season interviews Olmstead said that Matt will be haunted by what he had to do to survive the ordeal. Also, someone said that he had blood on his hands. And though the scene was rushed, my take is that Casey somehow I snatched the gun out of that thug's hands and shot him dead and then beat the crap out of Nesbitt... I was stuned that it was never mentioned in the episode. I was expecting PD to at least ask Casey who shot that Bulgarian...This storyline had so much angsty potential b/c it was Matt's biggest fear that he could turn into his mother the murderer...of course, it was self defense but still he killed a man and it should be a heavy weight on his conscience. What do you think?

I've read it somewhere (probably on Derek's twitter) that Dawson is gonna be transferred to Arson Investigation! Can you imagine that?? It's beyond lame and very, very unrealistic! She is nowhere near the level of knowledge and expertise required for the job. Usually, AI employs the seasoned firefighters who have years and years of experience working in the field. Remember when Chief Boden asked Benny Severide to help them with a case? Or when that blond captain chick from AI needed Kelly's opinion... But Gabby is such a Mary Sue. Our little kick-ass genius is just perfect in everything she does *sarcasm intended* Ughh! And Haas also teased that Dawson will tell Matt about the baby in the last 5 seconds of the season premiere...

I think they will deal with Casey's disappearance in the season premiere of PD in September b/c when NBC made the decision about the delayed start of CF, the final episodes of PD have already been filmed.

Yeah, you're probably right b/c Gabby should be the center of every damn storyline...but I'd love to see Severide to the rescue :) I hated to see them at odds over Rice. And I think Kelly should feel a little guilty that he didn't even know that his buddy Matt risked his life, trying to do the right thing. I'm really sorry that the show didn't give us much in terms of Sevasey bromance! Anyway, if TPTB plan to resolve this story arc on Chicago PD, then I doubt we'll see any flashbacks at all...

Casey doesn't trust Voight and he didn't want to help his nemesis but super!Gabby obviously has the magic gift of persuasion. Besides, she asked soooo nicely! *rolls eyes*

I hate to see Casey and Severide at odds again but I have to say Kelly acted like a total jerk this eppy. It was kinda mean of him to say that the truck guys just don't like being low men on the totem pole. I don't remember him complaining when Casey and his team rescued him from the last fire, when the floor collapsed under him. Was his buddy-the elite firefighter-Rice there for him? Oh, no! His mask conveniently malfunctioned...right...

It was so OOC for 51 to go to Molly's to get drunk while one of their own was laying unconscious in a hospital bed! At least Casey should have stayed at the hospital until his buddy Severide woke up. Ugh, so lame...I honestly can't believe the writers did it. They robbed us of what could have been a great Sevasey broment just because they needed to shove more ChiMed's April in our faces....

OMG! I'd be soooo much better if Gabby went to medical school instead. Wasn't it a big dream of hers to become a doctor? Now is like the best time ever! Monica could have had her own show. The only thing she has to do is leave Casey alone and move on to ChiMed...

Sadly, I don't think Welch will return. They had only one spot on Squad to fill. Welch may be one hell of a firfighter and he is def much more experienced than Rice, but he is not a buddy of Lt.Severide...and from what I see, the next season can safely be called 'Severide and his friends' b/c the writers promised that Rice will play a major part in S4. And the Nurse April character was concieved solely in order to cross over CF and ChiMed spinoff, imo...

She is Christian Stolte's real daughter, so it's not surprising she has his eyes :)

Jeff Hephner's Agent X picked up by TNT, premieres in 2015 with 10 episodes. Am happy for the actor but still miss him on CF.He was the best addition to the original cast, imo...Sadly, it seems like a common trend that CF writers spend much effort and screen time to introduce the new characters (mostly FFs on Squad 3 ;)) and then the actors up and leave the show looking for greener pastures... I wonder if it'll be the case with Warren Christie who plays Rice - that new guy, Severide's school buddy...Secretly, I hope so 'cause I have a feeling that he will put a wedge between Casey and Severide, and I'd hate to see their bromance ruined. Besides, I don't find him interesting. He is like an odd cross between Severide, Newhouse and Herrmann - he looks like Kelly's clone, another single dad and is full of funny stories. A bit of an overkill to me :( The writers are on repeat again (which is not surprising b/c they now have three shows to attend to, ughh)...But I've read somewhere that Rice will play a MAJOR part next season :(

It was Monica Reymund's "brilliant" idea and she is very proud of it. She said she wanted to represent female firefighters and she felt she was good for that role. So she approached the producers with this idea. The rest is history..So, can we please have barfy Dawson off the show?!.
