I saw that Karen was getting her own spin off (YAWN BORING NO) so will she even be on next season? I have been wondering why that wasn't addressed at the reunion or maybe I had a vaccine fever dream and this is a fabrication in my head?

Candiace constantly gets painted as the worst housewife when it comes to her words and even Andy acts that way when he was kissing Tamra’s ass for 12 seasons acting like she was some kind of wonderful when she did many things worse than Candiace ever has said or done. I never saw anyone saying that Tamra deserved a beat down nor anyone rallying for Tamra to get off the show the way people do with Candiace. Clearly there are different standards

I’m not sure we’re watching the same show then, Candiace gets lambasted for things that other people do regularly and told that she deserves an ass beating for speaking words. I’m not looking for a debate because I already know how I feel about the situation and clearly so do you, agree to disagree

On these shows alone there are a lot of examples of white women setting their children up, helping them through college, early adulthood, down payments and extravagant weddings and I’ve never seen anyone have as much of a problem until Candiace got something. Dot is clearly a wealthy woman and she’s absolutely allowed to help her kids out however and whenever she sees fit whatever their age if she’s able to afford it. I feel people who are mad about Candiace are upset because they don’t want to see her succeed or have what she wants in life. I don’t know if it’s colorism or just plain hate for someone and wanting to see them fail but in this case I have to believe it’s both.

She’s not responsible to reveal what Dorothy did or did not put down on her home, if she qualified for a loan for x amount without Dorothy’s name on the mortgage or deed then she did acquire the home on her own. Maybe Dorothy gave a gift but when someone gifts you something, it becomes yours.

I don’t understand why this is a problem? My parents, my husbands mom and our grandparents all gave us generous contributions to put down on our house when we bought it and not one of them calls our house theirs, feels like they have some stakeholders claim in it or would ever hold it over our heads so we will bend to their demands. A gift is a gift, it doesn’t mean Dorothy owns their home.

I wonder how Giz would’ve felt if Karen would’ve clocked her when she wore that shirt about Ray? Or if Wendy had punched her lights out when she started talking about Eddie cheating on her and her surgeries? If we’re playing the game where we can justify an ass beating because of words that someone says then let’s talk about when everyone in the cast has done something that makes another person upset, how about if Candiace, instead of saying her mom was low budget, went and punched Mia when she said her video was low budget? It makes no sense because it’s not sensible and at any moment one of them should be expecting a physical altercation when they say something nasty.

If Candiace is broke, what is Gizelle? I'd love for her to let us all know!

I actually like Ashley and Candiace, but Candiace would be more of a loss because the storylines pretty much revolve around her, if she were gone they'd be sitting around talking about.....breastfeeding? One or three wick candles? Gizelle clearly doesn't want to share her own life on the show, Robyn's life is boring and Juan wants no part of the show, Karen has funny moments but she isn't really setting the world on fire. Wendy? Pass! Who am I missing? Oh! Mia. Pass again. They need some fresh people on this show, keep Gizelle, Candiace, Mia (because a second season is pretty much necessary to know if they're good or not) and demote Robyn and Ashley because Gizelle needs some friends.

I think the biggest problem is saying that Candiace deserves a beat down because of the things that come out of her mouth and that's not only absurd but it reflects poorly on the person doing the beating more than it does the person doing the talking. That's why Mo ended up being the villain in that situation because not only did she serve Candiace a beat down, she lied about it and acted like she deserved it even after people told her that it was wrong. These people included her husband, pastor and "friends" on the show that then didn't want to be associated with her. You can certainly take things too far when someone tests your patience with their words but most people won't want to deal with you in the aftermath and that's their prerogative. Basically everyone on this show has said some sideways shit about someone else but no one to my recollection has had it expressed so many times that they deserve a beat down, and therein lies the problem. The RHONY women are all vicious and rude in their own ways, they've all said some crazy shit at one time or another and none more than Ramona but I don't ever recall reading she deserves her ass beat. There is something about Candiace that invokes a reaction of people thinking she deserves physical violence and that's not really normal.

A little confused on how it’s clear that Candiace knew about Mia’s mom because Candiace knew about Ashley’s mom being the way she is and never said anything untoward that we saw about her even when Ashley was screaming in her face in Dot’s house. Candiace and Ashley have been vile towards each other and she could’ve brought Ashley’s mom and her inability to even afford a damn tent let alone a nice home to help Ashley out but she didn’t. I may be in the minority but I don’t see any fault solely lying with Candiace and if Mia feels comfortable talking to Dot about Chris and Candiace’s finances then she should expect Candiace to say something in return. Your mother is your mother, Mia is some random Candiace really doesn’t know so of course she’s going to be more concerned on why she’s talking about Chris than her mother doing it especially when she’s well aware of the reason her mother does it. Just my 2 cents

I am confused by the preview, is Mia really crying and pretending like Candiace would be the reason why her mother relapsed when no one would know hide nor hair of that woman if Mia hadn’t dragged her ass on TV and given her multiple dressing downs about how bad of a mother she was all while crying and pulling the “Mommy I just want us to move forward” BS? Mia needs to check herself and realize that on a TV show like this one, people can and will take shots at whatever you have given them to take shots at, right or wrong. Especially when you’re coming at things that they hold important. Mia shouldn’t be on this show and her husband is a disgusting old man who might end up worse than Demon Darby. The phone conversation about the fully loaded G Wagon was super tacky. Yuck. I felt Wendy was the Zen Wen she keeps talking about today and came with the voice of reason and without her attitude, maybe it is Robyn and Gizelle that are putting her hackles up and she doesn’t have a problem without them there. She even gave Ashley a nice welcome so I have to assume she just gets on the defense around the GEB.

I actually find this to be a very attractive cast (probably one of the most attractive RH casts) and Giz is in her 50s looking the way she does....I'd love to be as "boxy and wrinkled" as Giz is when I hit my 50s. I have actually watched this episode again because I love Karen's edited fever dream and the faces she was making, I just wish it weren't connected to the vaccine.

Mia really should keep her mother off this show because it seems exploitive at this point to continue having her come on camera and lambast her, put her problems out there completely and complain about what she does for her other children that are probably a lot more in need of her help than Mia is. I can't imagine it's fun to get dressed down every time you see someone either, especially in front of your grandchildren, no matter what your problems in the past. Her mother served her time and Mia is allowed to feel any way she wants and do things on her own time but it doesn't need to be televised for some boss babe self made storyline. Candiace is actually one of my favorites and I can't believe the amount of hate she gets for being "shady" and deserving of a beat down vs. everyone else who is also shady and sometimes more so. I think she's beautiful, has good style, is funny and has really good one liners that don't seem to be coming from the script book. She doesn't pop off until someone screws her over IMO and never appears to come out of the gate gunning for someone. I also enjoyed that she laughed off Grace damaging her tire and her actually having faith in the girl even though she is a terrible driver. Dot did a number on her for sure but as of right now I am enjoying Candiace. Wendy annoys me but as soon as someone told me they were considering not letting me use their restroom at a party they invited me to on a construction site, I'd be asking for my bottle of Moet back. Let me grab that, thank YOU! Askale is so cute and I think she is super level headed until someone gets on her nerves and she gets them together like she did with Mia, I wish we could see more of her life because as of now I am thinking she would've been a better fit than Mia.

FCM is clearly off the hinges and so pressed by Candiace's mere existence that she has to send her flying monkeys to take care of her long after they're no longer associated? Sounds like a mentally stable person to me! Shame on Mia for getting involved in that foolery.

Wendy looked really beautiful in her office with Eddie wearing the leopard print top that didn't have Happy and Ness positively spilling out of it and it made me wonder why she is always more covered up around Eddie at home than she is when she goes out with the girls? Maybe because her kids are there? I can't put my finger on Wendy this year, I didn't love her last year but I liked her and I thought she was beautiful before the surgeries as well as after. I really think she looked amazing postpartum (as opposed to my troll self) and it made me feel sad to hear that she felt bad about herself when she watched the show because its already hard without adding cameras and public scrutiny. Messy Mia? Not my style. I couldn't believe her alleging that she and Chris had relations in the past and I thought she prided herself on being sweet and nice with that saccharine voice she does but she's shown her true colors now. Searching Candiace's IG for a picture of her chipped toenail polish? GTFO. Juan is hot but he can kick rocks with no shoes on for the way he treats Robyn. Mickey Demon Darby is the grossest man and I hope for Ashley's swift departure. Please stop worrying about supporting your leech family and just get your little coin and get out of there, Ash.

What really stood out for me is that when Gabe was talking about being closer with siblings, the only person he mentioned was Gwen. He doesn’t give a crap about Aurora, the other “triplet.” He and Gwen really do look like twins though!

What on earth happened to Ramona’s face (namely her nostril?) in her talking heads?

Uhhhh I haven’t read anything in the thread yet but I’m left thinking....if all he could think about was Cassie, and the only person he wanted to see was Cassie.....WTF was he doing telling all those girls he was falling for them and furthermore asking their DADS to give him their blessing to marry their daughter. While he’s thinking about Cassie? Seems pretty sick to me.
