  1. Pot? Kettle! But change "entertaining" to "IRRITATING!!!"
  2. I bet she learned to say that for her "how to deal with grief" speaking tour. This is her script, "Be as present as possible at (insert holiday, birthday, or special event here) because you never know when it's the last one with a loved one." (Sorry to hog the forum; I'll leave now)
  3. I thought it was an odd accessory and JUST KNEW it was going to light up and blink at the appropriate times to entertain me. Nope...CoffeeWineWater was right again! She's John McCain's daughter! She don't got no steenkin' ruuuuules !!!
  4. Maybe if Whoopi reminds her a time or two, "I AM THE MODERATOR. I TAKE US TO COMMERCIAL," her amateur antics will stop...at least for awhile.
  5. Speaking of her nails reminds me about her hands. She seems to wear "fingerless gloves" all the time now. Some are pretty; some are very strange looking, but all are color-coordinated, of course. I'm six years older than Dolly and another with fair skin (and freckled--lucky me!). The backs of my hands do look pretty bad, but I'm too lazy to color coordinate anything--or to remember my gloves.
  6. And it's not like this is the FIRST time...or the SECOND...or the................... We get it! We got it!
  7. She means VETS as a generic voting bloc ... not individual men and women who have personalities, needs, and opinions.
  8. I agree. He stopped being enjoyable years ago. I'm happy for Tim that at least some found him enjoyable at one time. I've always had close male friends and if/when they hit on me (in my much younger days) I just let them know how disappointed I was. The friendships continued...but these were all from elementary/high school days. I live in my hometown...well, in the next city over.
  9. At that age it's easy to be physically attracted to almost any friendly female.
  10. It IS more on him...but she can't be some innocent flower (in the way I've decided to write the show). I've been there! I asked the supposed hottie if she couldn't wait until my kids finished high school (they were 9 and 11). She said, "Shouldn't you be talking to him?" I said, "Do you think I haven't? Do you think I didn't do EVERYTHING before having to speak to YOU?" (I had known her for two years; she was his secretary. She came to parties at our house; she greeted me sweetly when I picked him up for lunch...while she was _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ him).
  11. I had no clue, so I looked it up. You're right. Diagnosis: July 2017. Megan's job: October 2017.
  12. She's not Catholic but attended a Catholic girls' prep school (high school) because it has the reputation for the best education in the state. Her general religious background is Baptist.
  13. What's her excuse for her first season? I agree...but she wasn't a "host," and she hadn't figured out that she has to "make sparks" in order to be relevant (in her mind) on television. Her voice in the clip you posted is so much nicer and easier to hear.
  14. But, MaggieMae, as soon as Abby learns to spell "Fiona," she can write her in!
  15. Meghan does act like a brar, but I don't think it's fair to make this comment. She's fully capable of being a rude spoiled person without mental health issues and unless she mentions it we shouldn't assume or say it. People can have "mental health issues" and function just fine. They all don't need therapy and/or medication (although it surely can help). Many of us think Meghan has mental health issues ... that doesn't mean "mental illness."
  16. I like to believe that Brendan was the same age as the step-brother when his dad "moved on," so it was heartbreaking to look at that little brother's face and think of cute, sweet little (yet unscathed) Brendan. It was sad to see Brendan toss away Stripey (that he found...did not "take"). I wish the writers had the same idea as a poster...to call and say he found it. You KNOW the parents would have to turn around and pick it up.
  17. Because you're the selfish little "hottie," who (most likely) broke up a family and you're not happy that SOMEONE now needs/takes all your money, time, energy, and attention--and your paramour's? Daddy will NOT visit Number One Son alone. You're not first anymore? Boo and Hoo!
  18. "While we thrill at watching Eve open up to the world, it's going to be equally challenging to find the empathy to follow Brendan on his mirror journey." I don't "thrill" at much Eve's putting me through--and until the most recent episode definitely did not have any empathy for Brendan. I DO NOW! I can see every despicable action of the kid's for the past ten years as cries for help. At least wanting to be noticed...maybe even loved. His father neglected everyone while finding a younger mate...perhaps getting her pregnant and having to dump his original family...and everyone suffers. P.S. We've had enough of Kathryn Hahn with her "hahns" down her pants. Give her more to do "down there."
  19. Today we saw Meghan .0 just like when she first arrived...goin' for bear (Joy) and not breaking a smile for anything. Judgmental Sourpuss! I hope she continues to not want children. What a fuddy duddy she is and would be when anything of a sexual nature is even joked about. And she can't simply ignore the comments, she has to mumble...condom, porn... I'm old enough to be her grandmother--(and then some!) and I'm stunned by her prudishness at least weekly.
  20. Missy's bedside table...with room for The Constitution, autographed photo of Dolly Parton, autographed guitar from Shooter Jennings, tiny framed picture of Clay Aiken, myriad awards, and room for more.
  21. Thanks, Rainy...this bears repeating!
  22. But you, GoldenGirl, might have somewhere else to go...something interesting and valuable to do. Not. Missy. McCain.
  23. The bolding is mine. I think the difference is that somehow Abby felt "left out" and not as smart or accomplished as her siblings...and she has those stories of sitting alone. Meghan on the other hand was (apparently) the perfect little princess and encouraged in all things (ALL THINGS!) by her father.
  24. If one has time for a discussion, there's a way. She didn't know what she was getting into. Even though she tried to tell him after the fact, it didn't seem to make much difference. He probably thinks clothes are clothes. They're not dirty, so what's the problem?
