  1. I am so annoyed by the technical score box. Tara and Johnny keep harping on how the GOE is so important, and we don't even see the GOE; we have to calculate it. Why are they making us do math?

And showing the "Max possible" for the ice dancing is ridiculous. Don't they have base values and GOEs? If not, what have we been looking at on every other competition?

  2. The practice definitely needs some kind of discipline when it comes to records and bookkeeping, but they don't need someone full time. Hopefully they can find a happy medium.

I really like this episode; I'm glad Siegfried found a solution for keeping the cow on the farm, although I'm surprised the farmer didn't come up with it on his own.

Did anyone have any thoughts about Adam deciding to spontaneously do a backflip during (I think?) the choreo sequence? I think it would have worked for me more if his program had been flawless and it was a way to kind of put his excitement on display. Here it maybe came across a little show offy? As if it didn't matter to him that he'd lose points even with a shaky program because no one at this event is near his level. I didn't mind it, but it didn't seem like the right moment to have that kind of DGAF moment. Or maybe I'm juat overanalyzing it. 🤷🏽‍♀️

It was a cocky move - it wasn't the best back flip I've seen, either.

Is it just me or does anyone else think that the Talk Back, the Look Back and How's it Going all show the same scenes over and over. I know that I have seen the one with Robyn breaking down and storming off the set probably 4 time if not more. And the ones with Robyn, Meri and Kody at the picnic bench numerous times.

I can't keep them all straight, and I actually watched one of the episodes twice because I couldn't figure out if I had seen it before or just the preview clips. It doesn't help that they have a "recap" clip, then a "coming up" clip then the actual scene then a "next on Sister Wives" clip.

  5. I'm glad Julia decided to stay. I'm not very familiar with her real-life show, so I was actually surprised at her decision.

I was thinking how, in "Moneyball", Brad Pitt's character said that after bypassing a college scholarship and then crashing and burning in the majors, he promised himself he would never make a major decision based on money.

  6. I stopped watching this show when they were in Las Vegas, and picked it back up for this season when I read about all the wives leaving. I was expecting real DRAH-MAH, but it's just annoying. How can these people be on television and still be so self-unaware?

Standing in the street:  They should not have had Harriet and Elizabeth talking in the middle of the street.  I was expecting them to get run over.

That was stressful, watching that. I would think Elizabeth would have had a bad reaction - akin to her not wanting the office/lab doors closed - and insisted they go to the sidewalk.

And then she RUNS down the middle of the street at night!

Chock and Bates did not get full credit for any of their elements.  Is that typical in ice dancing? I saw many men and women single skaters getting much larger numbers.

On the ice dancing, instead of showing the base value they were showing the "max value". I have no idea why they do that.

I really dislike the "show the base and final value" they are doing for the other disciplines on this event; I like the "show the base and grade of execution" much better. Why are they making us do math?

But won't Covid protocols dictate that Stephen would still have to do his part remotely? — especially with Jon's wife's recent bone marrow transplant.
Too bad, but it's a good reminder to his many viewers to take proper health precautions as we enter the cold & flu (etc.) season.

Hopefully they can reschedule Jon for another night. I don't know how busy he is these days, and I don't want a "shoehorned in" interview; they have such chemistry!

Re COVID: It's still around, obviously. I heard on the radio today that 100 people/day are dying from it.

Finally hit me — the voice of the big-boobed Betazoid was the voice actor for The Owl Lady from (RIP :( ) The Owl House.

They got some great guest voices - Not only Wendie Malick but also Janelle James (Abbott Elementary) and Rachel Dratch.
