I find myself singing this song every now and then, from the show "It's a Living":

Oh, the PMS episode ("Bad Moon Rising") - always cracks me up. "You're on me like a monkey on a cupcake!"
Love the frog lady episode - "She ate a FLY" - especially the end where Robert accidentally causes a tray of drinks to spill over a lady in a bar, who turns out to be Amy. The audience gasp at that reveal was priceless!
But I think my favorite is "Halloween Candy", where Frank accidentally hands out condoms to the trick or treaters. Classic comedy, and Frank and Marie as Frankenstein and the Bride of Frankenstein always cracks me up!

I don't know if it was a "great" show, but I loved it - and that was "Xena: Warrior Princess". After Xena and Gabrielle "died", it just sucked.

I think you mean Jay, not Phil.
Yes I did - thank you!

I love those Phil/Mitchell moments in this episode. Mitchell's expressions when Phil was telling him about discovering his love of - *gasp* - DOG SHOWS were priceless!

I have never gotten into ANY vampire series. I remember back when I was in school everyone talked about "Dark Shadows". I just have never understood the attraction.

I mean, for example, I still find Brady Bunch episodes fully entertaining, and I'd argue the same about most Lucy episodes. Whereas something like My Three Sons or The Dick Van Dyke Show doesn't seem to hold it's value as well. And really none of that makes sense.
See, I'm the exact opposite; I really love the old B/W programs but can't watch The Brady Bunch. Different strokes, I guess.

I remember as a teen I loved "Wonder Woman" - I knew it was camp, but Linda Carter was so perfect. I've been watching the reruns on MeTV every Saturday, and I can't believe how corny it is. (Linda Carter spinning into Wonder Woman is still one of my favorite TV moments, though!)

1.) Do something DEEPLY and fundamentally different from the other current American talk shows -- Graham Norton style "all at once" interviews. This could be a VITAL point of difference between Colbert and the others. If someone with the ability to reach the Colbert folks somehow reads this I beg of you to actually drop this idea in the right ears.
I think that's a GREAT idea!

I don't like sitcoms that think "vagina" is funny. I have never heard that word said in "real" life other than for medical-type discussions, and that includes my drunk bunco nights with 11 other women.

Xena, to me, either jumped it as soon as they went to India (when they met Eli and Gabrielle gave up violence) or once they had been crucified. Ugh, "Angel Callisto"...
I thought Xena jumped the shark after they were crucified and resurrected. What was that all about? I missed Joxer...

Howard is probably one of the characters who has changed the most since the show's inception. In fact, two of my favourite episodes are Howard-centric and involve them delving into his backstory -- the one where Penny insults him and he becomes depressed, and the episode where he finds the letter from his father and doesn't want to read it. I got pretty choked up by the end of that one, too.
The letter episode was wonderful - it showed the real affection these characters have for each other.

Have Leonard's and Sheldon's mothers met? THAT would be epic!

Was Amy imagined as an ongoing character from the start?

I gotta say, I teared up a little when Claire was telling Phil how he made her laugh.
And I freaked out a little when Mitchell ruined his comic book!
