I understand. It only played out the way it did last year because VK was stupid enough to get caught in a lie and put on over 10 pounds in training camp. Regardless, I fully believe that Tina would not let VK audition again without some assurances that she'd make the team.

In case anyone has forgotten of the ridiculous favoritism that was shown VK last season, Kelli awarded her a Barbie based on her finals routine. SMGDH. Mark my words, if she's at auditions this year, she will make semis, she will make finals, and she will make the team. It doesn't matter what she does or what she looks like. The fix is IN.

Victoria still lacks the necessary control, and she is still too heavy for DCC. I'm sure all that will be ignored though.

Sorry if this is old news, but I just started watching "Special" on Netflix, and Kat is in the first episode.

If VK shows up at auditions, she'll make the team. I'm hoping (irrationally, because it won't happen) that she'll be counseled to not audition. She can't control her dancing any more than she can control her weight. Plus, she (and her mom) is a major mean girl who causes drama.

VK is not just what you saw televised (which was bad enough). She's definitely a "mean girl" who stirred up a lot of drama. I'm sure many of the vets are already stressed about the prospect of having her in training camp again.

The problem with Victoria is that she has literally been told her entire life how pretty she is and what an amazing dancer she is. If you're told that for as long as she has been told that, you just believe it. She is average--at best--in both categories, but she and Tina will never be able to see that.

I bet you that Christina sought assurances from Kelli that her boob job wouldn't impact the contractual requirement that she maintain her audition weight given that those honkers would add a few pounds.

If Victoria tries out this year, she WILL make the team. Tina is refusing to allow her daughter to be "humiliated" again without some "assurances."

Yes, let's all remember that VK said she had a thyroid issue, Jinelle set her up with a doctor's appointment, and Victoria never even showed up (and didn't even let Jinelle know that she wasn't showing up). And if that isn't bad enough, then gets shitty with Jinelle (in front of Kelli!) when called out on it in Kelli's office. Was that enough to get her cut? NOPE! And that is NOTHING compared to how Victoria behaved behind the scenes. The level of entitlement, immaturity, and self-delusion with her is mind boggling. As a result, she caused MAJOR drama for everyone else during training camp. I mean, several of the girls had a (very secret) celebration the night she was cut. If they bring her back into training camp, it will show what a farce the audition process really is.

As much as I have enjoyed this show in the past, I hope there will not be another season. The reality show aspect has really compromised the quality of the squad -- what was once a team of world-class entertainers is now just a process that exploits girls for the sake of drama/ratings. Plus, I always knew that some girls got special treatment, but the free pass that Victoria got last season demonstrated just how bad it is -- from the judges being told to not criticize Victoria, to her being kept around despite a MASSIVE weight gain, to her immature tantrum involving Janelle (the worst of which was edited out of the show), to Victoria tattling on other girls and getting them in trouble -- it just revealed too much of how the sausage is made. So for the sake of this organization, I hope they quit now so as to not further tarnish the organization.

Please fire Kelli.

I too think Kelli should be fired, but even if she's allowed to remain, they need to hire someone else to supervise the photo shoots and select the photos. Kelli sucks at it.

I feel sorry for Maddie, given her current position in the triangle she’d probably think she has a good shot at point next year (given that Lacey and Kashara are retiring). But there’s no way K & J would do that. I bet there was some concern this year with putting her where they did given her less than sexy shape and her cute, but not beautiful, face. I think when she realizes she doesn’t get point, she’ll know it’s because of her looks. That’ll hurt.

Am I the only one who is glad to see this shit show come to a close tonight? I want to quickly forget this season ever happened and just pray that VK find something else to do.

This will be an unpopular opinion, but I won't miss Kashara. I have problems with young women who play up how "country" and ignorant they are as a means of appearing cute. It's Kelli Pickler's whole routine, and I would prefer young ladies who aren't afraid to improve their minds and show their intelligence.

I agree. Christina should have been cut. She's a weak dancer and a total diva.
