  1. ‘Buffy’s Nicholas Brendon Shades David Boreanaz: ‘Angel’ Was ‘More Boring’ Than ‘Twilight’ In a new interview, 'Buffy' star Nicholas Brendon talks about how 'boring' David Boreanaz's character Angel was on the show, wondering why the 'brooding little guy' got his own spin-off. https://hollywoodlife.com/2022/03/16/buffy-the-vampire-slayer-nicholas-brendon-shades-david-boreanaz-angel/
  2. Courtney Cox plus Neil Patrick Harris (was in HIMYM with Aly) plus Jim Belushi (was in Race the Sun with Eliza Dushku).
  3. Yes, because that's kinda obvious. Of course, he does. It sucks to be Xander, after all. So instead of caring about someone as mundane as himself, Xander cares about the Only Woman He Has Ever Truly Loved...
  4. Buffy was lucky most of her nemeses were as dumb as that Judge guy.
  5. I don't think it was too wise of Angel to make hints about his supposed homosexuality to a girl he wanted to have sex with... Then again
  6. I'm right here with ya. And what's interesting, Willow doesn't try to talk Xander out of his decision to follow Buffy. It's as if she knows him being there will end up in gross humiliation of Mr. Harris on one hand or Xander providing the gang with needed information during the episode's climax on the other.
  7. Maybe I'm wrong here, but isn't Giles' duty to fight the forces of darkness, protect mankind and help his Slayer, not satisfy her every whim? It can be either a hard choice or just incompetence. It's like: yeah, Angel has killed Jenny and Joss knows how many others but since Buffy likes him, screw everything else. I admit I'm kinda biased but the way I see it Buffy's precious feelings for Angel do not have to be Giles' main concern.
  8. Gosh, Dogboy, you're Captain Obvious now... Oz had to nearly screw-up Willow's new blossoming love, almost eat Tara and get his arse handed to him by the Initiative scientific team to learn this simple truth.
  9. Judging from the turn of events in this episode we might as well come to conclusion that every other woman in Sunnydale, who is not Cordelia (including Amy), turns out to be "Xander's beloved". The guy seems to be the biggest womanizer not only in Buffyverse, but in the history of television.
  10. Brilliant analysis. As usual. OTOH don't expect too much sense when it comes to a character whose (probably) sole aim in the show was to play the role of Willow's perfect boyfriend, some antipode to that uncool insensitive jackass Xander. Then again, I don't wanna sound boring here, but what if the reason for Oz's odd behavior is quite simple? What if he's jealous and wants to make sure no one threatens his position as Willow's "first and only one"? What if he's overheard Xander's confession to Coma!Willow and just guards "his territory"? What if Oz is a possesive jerk?
  11. For twenty years I keep wondering what's exactly so "funny" about Oz...
  12. Yes, but IIRC the Scoobs wanted neither Vampire!Buffy nor Zombie!Buffy to rise up as a result of the spell. They expected Buffy to come back from the dead her normal self. And even Slayer strength (as we saw later) was no guarantee from having a deep psychological trauma from waking up buried in the coffin... I think digging yourself out of the grave takes a little bit longer than just pulling the head out of the water.
  13. Does Miss Rosenberg know where she lives? Does she remember Sunnydale's on top of the Hellmouth and thus all kinds of weird shit happen here all the time? Besides, it seems kinda strange that while Willow (with a little help from Tara) were researching the "bring Buffy back" spell for quite a while (probably all summer along) and
  14. Too late. Jenny can play with this "toy" all by herself from now on...
  15. That's just Anya saying something. I don't think she's a credible source. She likes to exaggerate things.
  16. Good observation. Although I'm glad there were no waterworks from Xander. Tears are for "cool" characters like Spike. I mean, Xander isn't even remotely cool: he doesn't have Giles' "superior intelect", Oz's rock star aura or Spike's badassery. OTOH no one saw him crying. This has to mean something, right?
  17. Gee, the last time they set like this they played footsie under the table... Are these the same table and the same class we saw in Band Candy? I find it kinda strange (weird even) that post-fluke Willow agreed to be that close to someone who nearly destroyed her relationship with One of Best Guys Ever. Besides, isn't Oz going to be positively furious if he finds out?
  18. As much as I don't like to admit it I have to offer Miss Summers an apology. At first I thought bad of her seeing as she kept photo with two of her supposed best friends on some old bookcase in the Casa Summers' basement. Why would she keep it there, I wondered. One more proof to my "Buffy never really liked Will & Xand and never considered them fully as friends" theory. But then I decided to pay attention. And it made my heart melt. Both, the photo and the fact Buffy still likes Willow and Xander...
  19. What if having Daddy Wilkins by her side might make Faith even more reckless? I know nothing can beat the recklessness of sleeping with a 200+ y. o. vamp but still... As much as I respect your opinion... Giles?? Are we talking about the same Giles who swallowed his pride and let his lover's killer and his own tormentor continue walking the earth? The same Giles who didn't even try to avenge Jenny's death after learning Fang was back in town? The same Giles who did absolutely nothing after Buffy spat on Jenny's grave and continued dating Angel like nothing's happened, putting everyone around in danger since it was only a matter of time until Buffy's hormones got the best of her and she gave Forehead another moment of perfect happiness? I don't see why should Faith take Tweed Boy seriously? You certainly have a point here. Buffy values Willow's life more than she values Xander's so Faith is really skating on thin ice here. But that's what we know. From Faith's point of view? She knows she got away with nearly killing Xander. Faith almost took the life of one of Buffy's (supposedly) best buds and Miss Summers didn't even chastice her. I don't remember Buffy telling Faith: "If you lay a finger on my friend Xander ever again I will fucking end you, you fucking slut!" But no, Buffy was in "we must save Faith" mood. Faith wasn't told to apologize to Xander, she was welcomed back into the gang and allowed to continue patrolling so...
  20. Giles would've been dancing in tutu in front of Buffy & Xander if it served his "cause".
  21. We don't know Olivia's exact age. Well, I don't know to be precise. Maybe she and Giles didn't screw for 5, 10 or 15 years... As for G-Man supposedly lying regarding his sex life... Wasn't he a part of some very very secret & powerful organization which had to hide its own existence from the outside world. I mean, deception was Giles' job...
