  1. I really want to like this show. But they are making it too crazy. Everyone has a secret. Everyone is a quasi-double agent. None of it is making any sense to me.

Me too. I'm very close to putting it out of my misery.

  2. I hated this episode. I cannot stand watching "Crazy Carrie." It just seems so... ridiculous.

The ending with Allison and Saul in bed together made no sense based on their private cold verbal interactions prior to that regarding Allison's job and being sent back to the US. Wouldn't he have explained things to her differently if they were lovers?

    In total agreement

  3. Jamie says to Frank: "I'd like you to consider putting up an advisory committee to study how the department can do a better job in dealing with the mentally ill."

I say to Jamie "Be careful what you wish for"

This will the theme for a future episode. You can bet on it.

  4. TGND (Thank God No Danny) except for one wisecrack at the dinner table. "Ya can't save 'em all."

I really thought the mentally ill girl was killed by the father. (wrong)

I also knew it was one of the cops at the initial meeting in the alley and then seconds later the gun appears.

Danny's sons, the grandfather, and Erin's daughter are a waste of time (and money).

  5. Jeez, casting really came up with some crappy, unmemorable teams this season. It's actually making me miss last season - at least the Dating Game version was a somewhat recognizable TAR. This has turned into a waste of my time every Friday night.

Totally agree. Not one team that I can get behind to root for. For me the only likable teams have been eliminated (dancers & little people).

  6. I really didn't understand the opening scene in which the cops just let Gabby wander into a crime scene and then, after everything that has happened to Casey (and we don't know details other than it is clearly bad), she gets the money shot.  I didn't need a 30 second close-up of her being sad, I wanted to follow Casey out the door and see his reaction.  Since, you know, the bad thing happened to him.

I thought Kelly was a bad leader at the end of the first half of the season when he decided Casey was to blame for all the tension between truck and squad, but I don't understand how he just got blamed for Vargas' and Mills' (first) departure.  They didn't leave because of Kelly; they were injured on the job and no one at the time blamed Kelly for that.  I don't know what I think about the new lieutenant; why would he want Kelly to stay when he knows it will make the transition harder for the other men.  And then setting down an ultimatum to Kelly in front of the others?  That is just begging Kelly to leave, in which case his platitude about wanting Kelly on his team rings pretty hollow.

The couple showing up at Molly's was ridiculous.  That is a story line I hope resolves itself quickly, which means that is the one that will drag through the rest of the season.

Show should be renamed "Gabby Dawson - Chicago Fire."

IMHO she gets much too much screen time and she's not that important to the show.

  7. I thought I remembered him seeing it in the woods, away from the road, and then after it speeds off (and upwards) then he turns and sees the car that hits him?

(Plus, didn't they deduce that wasn't the killer's shoe in the tree? I have to go back and rewatch now.)

It definitely was Culkin's shoe. Watch the preview on the first post.

  8. Question: What year was the first season of Fargo set? I'm trying to figure out Molly's age then compared to her six year old self in this season.

Season 1 was 2006 and Season 2 is 1979, as per Wikipedia.

  9. I want PeterMills back!  I don't understand why the show let him go :(

I couldn't believe the people who moved next door to Molly's.  You move next to a bar in downtown Chicago and then have the audacity to complain about the noise?  WTF?!

I hope that Steven McQueen's acting has improved since TVD.  He wasn't terrible on that show, but he always came off a bit wooden.  I'm pretty sure that he and Chilli will be an item in like two episodes cause this show moves FAST.

You can bet you haven't seen the last of those two. This was the setup for recurring complaints and maybe more against Molly's

  10. The neighborhood residents wanted the house to burn because it was being used for drug activity. Mouch saw someone from the ladder but it was too late to save whoever it was inside the drug house. Then the neighboring house became collateral damage when the roof blew.

  11.

Well, I like Simon more now, not really sure why. I love Shelby and Nimah still, and I still dislike Can't Act Caleb. Man, that 'drunk' scene was so bad.

Did you really expect good acting from an actor out of "Revolution"

  12. Mostly while he was dead and having ghost sex, but whatever.

I thought that Howard Lyman (will always be Hesch to me) looked like he had not aged well and I discovered that Jerry Adler, who has been in many, many of my favorite shows is actually 86 years old. Amazing.

Can't wait to hear the back story on why JDM can afford to turn down $250,000 a year and take a chance on Alicia and associates.

I don't think he turned it down. When he returned to Alicia he said he'd accept but "not exclusive" which led me to believe he'd be working both sides of the fence.

  13. Same here. That's why I don't like JDM.

Didn't say I liked him, Just that JDM reminds me of DD. His character on GA became quit overbearing.

I love Jeffrey Dean Morgan so I'm happy he's on this show. Obviously he's the new love interest (duh)  but I don't feel like Alicia deserves him.

Seems as if Grace is more interested in JDM than Alicia (for now).
