  1. Heaven has a "Seven Years Later" title card? Well okay then.
  2. Yeah. After having not watched this season at all, I did watch the last 10 minutes. You can tell it was a bit tacked on there, the very end, but let's just say I'm not complaining.
  3. Deadline is probably THE most accurate. During castings, actors often refresh that site to see if a role has been filled and stuff. What garbage this is to not even ask Stana! Castle is another show in a long list of shows this season to treat its female characters/leads like absolute trash. I hope the show is cancelled.
  4. Yesterday was a good day all around I guess, because Melissa had a baby boy yesterday too! Edit: And Joe's wife had a baby boy a week ago, so maybe they'll be playmates ;)
  5. I think so too. Last night's ratings, where Fox aired new shows instead hoping to take advantage of The Simpson's decent ratings I guess, didn't pan out so well. I think it's a mistake all around because B99 really did seem to fit better on Sunday. Maybe if the new Sunday shows really do bomb, they'll move it back.
  6. That's a great point. I think Fox assumes B99 has a base audience and hopefully it can boost some of the other shows. And I think while Fox seems to like Andy (I think he was the one who convinced the network to take on the show; and I think he/The Lonely Island were developing some animation stuff for Fox too? Not sure), ultimately it's still a business and they'll cut things if it's not worth it for them. But hopefully some of these other factors can balance all that out! It's sort of comforting that 98% of Fox's shows aren't doing well at all so they can't get rid of everything!
  7. I think it's bad. B99 is not owned by Fox. And like the Mindy Project, it can be canned before season 4 (despite syndication opportunities after 88 episodes) because of it. So if B99 and a bunch of shows aren't doing well, I think it's more likely that they'll cancel it over shows they do own. Tuesday's right now are already are a graveyard for Fox re: ratings. And being sandwiched between Grandfathered and The Grinder (getting 1.0 and subfractional ratings atm), I'm not really hopeful. At least on Sunday's it got a little boost from football and The Simpson's before it. I dunno. I'm really sad about this. Mostly because I think the show deserves a lot of seasons and I don't think it will get them. But who knows, maybe it will defy expectations.
  8. I completely disagree 100% with the article. I find this show has done pretty much everything right, especially in regards to the relationship with Jake and Amy. Not to drag other shows into it, but Parks never "grabbed" me the same way B99 does. In the same way, Leslie and Ben (and the other couples) never really grabbed me even though their relationship was pretty well done. I'm pretty sure they need to establish the Jake and Amy thing right off, they'll be back into a more of an ensemble in no time.
  9. It was preempted in some markets for football though. It'll adjust down in the finals.
  10. Well there are other awards shows. I saw people say last night Andy's humour might be more suited to something like the Golden Globes. I thought he did a good job, the audience reaction sucked and it seemed to make him more nervous. Joining in with this too :(
  11. Not sure if you ever got an answer to this or figured it out but I'm pretty sure it was "oh you"! (I can't lie, I've watched Jake and Amy's interactions in this episode an embarrassing number of times).
  12. Well Charles has 3 dogs in the episode, including (what appears to be) the 2 the Holt gave him. I wouldn't consider it a continuity fail because I just assumed he got the third sometime after he'd been given the others.
  13. Yup! Similar thing for me, though I thought I had just seen a clip/preview and that's why it seemed familiar. But I went back and checked my dvds earlier today, it was a deleted scene from Full Boyle to be specific.
  14. I guess the disconnect and oddness from the cold open that people are noticing makes sense because the cold open is actually a deleted scene from the season 1 dvds. Strange, but I guess it highlighted the more 'friendshippy' Jake and Amy connection that they're building in this episode in particular (alongside of the romantic one they're also building in other episodes of course!).
