  1. We can only dream but I think the EPs are way to obsessed with KC to think something creative like this.
  2. This is why I really love seeing Oliver's character development when he is around Diggle and Felicity. And likely why I am a huge team arrow fan because they really do bring out the best in who he is trying to be.
  3. Actually the true OTP is Oliver and Sally, the salmon ladder, but Diggle is right up there ;)
  4. That explains it perfectly. The scene with Oliver telling Felicity and Dig that he was going to kill himself was so dang powerful and intense because they all rose to the same level of convincing storytelling. When the scene with Laurel and Oliver started, she immediately takes you out of that scene and your thoughts go to how horrible she is and not what the scene is trying to convey.
  5. How do we get you to the writers room? This would have been a better scene...
  6. Ugh... just the thought of her having that much involvement makes me ill. I'm not of the camp to stop watching Arrow after this season, but if they do put her into a heavier role like this over S3, I'm not sure how good the show will end up being. Watching Amell's "acting" in that scene in the lair with Laurel was so painful as it was, most of their scenes are (except for the one where he got to yell at her in the hallway - I swear he was taking out his agression during that one). Having her more integrated in every aspect of Oliver's life just will kill this show.
  7. The producers seem to want to give snippets of backstory, which to me are nothing more than teasing a child with a single M&M and saying you can't have the whole bag. We want to see Felicity's character develop outside of Oliver, outside of the Arrowcave (current or future). I love Diggle's character (and his arms are to die for) because they made an effort to give us true insight into the person he was. They don't do that with Felicity. They just throw these one-liners out so that people feel like they have something to grasp on to. Having a fan-favorite character treated like that is just another one of the producers' ways of trying to keep fans into the show without giving them much because they don't want to see her used the way the fans want to see her used (and I don't mean Olicity, just Felicity).
  8. This! How can the writers not see what they themselves have created?!
  9. Seriously though, there has to be SOMETHING going on for them to keep pushing her character like this. I wonder if it is worse for those of us who are not comic book savvy because we don't care about the canon of GA and BC? Or is it just hell for everyone seeing Laurel getting propped up on such a pedestal?
  10. Roy and Thea's relationship is one of the very few on this show that actually seemed realistic (at some level anyway). Up until recently, they acted as the most normal of all the couples on this show. She is the glue that holds him together, for better or worse. If we are to believe that Slade's love for Shado was so powerful to cause what is happening now, it is much easier to believe Roy and Thea's relationship.
