Does anyone else think the vet uniform presentation was a bit of a "slap in the face" to the vets released?
-
It's quite possible there was more to the conversation than what the TV audience was privy to.

This! ALL DAY LONG!
-
I believe they are allowed to take brief breaks for water/gatorade during the game to stay hydrated. I would certainly think they'd need to given the length of the games and as much time they are required to dance.

Thank you for the info!

Forgive me if I missed this on the boards, but did anyone figure who from the 37 is missing? There are only 36 on the field. And, interesting how the point changes from Amy to Maddie about 1/2 way through the routine.

Correction...I was informed MTT is Friday, AUG 23

Hopefully not, but it wouldn't surprise me if the final cut isn't delayed until the end of the week, or even early next week. I'm sure CMT and the producers of the show want to script and capture everything they can for the last few episodes to keep the audience in suspense. I have a friend who is supposed to go to Meet the Team and it's scheduled for next Thursday (Aug 22) I believe.

Different strokes is right! I'm not an advocate for publicly sharing personal opinions regarding physical appearance of the DCCs (especially in a negative way). Words are powerful weapons. That said, I've had favorites on the team over the last 13 seasons whose chosen cameos didn't always compliment their personal beauty at best in my opinion. On the other hand, others have had photos that have been very flattering and captured their appearance exceptionally well. Whatever our personal definitions of "attractive/not attractive" may be, I still believe in the old saying, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all!"

Brennan doesn't impress me as the type who would ever expect to be point. I believe, she will, however, give 100% at all times where ever they place her in the formation. We never saw Nicole B near the front in her long tenure as a DCC, but she is now one of the All-Stars I think, and is still a great ambassador for the organization. Every spot is important, AND....attitude and gratitude do make a difference.

Pretty sure that's Brennan in green near Maddie and Ciana.

I believe she helps choreograph some of the dances

Not sure what you mean by "rub out"

Why does she looks so familiar? Has she auditioned before?

I briefly got to congratulate Brennan in person for making the 2018 squad after the Thanksgiving halftime rehearsal with Megan Trainor (which I got to participate in b/c a friend was chosen through the JCP contest). She was genuinely nice and certainly seemed to appreciate my efforts to speak to her and offer my congrats. I've also appreciated how she expressed her gratitude for being a part of the organization during the podcasts she participated in. I believe she's been an amazing and positive ambassador this season for the Dallas Cowboys. All that to say, I know the competition is going to be tough this year (especially with so few vets retiring). But... I'm crossing my fingers she gets a second year!

ME TOOOOO!!!!!

I live in the area as well. I heard from a parent who's daughter was invited to Meet the Team night but can't go, thought it was scheduled for the 14th or possibly the 16th but couldn't remember. I agree, something is off.

I haven't and will not rewatch Brennan's exit interview from last year. That said, I don't recall Kelli saying DCC wasn't a good fit for her. I thought that conversation was with Whitney a few years ago. I could be wrong. But, I do remember getting the impression from Brennan's final comments that she was ready to close the door to the possibility of ever making the team at that time. At any rate, there quite possibly was more to the interview than we were allowed to see. All I know is many other (televised) exit interviews on the show for girls who've tried out many times and didn't make it seemed to be handled with much more heart felt appreciation and sincere thanks. If this is her year, BRAVO for her on not giving up on her dream. If it isn't, then I hope she can peacefully and confidently move on to other things that will be more rewarding and more fulfilling than anything the Cowboys organization could offer.

What pic are you seeing?

There seem to be a lot of opinions and observations about Brennan on this forum. Well, I personally don't know Brennan. Probably will never meat her. But, I do personally know someone who was on the squad for 4 years and went through the first TC with her. I even had the privilege of attending a few "Meet the Team" nights. That said, I'm definitely rooting for Brennan and hope she makes it. Here's why! The first TC she was cut, I didn't disagree with the reasons. She needed more time. Last year, however....a different story. If you recall, they did a short feature on her prior to her being cut from training camp. They went to her home, interviewed her, which all certainly seemed to give us the impression - no drama - no nonsense! Just a young lady who displayed complete dedication, hard work, respect for the organization and a clear passion to succeed. And then...during her exit...Kelli basically says "you look awkward, you're not the right fit, we're done...." She and Judy both came across as "We could not possibly cared less. We're bored, so let's just get this over with and move on". It was about as absent of appreciation and compassion for her time and hard work as you could possibly get. My point...why didn't Brennan deserve the same heartfelt empathy that Amy got a few seasons back (who tried out several times, was one of the last cuts, but simply wasn't the right fit), or the girl (can't remember her name) who's kicks were a deal breaker but had everything else going for her. She was clearly broken, and in return shown nothing but true appreciation from Kelli and Judy. In all 12 seasons of watching the show, last year's exit interview with Brennan was the without a doubt the worst one I've seen for someone who in every way appeared to be "giving their all." There have been others of course, but I think I've made my point. Whatever your opinions are about her appearance/looks...you're entitled to them. After reading so many unkind comments (and I hope she hasn't seen them) if I were in her shoes...after last year...not sure I would have returned. But...good for her for not letting anyone or anything stand in the way of trying again. All that to say...now they've featured her in a promo commercial. If (as speculated in this Forum) they are using her this season just for "ratings"....then, SHAME ON THEM! If they keep her up to the end of TC, and then cut her again... I will not watch this season or any other. No one should be humiliated for putting themselves through such a hard process; being kept for practically the entire duration of training, and then treated so coldly. Instead, if they have followed the rules, caused no problems or shown disrespect to the Cowboys organization, then they should absolutely have every reason to hold their heads high. This we know....the public can and will be cruel. Whether it's Brennan or any other vet or training camp candidate, they ALL deserve to be respected and shown appreciation for simply having the guts to try. Anxiously waiting to see how this turns out...

Does anyone know how many "rookies" are still in TC? Guessing TC could last into early August since home opener isn't until the 18th.

Thanks. I'm pulling for her.
