  1. Arya was awesome (and that's an understatement)! But I also loved all of Melisandre's scenes, down to her going out on her own terms. And Davos should scoop up her necklace afterwards. 🙂
  2. Cogman says of Theon and Sansa in the interview: "They both have a very long way to go, but they know that they have each other." Does this mean that Theon survives in Episode 3 (and perhaps even until the end of the story)?
  3. The article definitely says that it's Jon and Dany, not Sansa and Dany.
  4. ARYA TO SANSA: "Gendry and I forged a relationship."
  5. Cleganebowl, I suppose (since Sandor & Gregor fought in Season 1).
  6. If Robin has grown into a handsome hunk in Season 8, I'm sure some people will change their minds about him and Sansa real fast. 😉
  7. I'd like to think Sansa's final scene shows her hugging or standing beside a new direwolf companion, maybe from Nymeria's pack.
  8. No, it doesn't sound crazy at all. Tyrion's being a dwarf and Bran's being a cripple are facts in the story. Dany's infertility, at this point in the story, is still a conjecture. Mirri's prophecy does not necessarily make it a fact.
  9. Although I don't see this happening, I think Sansa and Jorah Mormont would make a good pair. I think Jorah's capacity for loyalty and enduring love are things Sansa would appreciate, and certainly deserves after all that she's been through. He has qualities of the ideal knight she used to dream of, including the good looks (I'm referring to the show version). I don't want Jorah to continue "wasting" his love on Dany, who doesn't love him in return; he also deserves someone who can return his love.
  10. I disagree with all of this and with your statement that Sansa's "trope is the princess in the tower who wanted to marry a handsome prince and be a lady in a song/fairy tale." I think that's too incomplete a description to constitute a real trope. Her trope is more that of the beautiful, initially shallow princess who eventually realizes that good looks do not always mean good character, and vice versa. So it makes more sense for her to end up with someone whom she had misjudged at first, such as Tyrion or the Hound. But I also think that that trope could be deconstructed to some extent if she actually ends up single, realizing that she doesn't need a prince (handsome or not) in the first place. And on a side note, it would be even more of a deconstruction if Arya, the tomboyish princess who never thought of getting married, is the one who ends up in a romantic relationship, while Sansa chooses to be on her own.
  11. I didn't see anything in the spoiler that connected those two scenes either. That's why I don't think the dead person is necessarily Dany. I think it could instead be Arya, based on the possible spoilers posted here a few days ago (https://www.reddit.com/r/freefolk/comments/6x8zyo/season_8_general_outlinejuly_17_script/ ). According to these spoilers, in the last episode, Arya is found dead in the snow by Melisandre, but is then resurrected.
  12. The show writers seem to have made Dany fireproof, though, so if she ever sacrifices herself it probably wouldn't be by burning herself. Also, I'm curious: why do you think "the two previous WTF moments pertain to Dany" in particular? Why not to Jon, Bran, Jaime, etc.? I also noticed that with the two previous WTF moments, the people sacrificed (Shireen and Hodor) didn't sacrifice themselves of their own free will. Stannis and Bran-Meera made those decisions for them. So if the third WTF moment is also a sacrifice, it might involve someone sacrificing another innocent person. Is this perhaps why you think it's possible Dany would sacrifice herself while pregnant--her baby would be the innocent victim? Just wondering.
  13. *If* Natalie Dormer is to be believed in this interview, then yes, we can rule out: (1) Queen Sansa (unless as a consort perhaps?) and (2) the Iron Throne being dismantled/replaced with a democratic leadership/similar theories: https://www.bustle.com/p/natalie-dormer-knows-how-game-of-thrones-season-8-ends-well-at-least-part-of-it-9195992
