There are many examples of this. I believe that Allison was very depressed prior to Gabriel's death. I doubt she was ever happy . I believe it was suicide. I was under the impression that the point of that scene was that Helen didn't get off only Vic did. I saw it as a need to feel alive after receiving devestating news. I still think that Vic is a flaming asshole for asking for a kid. But imagine that you received the news that you had late stage pancreatic cancer. Doesn't that disease have the lowest survival rate of all cancer? And to someone as arrogant as Vic, that must be quite a blow. All of the money, the status, cannot help him now. I think, given Darla's history, that Ralph Angel has every right to be cautious. A drug addict is never cured -and in most cases, it's a matter of when they relapse, not if. She's been working hard for three years - but how long was she getting high? How many times did Ralph Angel watch her relapse? Darla is always going to be an addict - Ralph Angel shouldn't forget that.

I have conducted fact-findings at work, and it astounds me how two different employees can see the world in two different ways. Our biases color our world. Noah sees Alison as a sexpot, so she's sexy in every scene. Alison is depressed(?) and sees herself as a mess, so she's frumpy in every scene. Alison sees Cole as a penis, so..... I can't explain the events listed above though. Louisa (as we are discussing the show) ticked me off with her rant to Cole. Yes, the process is arduous, and it should be. As Louisa listed all of the reasons she didn't qualify for a green card, I remember thinking, "Yes, how dare we expect people to actually contribute to this country in some way to stay here.". The requirements that she listed were not unreasonable. Her anger at Cole was misplaced - did she expect him to apologize? Maybe she was upset with him for the "breaking his neck looking for Alison" move - and I totally get that. But the show picked an odd way for her to express that. I was shocked when Cole suggested that she try again. Of course you try, and keep trying. But I expect this to come up again and perhaps she will be deported by season's end.

I agree Louisa should have taken care of her status by now. I think they tried before and then just what? Gave up? And yeah I would never drive if I didn't have papers.

How old is Louisa now and how many years has she had to get a green card? And why is any of this Cole's fault? Did we know before tonight that Louisa was illegal? I had no idea. That makes her more annoying. She has no right to cry about a situation that she put herself in, and Cole really needs to double think this relationship. He is risking a lot. WTF was Allison wearing in her POV? She looked awful. I am questioning how can someone with a felony teach kids. The show needs to explain this, as it should be impossible. That is discussing the storyline.

Vic has diabetes - they keep referencing is weight loss and that is the only.thing that I can think of that causes rapid weight loss. Either Vic is gonna cheat with the neighbor or Helen is gonna assume that he is cheating with the neighbor and be totally bitchy about it. Helen so ignored Noah's phone call at the school.
